Anyone here have submitted Japan PCC? Please share your experience
Naka sealed kasi sya tapos may note na ma invalid pag binuksan. panu kaya yun e upload? O antay nalang nang CO tapos e tanong namin dun sa CO kung pwedeng e open? Thanks sa sasagot.

we sent the picture of the envelope to shoe it is sealed and we were asked to open and have it certified. others suggested to open it. certification is a bit expensive. around 45usd.

@ChE017 - Salamat. Ganyan din ginawa namin inupload namin yung envelope naka-sulat na sealed. And we will email the CO later to ask permission if we can open it.

nagemail lang kami sa CO kung pwede iopen then inopen na namin after ng approval nila.

my friend opened and uploaded it in the system. no issues namn so far. they were approved in 2013. so i guess no issues nmn.

@ChE017 Hi. I just want to ask, did you wait for a formal request from the CO before getting Police Clearance from Japan? Ang sabi kasi samin, kailangan daw ng document as proof na required ang police clearance.

1. I've already asked a request for extension sa CO namin. Kasi processing of the Japan Police Clearance would take up to 2 months. 7 days have passed pero wala paring reply. Can you suggest other methods on how to follow up our CO? We contacted her through email. (Yung domain ng email ay @border.gov.au)

2. Lahat ng ni-request na additional info ng CO (Japan Police Clearance, proof of spouse relationship, etc) through email attachment ba isesend? Or dapat iattach sa immi account?

Hi all
Anyone knows alternatives to get Japan Police Clearance if I have no ITA yet ?
I just want to gather this requirement very very early bec I read that it takes 2 months to get the Japan Police Clearance, and I believe ITA submission of requirements is only 60 days ? Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

@hida_berserker kailangan po talaga ng request... Nung pumunta ako last time sa embassy sa pasay (Dec. 2017), hiningan ako ng checklist yun yung nakaattach pag na CO contact ka... saken lang naman just in case hingan ako ni CO ng Japan PCC dahil 11+ months ako nakapagstay sa Japan pero ayun.... salamat at di na ako hiningan... mahirap kasi sa case ko nasa middle east ako... So, pinakabest option mo is to wait for CO asking you the PCC from Japan.. Goodluck po sa application nyo...

hello po sa lahat. more than a year na ung last post dito. sana may makapansin po ng inquiry ko. I just finished processing my Japan PCC due to CO contact. I've read from this thread at sabi din ng manong guard sa Japan Embassy na ung Japan PCC is naka sealed. Accdg sa thread, they emailed their CO and ask if ok to open before they open the Japan PCC, scan, then attach to immiaccount. Kaso po sa case ko ung instruction ng CO is to attach it to immiaccount and don't send email to them. Pano ko po kaya maitatanong kung pwede ko ba maiopen ung sealed PCC? kung i-aattach ko naman ung inquiry ko sa immiaccount not sure po kasi ako kung magrereply si CO dun. Kindly assist to share your input. Thank you very much in advance. all the best po sa ating AU journey.

Hello everyone, update ko lang ung thread na ito to share my Japan PCC journey (Pinas based procedure). In my case, I got CO contact and required me to produce my Japan PCC.

1) ITA is a must to be presented at Japan Embassy
2) Officer at the Japan Embassy will provide you with Fingerprinting Card which you need to accomplish at Camp Crame (therefore better be at the embassy early as the whole process will take almost 1 whole day)
3) Have your fingerprint at Camp Crame
4) Submit the fingerprint card back to Japan Embassy
5) Japan Embassy will provide you with "Exchange Slip" = Confirmation Slip which states that waiting time will be between 2-3months.
6) Combine Japan PCC Exchange Slip with Cover Letter into 1 pdf file and upload in your immiaccount. Your cover letter shall explain why you can't upload the required PCC. This is to notify the case officer that the required Japan PCC is already in progress. Note: Do NOT click the "I confirm" button at this stage!!!
7) You will receive a call from the Japan Embassy when the PCC is ready for pickup. Mine took almost 7 weeks waiting time.
8) Present your Exchange Slip when you pickup your Japan PCC at the Embassy
9) They will provide you with hard copy PCC enclosed in a "sealed" envelope
10) In my case, I don't have access to email address of my Case Officer to inquire what to do with the "sealed" envelope. Hence, I just opened the envelop and scan the Japan PCC with Cover Letter. Then upload to immiaccount. At this stage, click the " I Confirm" button.

Thanks pero eto i found out na kelanangan nga ng official reason for requesting it, so kahit andito pa ko pero wala pang invite, parang di ako pwedeng mag request.

I was just thinking na kapag current resident, hindi pa need ng reason (such as ITA) to request it. sigh.

I was just thinking na kapag current resident, hindi pa need ng reason (such as ITA) to request it. sigh.

Baka for any reason pede ka mag ask, hehe find other reason na lang since anjan k na. Same samin sa SG, di din pwde kuha anytime na gusto mo, antayin pa approval para saan based sa evidence na pinasa namin.
