One more question since 489 visa ko, i'm jst allowed to work and live in southern inland, I'm currently working for Australian company if I'll ask them to retain me sa sydney naman offce nla,ok lng ba kng work from home nlng ako just to prove the immgration na sa southern inland ako ngwork? Pls advise po. Thanks! May gnto na ba kyong alam na arrangement?

im not too sure whether your company would allow u to work from home all the time. if they agreed u, na home based ka, maybe u can ask them din na they can declare na sa regional area ka assigned. ang problem kasi is u are only allowed to work in regional or designated areas, even if u home based pero indi ideclare nung company mo un, technically u are employed by a company which is based in Sydney.

@sarah_lyn sis why don't you try to email your co? Sumasagot nmn cla. I emailed them ng June 28 tpos ayun may grant na ng July 2. Never ko pa natry mag call, puro emails lng.

Question lng po: given na 489 kmi n hubby is the main applicant. Kung halimbawa ba una ako na mka fulfill ng 1 yr full time work and 2 yrs residency eh pwede ba ako mauna mag apply ng pr? Or dpat tlga main applicant lng ang mka fulfill neto before we can all apply for pr? Any links/references that can verify this? Salamat mga makaka sagot po.

@koykoy in my case may mga pamangkin ako na dependent 489..only me can apply and will fulfill the req..once nagapply ako for 887, sama na lahat ng dependents (no work and residency req as long as onshore)..i emailed DIBP at yan sagot nila...im not sure sa case mo

With respect to your specific questions about applying for a subclass 887 visa and including your nephews in your application I can advise as follows

1. You are the only person who can be the main applicant for a subclass 887 visa and only you need to satisfy the requirement of 2 years residence and 12 months of full time work
2. There is no minimum residency requirement that your nephews must satisfy before you can include them in your application
3. Each person included in your application must have complied with the condition 8539 while in Australia
4. You can include your nephews in your application even if they are no longer financially dependent on you
5. If you want to include your nephews in your application you must do this at the time you lodge your application as they cannot be added after the application is lodged
6. Your nephews cannot become eligible to apply for a subclass 887 visa in their own right given they hold a subclass 489 visa that was granted to them as your dependents i.e. while holding their current visas they can only apply if included in your application.

I just want to ask if I'll be nominated by my cousin, what are his obligations? May bond po ba sya babayaran? Ito po ang nabasa ko sa Statutory Declaration.

1. provide information and advice to help my relatives settle in Australia;
2. assist my relatives to the extent necessary in relation to accommodation during
the period of two years immediately following the grant of the visa if my
relatives are in Australia, or during the period of two years immediately
following their first entry into Australia under that visa, if my relatives are
outside Australia.
3. assist my relatives financially, to the extent necessary, during the period of two
years immediately following the grant of the visa if my relatives are in
Australia, or during the period of two years immediately following their first
entry into Australia under that visa, if my relatives are outside Australia.
4. accept responsibility for all financial obligations to the Commonwealth
incurred by my relatives that arise out of their stay in Australia.
5. accept responsibility for compliance by my relatives with all relevant
legislation and awards in relation to any employment entered into by my

relatives in Australia.
6. accept responsibility for compliance by my relatives with the conditions under
which they are allowed to enter Australia (unless the Minister decides
otherwise).
7. inform the department in writing if I withdraw my support for my relative/s
before this application is finalised
