korek napakamahal ng data plan dito.. advice is kumuha kayo ng month to month basis yung walang contract meron yata ung iinet at vivid mobile unli data for $79. nabigla din kami kasi 8GB lng kinuha nmin sa telstra halos maubos sa isang linggo ang lakas pala makakain ng data ng videos sa youtube naiinip kasi pag naghahanap work hehe..

sa car medyo tsambahan din makakauha kau sa gumtree or quokka pag dealer naman medyo sure ng unti pero pag under 4K ung kotse mo walang warranty mas maganda magsama ng marunong tumingin or sa test drive malalamn na somehow kung maganda pa ang condition basta walang major issues like engine failure/leaking.. nakakuha kami ng kotse sa small dealer dito banda sa albany highway $3K sonata model 2004 150K pero after makuha may mga pinagawa pa kami (logbooking, battery etc.) na umabot sa $500+... pwede na din basta may nagagamit. (iba pa ang change of ownership fee, Rego extension etc.) para sa convenience na din lalo ngayong summer

hi guys... ask ko lang... magkano ba dpat ang estimated na kelangan dalhin to AU for singles like me? it will be my first time tin Australia and I don't know anyone. It's starting to scare me but I know I have to do it. In addition pala, just in case I don't find work in my field agad. Mahirap ba makahanap ng mga waitressing or whatever type of work jan sa AU? i know i can count on my fellow forumers for help. so i'm asking now... love, ms. fretful..

Though nasa SG pa rin kami pero sa application kasi namin address namin is AU na at my au phone number din kami.. Kaso ala pa rin..

@rachelle_gan2 naku wala pa ding good result may tumawag na agent kaso puro local experience ang hinahanap ung iba dedma tapos yung iba rejection letter at walang hiring.. exactly 1 month na kami kahapon eh..medyo nag aadjust pa din pero inabot na ko ng holiday vacation dito pero dont loose hope pa din nandito na kami eh kaya house band muna ako hehe... balak ko munang mag part time or volunteer work for the meantime para makakuha ng magandang reference at matikman ung local experience na hinahanap nila.. u still in SG? anong profession nyo? goodluck on your journey here down under!

hello po... actually kahit saan pwede naman po ako... pero gusto ko sana sa sydney... pero sabi nla mas ok daw ang transportation in melbourne so mas madali to get around the city kung wala pa car... ikaw lang din ba mag isa? san plan mo?

@rachelle_gan2 medyo mahirap nga sa situation nyo pero hintay hintay lng try apply online using your Au address at number medyo matumal nga lang hiring sa line natin this days pero who knows baka makalusot by early next year.. or pwede din namn isa sa inyo mauna then pag settled na saka na kayo sabay pumunta dito.. wala pa din kasi kami kids newly married pa kaya decide kami na sabay na pumunta dito ako main applicant pero sya unang nagka work sa sales marketing kasi sya medyo malawak ang scope sa atin is medyo technical.. goodluck sa jobhunting!

@raymundjubyOZ actually CE kami parehas ni hubby, kaso c hubby sa const cya, ako naman sa sales and marketing. Sales Engr ako building materials ung hawak ko.. what a co incidence naman sales din ung wife. Saang field cya? Building materials or retail sales ung napasukan nya?

@aristle kung may work ka na dito na naghihintay sayo, that is more than enough...pero kung wala pa, sa isang buwan e pwede na yan...basta kung maghahanap ka pa lang ng work dito, wag kang mapili sa work... :-)

I think it's good mayroon ka breakdown of expenses gawin before moving to Au. Include all major needs mo. Pwede sa excel file para easy to update as you get more info sa $ amount. This way, hindi ka ma-short po sa Au. God bless

Total = 1,800aud/month...feasible?

ano po need consider for initial move? like may deposit po ba sa room, syempre airfare, or any other fees need to consider na hindi pa kami aware

will still try to ask around if may pede ako pag stay-an na kakilala..pero madali po ba maghanap sa NSW area na place na natanggap ng bed spacer..max of 2 persons sa isang room sana..malapit sa train station..parang SG lang..sanay naman maglakad kaya kahit malayo sa CBD basta malapit sa train station ok lang naman sken.

i think NO, as per experience ang hirap makakkita rental ng 350aud and below per week (whole unit).

$1000 is enough sa isang buwan, yes. But do you have a plan B pag within 1 month hindi ka pa makahanap ng work? I think naman makakasya mo pa yan sa 2 months kung libre accommodation mo and mag titipid ka muna. Check mo nalang sa job portal and dito kung madami ba hiring sa occupation mo para you have idea kung mabilis ka ba makakahanap ng work
