    And what if maiden name pa nya ang nasa record ng NBI but right now she is already married? Please advise

    Guys question. If you have a student visa, can you apply for a pr visa kung hindi pa tapos studies mo? Kase balak ko kumuha ng masters pero kung may positive assessment na ako sa profession ko pwede na ba mg lodge ng eoi kahit hindi pa tapos studies ko?

    I think this is a waste of time and money...
    Kase I have a relative and she will sponsor me sa student visa and it's the fastest way to get there. Plan ko kase is to get a 1 year masters tapos after getting a skills assessmentand while studying, I can find an employer or kung wala, apply as independent/state sponsored. Now my question is: if i do get an employer willing to sponsor me, pwede ba kahit di pa tapos studies mo, papalitan na yung visa mo?

    And follow up question na din: If applying as independent/state sponsored, kelangan ba yung proof of funds? Parang wala kase ako nababasa dito e.

    Hi @pmzinoz, hindi naman need ang NBI Clearance upon lodgement of VISA. Need mo sya once hiningi na ni CO or if you feel malapit ka na magka CO... if you want to secure the doc in advance. Pero wag nman upon Visa Lodgement.


    Re: maiden name, i think dapat updated na ang NBI Clearance na married name na nya ang nakalagay. Ganyan yung case namin. :)

    Andito pa ako sa Pinas. I'm applying for a student visa pero di umabot ngayong July. So february na lang if God permits. Pero balak ko, like all of us here do, is to get a PR visa. Sana di mawala yung profession ko sa SOL.

    Why don't you try applying na after getting your skills assessment, sasabihin naman nila kung kelangan mu muna tapusin yung studies di ba. Tapos update ka dito. Kase up to now, wala pa nakasagot sa tanong ko kung pwede mag shift ang visa from student to permanent kahit di pa tapos sa studies.

    magbabakasakali lang at mag ask lang ako kung sino ang pwede na makatulong sa akin. ako po ay nagtatrabaho bilang preventive maintenance(assisstant engineer) sa isang manufacturing company. 5 yrs expereince.
    nakapag ielts na din kaso nalilito ako kung saan ako magpapaskill assess.

    hello po! welcome to the forum... :) natingnan nyo na po ba yung Skilled Occupation List ng DIAC? I-check nyo po dun kung ano yung pinaka-suitable na job code nyo... tapos pag napili nyo na.. alam ko na naka-indicate din dun kung cno yung relevant assessing body ng job code na napili nyo... :)

    depende po dun sa description ng job code... not sure kac about the eligibility requirements for engineers. :)

    kung sa bagong rule na kelangan mo muna mag submit ng IELTS bago magpasa ng EOI, pano mo malalaman kung ano dapat ang kuhain mo?

    ako po ay isang structural engineer na may balak din kumuha ng masters sa au kung papalarin..so dapat ba academic ang kuhain ko? kung hindi na ako magaral sa au, pede na din bang general lang?

    kung mag apply ka naman as skilled migrant thru EOI, general lang po ang requirement ng EA (as your assessing body)..

    Hello po,

    Ask ko lang po ito, in preparation kung ma-invite man soon: kapag na-invite na po mag-lodge ng visa application, nagpapadala pa po ba kayo ng mga hard copies (certified true copies) ng mga required documents via mail/courier sa DIAC or inii-scan na lang ang mga originals then ina-upload sa website ng SkillSelect?

    Kailangan po ba munang ipa-certify true copies ang mga photocopies at ito po bang mga pina-CTC and kailangang ii-scan at i-upload (and not the originals) ?

    Hinahanda ko na po kasi ang mga documents ko, at kung required nga na ipa-certify true copy sa notaryo, ay maipagawa ko na dito sa P'nas habang nandito pa po ako (wala po kasi akong mahanap na nagsi-CTC sa Middle East, kung saan po ako nagwo-work ngayon).

    – CO allocated (GSM Adelaide – Team 06); additional documents requested by CO
    – health exams done ("No health examinations are required...") — Thank You once again!
    September 2013
    – lodged visa application—Lord, thank You for allowing me to pass through this stage!
    – positive response from WA; negative from VIC
    – applied for VIC state nomination; invited to apply for QLD and WA state nominations too—eventually declined QLD invitation after much thought, careful consideration, and prayers
    – obtained positive VETASSESS skills assessment and subsequently submitted EOI
    July 2013 – IELTS at the British Council; first take — thank You!
    May 2013 – applied for VETASSESS skills assessment

    It is just the scanned copy @alchemicus; no need for a hard copy to be sent...

    If you can be able to scan it in full color, pwede na hindi kailangan ng CTC'ed copy otherwise, pa CTC mo muna then scan it.

    Tama ginagawa mo, you can prepare these now and file it. A few weeks from now when you get invited, mas easier on your part as you will just need to retrieve these files and attach sa application mo.
