    Hi, Guys!

Does any of you here experienced submitting a CDR to Engineers Australia where the no. of words for each career episode is more than 2000? I have already prepared mine and I am having difficulty targeting the desired no. of words most especially on the Personal Engineering Activity part. I always reach beyond 1000 words for this part alone. Do you also include in the counting the words in the heading, tables and figures label and paragraph numbers? Also, in the event that I do not reach the maximum no. of words (that is 2000) but no. of words in Personal Engineering Activity part is beyond 1000, will this still be acceptable? Will EA deduct points for career episodes with more than 2000 words? Kindly enlighten me as I am having trouble revising my career episodes just not to go beyond 2000 words.

As always, thank you very much! :)

    Hi everyone! I am also nee here... I have several questions i hope you could answer them. I have read the process of applying for a subclass visa 189. I also have been assessed by a consulting agency to be eligible for the said visa if i got a 7-8 score in ielts. So my question are;
    1. can i apply even if my relatives will not sponsor me or there will be additional points given to those with sponsorship?
    2. I have 3 kids. Will this be a factor for me to land a job? A cousin of mine told me that zero tolerance dw ang au s mga may anak??
    3. I am a secondary teacher, is it possible that i could get a teaching position also in au if i would be given a state license? Sang state ba maraming teaching positions available?
    Thank u for your responses...
    1. yes as long as you meet the passmark of 60 points no need for your relatives to sponsor u.
    2. No, not a factor.
    3. Yes, State registration is required but having the license doesn't guarantee u a job. it still depends on your capability.

No interview unless spousal visa or prospective marriage visa. Some skills assessment do call sometimes to verify information though.

sa dami ng kilala kong nag apply sa EA, wala nmn ako narinig na nadeduct sila ng points due to the number of words. parang ni hindi nga sila nagbilang. hhehehe.

u dont need to indicate the number of words in the headings. so far ilang pages ba CDR mo?

@axlrose Does it matter po ba kung mataas ang ceiling ng occupation like for RNs? 15,+++ po kasi ng ceiling pero 2,+++ lang ang nag apply? Will it make it faster.

Need pa po ba ng bank statement for poof of funds?

@bytubytu I think this migration yr, ang occupation groups lng na affected are the Software and Application programmers and Accountants, kse malapit na ma-exhaust ung slots. For RNs, hindi naman, so I think standard processing time pa din... (although i'm not really knowledgeable on how occupation demand affects processing time hehe)

Yes, puwede k mgsubmit ng EOI anytime bsta lahat ng cnlaim mo na points are valid at the time of submission. As per the SkillSelect site, Expressions of Interest with earlier dates of effect are invited before later dates.. eg. If i submitted an EOI before an invitation round and I wasn't invited on that round, tapos nag-submit ka nmn after that rond, ung EOI ko will be ranked higher than ur EOI sa order of invitations.

Hindi kami ngprovide ng work experience documents kase ndi kami ngclaim ng points for that and wala din pinaassess ung husband ko sa ANMAC na work exp. Hindi rin kami ng provide ng proof of income kase wala nmn sa document checklist reqts. Although ongoing pa processing ng visa namin, so balitaan kita kng may hininging additional documents ung CO. :)

thanks for answering my questions! Pano ba nalalaman kung naabot na yung ceiling? Tama po ba yung gagawin k? First is to get the academic IELTS then let my credentials be assessed by AITSL then submit EOI via skill select?

yes tama po. Usually nagpopost sila sa immi website kung anong occupation ung nareach na ung ceiling or kun alin ung sobrang daming applicants, kasi they do pro-rata invitation. U can check http://www.immi.gov.au/Work/Pages/SkillSelect/SkillSelect.aspx for the occupation ceilings.

No red ribbon is a waste of money that is only needed by these crocodiles in the gov't... CTC can be done by any lawyer if you are fulfilling requirement for immigration.

when u say 2.5 weeks when u submitted the requirements, r u referring sa visa lodgment mo and wala ka pang Case officer? if yes, then thats normal. on an average it takes about 10-12 weeks before a case officer is assigned. pero may mga cases na pag nakaupload na lahat ng documents including police and medical e direct visa grant na.
