Hi, mag initial entry po kami sa July then balik ulet ng Dubai to settle things, probably a year pa before kami mag BIG move. ask ko lang during po ba ng initial entry need na namin mag apply sa centrelink and bank account? baka kase kulangin time namin to apply. thanks

Another question about naman sa medicare, pano nyo in-update ung immunisation record ng kids? Nung nagcheck ako online ng medicare, hindi updated ung sa kids ko. Tia!

@perfectbeauty yung question mo regarding immunization, ang ginawa ko dati binigay ko lang yung records ng baby ko sa GP niya then sila yung nagsubmit ng form sa medicare tapos naupdate naman yung records ng baby ko.
So ang gawin mo kapag may checkup yung anak mo or kung meron siyang GP na pinupuntahan na dito, inquire mo dun na magsusubmit ka ng immunization history ng anak mo

@perfectbeauty register ka nalang online sa centrelink mo, bilis lang naman. then mag add ka nga claim, after mag fill-in ng details nyo naman may list ng requirements na you need to submit sa centrelink. make sure lang na hindi zero ang ilalagay nyo na estimated income. pwde kahit si hubby lang lalagyan nyo ng estimated income para buo parin ang matatanggap nyo na FTB B

@perfectbeauty thats great.. usually 3 to 6 weeks bago mo mareceive. kung may rent certificate ka, submit mo na rin lahat ng pages. sa case kasi namin nadelay ng 3 months dahil jan e.

nilagay ko sa estimate income until July 2015 including my previous parttime, current full time income and overseas income since tuloy tuloy pa rin sya.

@moonwitchbleu - hello... nisuggest mo na hindi zero ilagay sa est income pano kung wala pa talaga kayong trabaho both na magasawa? Kumikita yung bank account ko dahil sa interest, monthly, pwede na ba yun?

@gerardds ok na may nareceive na kami from centrelink

hindi na kami hiningan ng rental certificate kasi nung nag-apply kami, hindi pa kami nagrerent, nakikitira pa lang. So walang rent assistance payment. Then yesterday nag-update ako ng address kasi nakahanap na kami ng house, automatic naman na next payment namin meron na kami marereceive na rent assistance payment. Wala kami schoolkids bonus nga lang.

Hello everyone!

Just like to ask for your inputs.
I arrived in Perth last week and I immediately applied to Centrelink online and nabigyan nmn ako ng CAN. Afterwards, I went to a Centrelink office and I asked if there'll be any assistance or support that I can get. I have a PR189 visa and the representative told me that I cannot get anything until I have been in Australia for 104 weeks (2 years). Prang na blangko ako ksi prng wla n ako matanong after ko malaman n wla pl sila maitutulong s ken. I am married nga pla but my husband is yet to follow me here maybe at the end of this year (or earlier i hope) because of his contract in Malaysia. We don't have a child yet so I was thinking that maybe they only give family assistance/benefits.

I went their the second time to ask if they can register me for the Job assistance program. They only gave me a job seeker's ID and then wala na. I was expecting that they would give me a list of the Job assistance provider but they only said that I could get them online which is fine because i already have the list. But you see on the humanservicesonline website, it is indicated that Centrelink could arrange an appointment between me and the job assistance provider (this is like a recruitment company). I tried to use the job seekers ID online to one of the providers but it was not accepted, haaays. So now I am again to go back to Centrelink and I would like to have all of the questions ready to ask them. I hope that you can fill me up with more inputs.

@johnvangie hehehe kme nga march pa, till now wala pa - then centrelink mentioned na it can take up to 13 weeks. parang june/july pa sa start ng fiscal nila.

@rareking may iba dito na nilagay nila estimated na magiging income nila in the following month up to june kahit wala pa silang work, assuming makakakuha sila ng work naman. Anyway pag end of F.Y. i.checheck naman ng centrelink and tax contribution mo and base dun they will recompute. if ever kulang ang na receive nyo ibibigay nila yung kulang, if sobra naman dapat mo ibigay sa kanila yung sobra.

@trtz, ganyan din sinabi sa kin nung first time ko nagpunta centrelink, 189 kami at wala daw kami matatanggap na support. Pero nagregister pa rin ako online. Bumalik kami ni hubs dun, ang sinabi lang namin nalilito kami magclaim online kaya kailangan namin ng assistance kung pano ung online claiming. Ayun may nag-assist naman sa min, binigyan kami ng bagong account and sa job assistance, yes sila nagset ng appointment sa agency.

@Andoy31, ah cguro sa July meron na tayo mare receive. Kun kelan naman dumating ang kids, dun ang start ng payment :-) Kaya OK lang, para tayong nag ipon :-)

makikisali na rin po sa usapan. family of 3 kami at ako lang ang may full-time job pero minimum pay lang. si misis ang nag-apply ng benefits from centrelink nung first week ng march gang ngayon wala pa ring dumadating ni singkong duling sa amin.hehe!

weird lang kasi nung nag-apply si misis dala nya lahat ng docs to prove na employed ako at minimum lang sahod ko pero di naman kinuha ng staff at sinabi lang sa kanya na kokontakin na lang sya pag may kailangan pa sa amin. after a few weeks may nareceive kaming sulat from centrelink na na-receive na nila yung ni-lodge ni misis na application sa kanila pero yun nga lang, wala pa ring dumadating gang ngayon.

iniisip ko na baka dahil nakikita naman nilang may full-time work ako e dinidelay muna nila ang payments sa amin? sana sa july (EOFY) na nila ibigay...

baka meron pong katulad o medyo katulad namin ng case... magkano po narereceive nyo? gusto ko lang kasing malaman para may idea kami kung makakaipon kami at makakatulong ng konti sa pamilya sa pinas.
