Tama ba?
yes po. u have to submit the required documents. pwede mo na din isama yang police clearance nio altogether.

@poochy500 Sa EOI, ilagay mo ung complete employment history mo for the past 10 years, pero ang icclaim mo lng na relevant or related experience ay ung employment after Oct 2008. so yung previous employment before Oct 2008, ichoose mo na lang na "Not Relevant" or "Not related" (nkalimtan ko n ung alin sa dalawa ung term na ginagamit sa EOI, hehe)
    @axlrose thanks

    What about sa Education History?

sa ACS ko kase Bachelor Degree major in computing, i graduate BSCS
Bale ichoose ko sa drop down ay Bachelor Degree (other) then sa course name Computer Science?

    Qualification: Bachelor Degree(other)
    Course name: Computer Science
should be same as what is in your degree certificate. so kung BSCS ka, select Bachelor degree (other) or ung may Bachelor degree in science, business and technology (something similar to this) then course name - Computer Science.

I studied in Miriam, I had it assessed na by AEI-NOOSR and equivalent siya sa Australian Bachelor Degree, may bearing ba yun sa points for 189 visa?

depend on which state is open for sponsorship and points claimed. usually pag 65 points and SI mabilis din nmn. mejo unreliable na kasi mga states ngyn kasi pahirp n ng pahirp criteria. some states even require job offer.

u need to get your partner skills assessed and competent english is required. pero ang alm ko sa Nurse, min of 7 each band ang required for the skills assessment. plus she needs to register sa AHPRA. im not too familiar sa Nurse's skills assessment.

hi there! im a newbie here. I am glad I saw this forum where I can seek help to make things clear. :)

This is my profile (where I am now): I am 25 y/o and working for 5 years as IT Business Systems Analyst. I haven't lodged application for Skills Assessment at ACS. I am on the process of collecting requirements for the assessment. I reviewed the ACS guidelines and checklist. Respall also did a walkthrough of the whole process. There are just thing I needed to clarify...

    Here are my questions:

    1. Is it better to migrate DIY or with a help of RMA? My bf and I did the initial assessment with Respall. Please advise us if is it possible and easy to DIY because their prof fee is so much for us. Or, can we get the Respall service after the ACS Result and before the lodging of EOI so we will incur lesser cost. Or can you recommend other cheaper yet knowledgeable agents?

    2. My bf does not qualify for the initial assessment due to the years of his work experience. He is a web developer btw. Respall agent told us that I can be the principal applicant and he will be dependent provided that we marry before EOI or Visa lodgement. Is it true that he will also get the same SI 189 visa if I qualify most of the processes? What is he required to do? Does he have to undergo the ACS Skill Assessment too?

    3. In case I chose to DIY, are there any tips you can give me to have a successful ACS Assessment and Visa grant? What is the estimate overall cost until the visa grant?

Sorry for this long post. Hope you can help us with our journey!

    Thank you very much! :)

    July 6, 2015 - Lodge ACS application
July 13, 2015 - Received ACS result: AQF Bachelor degree major in Computing.. praise God!

Hello po, magtatanong lang po, dun sa other names po ba kailangan pa ibigay yong different variation ng name? Kasi some of my documents do not have my middle name, yong iba naman middle initial lang. Kailangan po ba ilagay yon lahat sa Other names?

Yes, you can definitely DIY. Just make sure to fully understand the processes/steps of each phase: from Skills assessment to EOI submission to Visa lodgement. Read the ACS and IMMI sites (for info on Skilled Indepedent visa go to https://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/189.aspx). Start with understanding the ACS requirements. The result from the assessment will determine your points under the Educational Qualifications and Work Experience factors.

    2. My bf does not qualify for the initial assessment due to the years of his work experience. He is a web developer btw. Yes, provided that you marry before EOI or visa lodgement, you can claim Partner points (5 points). To claim this, your partner must also undergo a skills assessment from ACS (he just needs a suitable result for his nominated occupation) . Dapat nasa SOL din yung nominated occupation nya. Kailangan din nya ng IELTS (minimum of 6 for all bands). Details on Partner points requirements are in https://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/189.aspx under the Points test tab.

    3. In case I chose to DIY, are there any tips you can give me to have a successful ACS Assessment and Visa grant? What is the estimate overall cost until the visa grant?
Read and make sure to fully understand the ACS requirements and docs needed. Do a self-evaluation based on these reqts; check that you meet all their requirements in order to have a suitable result. Start with the assessment since you won't be able to move on to the next steps (EOI and visa lodgement) without a suitable skills assessment. Costs are on the ACS website. Cost ng Visa naman ay nasa site that I provided above, may cost estimator sila dun. Tyaga2 lng talaga sa pag-basa. :)

@zitrojam Btw, if you get married, you don't have to claim for Partner points if you meet the minimum na 60 points thru other factors (age, educ, work expr, etc.). You can add him as a dependant applicant pag nag-lodge ka na ng visa.

    Hi,

Can somebody please help me with this, gusto ko lang magkaroon ng idea from people who are applying and have applied na. I've been in Australia for 2.5yrs under a student visa.

    Age: 27
SOL: Early Childhood Preprimary School Teacher
Work Experience: 2.5 (So I figured wala siya bearing since it didn't reach the minimum number of years)
    English Ability: OB 8
    Qualifications:
Miriam- Early Childhood Education degree = Australian Bachelor Degree (assessed by AEI-NOOSR)
    Australian Study Requirement:
2 years full time Diploma of Business course here in Australia. Do I get eligible points for this?

That's it. Do you guys think I have a high chance of having a successful 189 application?

    Thankyou very much :)

I can lodge naman ng ibang temporary visa application kaso sayang sa money...

How to claim additional points for partner? RN po xa and ako po sa IT. Thanks po in advance.
u need to get your partner skills assessed and competent english is required. pero ang alm ko sa Nurse, min of 7 each band ang required for the skills assessment. plus she needs to register sa AHPRA. im not too familiar sa Nurse's skills assessment.
Thank you po sa inyo. I need to focus sa IELTS para kahit di makakuha ng points from partner e pasok parin sa 60 points. Target date is June-July.
good luck, kaya mo yan. u may also want to consider alternative english test like TOEFL, according sa mga nababasa ko mas madali daw sia. Not sure though kasi IELTS pa lang namn natry ko.

Hello po, magtatanong lang po, dun sa other names po ba kailangan pa ibigay yong different variation ng name? Kasi some of my documents do not have my middle name, yong iba naman middle initial lang. Kailangan po ba ilagay yon lahat sa Other names?
u can do that, pero i dont think its necessary. ang important lang sa other names in my opinion is ung name before marriage and kung nagchange ka ng name (say u have a deed poll) or chinese names.
