ang laki talaga ng benefits ng centrelink pag may family ka. pero ako hinde pa din kumukuha kasi wala naman mapapala ang mga S.A.W.I. (Single At Walang Iniintindi). lol!

Hi @dhey_almighty, yung rent assistance kasama sya sa FTB. So kung di ka eligible sa FTB, di mo rin maavail yung rent assistance.

Maliit lang din naman un rent assistance. Below $50 lang ata ung sakin forthnightly. Weekly rental namin ay $400.

Hello po... first time ko po magpost dito pinoyau from being a lurker. Kakadating lang po namin ng family ko dito sa Sydney and we are currently in the process of lodging a claim sa Centrelink. Tanong ko lang po kung paano nyo sinagutan yung taxable income sa form. Estimate lang po ba yun from the July 1 of this year? May previous work kasi kami ng husband ko sa SG before moving here. Ngayon looking for work kami. May kailangan po bang ipresent na documents as proof of income? Kasama rin po ba yung laman ng bank accounts dito sa AU? Nailipat na po kasi namin lahat ng savings namin from SG. (wala nang urungan)

Nagpunta kasi kami sa Centrelink last week and they just registered me and provided a password. Sabi online na daw ang pagclaim. Kaso medyo confused lang ako sa taxable income part... kung paano sasagutan. Thanks!

@bluecomet08 nung dumating kami ng baby dito may work na si hubby dito. ang linagay lng namin na income ay yung natatanggap namin starting from the initial entry, so hindi namin deniclare ang income namin sa sg. if naman wala pang work both ilagay nyo nalang estimated na matatanggap nyung income up to june 2015. by the end of f.y. naman may kailangan tayong sagutin na questions regarding sa income and they will verify it thru the tax. so they will recompute it and pag sobra ang nabigay nilang FTB you have to pay them back the excess, if kung naman they will give you the amount na kulang. so when you declare the income make sure lng din hindi mapapasobra ang ang maki.claim para wala kayong babayaran. anyway, you can always update the income naman pag may changes.

Curious png po ako @johnvangie. yung friend nyo po ba eh naglodge ng visa when she was already pregnant na and then nagrant and then nagpunta ng Oz? kasi our status is deferred ang x-ray procedure of my wife's medical but we have lodged our visa application na..maraming salamat po! Merry Christmas!

Grant na po ang VISA nila nun... After a month of VISA approval sya nabuntis :-)

Hi, we are granted 189 visa last September 2014 and we plan to move to Melbourne by May 2015. I am now 8-week pregnant and is due to deliver by August 2015. My question - do I need to advise my CO about my status? Or okay lang to fly na lang by May and dun na magpacheckup and manganak.

Anyone here who have or had the same case as me? Appreciate any inputs!! Thanks

@key_ren no need to inform CO po kung dito kayu manganganak. Basta may medicare, kahit singkong duling wala po kayu babayaran sa panganganak dito. Automatic aussie passport pa ang baby nyu. Congrats po.

Kadarting lng niya with her daughter last week
Nagregister na sya sa centrelink and now nagsasagot sya nung online. Yung husband and other 2 kids nya sa March pa susunod. Makakapagclaik na ba sya para sa daughter na kasama nya? Tapos pwede po ba magfile ng parenting payment ng wala pang tfn ng husband? Hndi pa kasi makaapply ng tfn since sa march pa dadating.

Hi, are PR holders eligible for Centrelink benefits right as soon as they make their first entry in Aus? What benefits can we apply for immediately? We have a 1 year old kid but still resides the Philippines and will follow here in a few months. Thank you!

you will be eligible for family tax benefit but only after your kid arrives in AU.

TFN will require at least 2 weeks - they'll send it to you thru mail.
centrelink - pwede but you will need to fill up the forms manually, if you have the TFN everything can be done online. Benefits are retroactive...
skillmax - pwede
medicare - they'll send the card to your registered mail after 2 weeks.

alam ko pwede na cya magclaim ng family tax benefit but she will need to fill-up the forms manually and send it back to centrelink ulit.

@islanderndCity i know someone who underwent IVF hindi covered ng medicare lahat ng cost meron rebate pero medyo malaki out of pocket costs pero they got health insurance na covered yun. Meron lang waiting period pero lam ko they were able to reimburse yung expenses nila for IVF

Hi all! Question about centrelink, more than a month na kami dito sa Au, 1week ng pagdating namin, nagpunta kami ng centrelink to register pinapunta kami sa self service counter at pinatawagan ung customer service nila. Ang sabi sa min nung nakausap namin, di daw kami makakatanggap ng support from centrelink dahil sa klase ng visa namin (189 visa kami) tinanong ko, kung meron para sa kids (5 & 10yrs old ung mga anak ko) wala din daw. Meron din ba ganitong case dito? Kasi sabi ng mga kakilala ko, dapat kahit man lang sa kids meron support.

@perfectbeauty We are on 190 visa and yet we received Family tax benefits A / B, rent assist, school kids bonus. We arrived last Dec 24, with my family, wife , son 8 years old
daughter 13 yrs old. Matagal nga lang namin nareceived, ( after 3 months) due to may required docs pa for rent certificate. 189 should have these benefits as well.

Are you and your wife already working? i think may threshold din yung salary like 140k something.

@gerardds thanks sa reply. Wala pa kami work ni hubby, naghahanap pa lang. Konti lang naman ang fund na dala namin and malaking tulong sana kung may support from centrelink. Last February kami dumating dito, sabi naman ng iba baka daw nagbago na or depende daw talaga sa visa.

more or less $680 per fortnight yun. di kaya kala nila 489 kayo instead of 189?
