This information explains what you need to do to apply for an Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186).
When to apply:
You can apply when your employer lodges their nomination, or you can apply afterwards.
You must apply less than six months after we approve the nomination.
If you are 18 years of age or older, you must sign an Australian values statement to confirm that you will respect the Australian way of life and obey Australian laws. The statement is included in the visa application form. You must have read, or had explained to you, the Life in Australia book beforehand.
Prepare your documents
You need to provide documents to prove the claims you make in the application. The documents are listed in the Document checklist.
Some documents could take some time to obtain. You should have them ready when you lodge the application to reduce any delays in processing.
Lodge your application online
You must apply for this visa online. More information is available in Employer Sponsored (ENS/RSMS) visa online applications.
You must provide all relevant documents and pay the visa application charge by credit card when you apply.
Upload your documents using your ImmiAccount when you lodge your online application. This will help reduce delays in processing the application.
More information
There is more information to help you prepare your application, such as certifying and translating documents into English, communicating with us, using a migration agent, authorising another person to receive information from us, and receiving assistance with your application.
-----------
I think kahina-hinala na kailangan mong magemail diretso sa Immigration.. Yung email ng CO ko sa Pinas last year ang gamit @dfat.gov.au. Yung Immigration website, immi.gov.au
So kung .com yung dulo, malamang hindi yun from Department of Immigration and Border Protection, or any official AU government website for that matter.
-----
try checking http://www.immi.gov.au/Help/Pages/fraud/migration-fraud-scams.aspx
----
anyway, it's still good to ask others or start a new thread.

I'm new here. The company that I have been working for (i am working from home here in PH) more than a year would now like to sponsor me a 457 visa so I could work permanently in their head office in Brisbane.
My question is, okay na po ba yung offer na 70K AUD+superannuation na salary for IT (web developer) sa Brisbane? I was expecting at least 90K for this position esp. since I have more than 8 year work experience already. I tried to negotiate, but my employer said I could reach that salary level daw naman after a year or 2...what do you think?
Also, hindi din daw nila covered yung plane ticket ko and yung accomdation ko once I arrive in AU. I was actually expecting na they will shoulder the travel cost and yung one month accommodation ko pagdating don.. ganoon kasi yung ibang mga kilala ko na andon na...
How about you guys, kayo din ba nag-shoulder ng plane ticket nyo? ok lang kaya i-negotiate ko pa yung travel cost?
TIA

Ang sagot lang ng employer ko ay sponsorship/nomination fee. Everything else, ako na. Pati visa fee which is napakamahal. Haha.
I heard from a friend (IT din like you), sinagot ng employer niya yung 1 month accommodation niya. I think may mga companies na ganun. Iba iba lang siguro talaga.

Medyo risky ang pumunta sa AU on visitor visa na maghahanap ka ng work. Baka ma Border and Security TV ka pa.

it really depends on your lifestyle and expenses some would say 70k annually is enough and some would say its not enough. Better have a research or check on the other thread regarding cost of living.
Things to consider;
house rental (or room for rent ka lang) = house rent would range from 350/week and up
electricity = every 2 months 100 and up
mobile and home internet = 115 per month and up
transpo day to day
food and other expenses
You can negotiate to ur company to at least shoulder the plane ticket and give you at least two weeks or 1month accommodation. Take note looking for house to rent takes time and goes to application process.

Kaya lang, meron siyang ongoing na tourist visa and ppunta siya ng Australia ng August 18 for 3 weeks. Question is, makakaapekto ba un sa 457 na application nia? dapat ba nasa Pilipinas siya during the application until lumabas yung result?
Thank you.

"You can be in or outside Australia when you lodge your application."

pero nung on-going po ung 457 lodgement ko, my immig agent advised me to hold off any plans to go to Australia until lumabas ung result. so ayun sumunod na lng ako, trusting na mas maalam si agent kesa sakin..

I'm 25 yrs old na po and planning to work in Australia hopefully this year or kahit next year (sorry di ko kasi alam kung gaano katagal makakuha ng VISA). I have more than 4yrs experience as a .Net Developer or Programmer to be specific.
Questions ko po
