Im working as technician here pero related sa course ko ang job, may nabasa kasi ako sa thread na to na mga eng grad din na tchnicians ang xperience at positive naman ang results. Kaya Im hopeful. Yaan mo mailusot din yang TRA nyo.. be positive lang tayo.. Claim natin yan! Goodluck sa evaluation nyo and salamat sa mga answers!!!

May isa pa po akong tanong, na mail na kc yong COE ng previous company pero yong job description ay separate na paper, may kasama pang required competency na one page din. Yong COE mismo length of service lang at job title ang nakalagay. Same naman ang job title ng job description, pareho silang may letter head ng company, pero ang signed ng HR ay yong COE lang. Ok na ba yong JD na yon? TIA.

@Megger mas maganda mag request ka sa bank. kc pde mo irequest na lagyan nila ng bank stamp & signature ng manager. 25 dhs lng mag request sa bank lahat na un ksma na ang stamp. para hindi ka na magpa CTC un na mismo ibigay mo sa assessment. kahit pa buong 1 year ung hingin mo na may stamp.

note: pag request mo sa bank sabihin mo na rin na need mo ng stamp & signature.

Need ba ng 60 points sa TRA kasi hindi need ng language test, mataas kasi nakuha ng husband ko sa IELTS, kaya pwede sya maka claim ng 20 pts? Or sa Visa processing na ito. Kapag malayo po ba yung degree na tinapos (section 1 school) sa employment/work experience negative agad? BA ang husband ko but since nasa linya ng engineering ang business ng in law ko, dito kami naka employ. Student Visa talaga kami originally kaya lang medyo nagdadalawang isip ako na dito na lang kasi permanent na ito. Salamat!

@bachuchay Hi, sorry bago lang ako dito. paano ba malalaman kung ano Sec ang school? may outcome na ba ang PTA mo sa vetassess? AQF cert III ang assessment sakin ng TRA, kailangan ko pa ng 5points para maka-60 kaya balak ko rin magpa-PTA sa Vetassess. salamat

Just want to give some information for those vocational/technical school graduates like me. I just received my skills assessment and it turned out unsuccessful on the grounds that 1st, my occupation which was 342315: Electronic Instrument Trades Person (special class) is supposed to be AQF IV but my course Instrumentation and control is deemed as AQF 3. Medyo double standards sila dito. If you guys scrolled back in this thread, @ynnozki had the same nominated occupation 342315 BUT according to his rejection letter, the minimum requirement is supposed to be certificate III in instrumentation and control which was different in my case. It is also stated in the DIBP website that the occupation would require an AQF 3 plus 2 years work experience or an AQF 4.

The other rejection reason was because they couldn't verify my school if it had a government quality assurance accreditation. In other words, the technical school's program should be within TESDA guidelines which is the institution that approves vocational trainings. I called up my school if I could have a copy of all the ISO certification and TESDA accreditation and they said they'd gladly help. But it does come with a price, the TRA review would be another 900 AUD plus I still have the first problem which was the certificate 3 and 4 confusion. Ngayon po, I'm trying to compose myself and see what else I could do, I already replied through email and I'm trying to look for an agent who specializes on trade assessment in the Philippines.

I'm not trying to scare anyone here, but hopefully you guys can do better.

this is also my dilemma, Tech/Voc ( Diploma ) grad din ako pero tinuloy ko ng BS Engineering Technology thru ETEAAP ( degree ). Yung Tech/Voc school ko eh inde ko malaman kung TESDA or CHED accredited, yung sa BS Eng Tech eh CHED and state university.. any inputs/ideas guys?

@paulcasablanca1980 After sending another application but this time under occupation 342314 electronic instrument tradesperson - General, i got a positive assessment and have already filed for EOI with 60 points.

I graduated in 2004 but our previous government accreditation for my course was from the Ministry of Education in 1986 (under parliamentary pala tayo nung time na yun). It carried over up until I graduated but our regulating body was already TESDA that time but no formal TESDA re-accreditation, parang pinasa lang kami from DepED to TESDA . The school had to send a list of students who graduated in any course to TESDA. Also in 2006, there was the Unified Tvet Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS) introduced by TESDA. Technical schools had to register their existing programs/courses and TESDA would give them a Certificate Of Program Registration. I sent all the 3 documents, 1986 government accreditation, 2004 graduation list to TESDA and the Certificate of Program Registration in 2006 on top of the other requirements TRA wanted.

Kung makakakuha ka niyan, mas okay. It worked for me. Kapag may tanong ka pa, fire away.

@Adamantium, ayos itong bagong info/update sayo, magkatugma yung mga kaso natin at ni @ynnozki.. yung sa mga links na binigay mo, inisa-isa ko yung mga courses na andun versus kung ano ung nasa TOR ko, some are identical or meron similarity ( Power Electronics, PLC, Industrial Motor Controls , etc ) but in the end, depende pa rin sa pag match nila. Dinobol check ko ulit Diploma ko, nakalagay eh " as prescribed by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority ..." at nakapirma din ang Regional Director ng TESDA that time, then nag gu google ako ng mga accredited school / registered program sa TESDA, buti at andun ung school at course ko ( 2 Years Electromech Tech Program ). Those 3 docs na binigay sayo eh, requested from your school or direct sa TESDA?

@paulcasablanca1980 Sa school ko lahat nakuha yung papers. Madali pa yang sayo kasi matratrack nila yung school at course mo, sa kaso ko wala yung pangalan ng school mismo sa Tesda kasi yung organization name ang nakalagay at hindi name ng school. I asked the board of directors for the change of name documents, binigay naman nila.

Pati yung course ko wala kasi ang mga nakalagay lang sa TESDA website ay yung mga WTR (With Training Regulation) and my course was classified as NTR (No Training Regulation). My course wasn't covered yet by UPTRAS. The Certificate of Program Registration from TESDA clearly distinguish what type your course is. I had to do all the research para lang masatisfy yung TRA guideline na dapat may government accreditation and school before getting the qualifications.

Kung sumablay pa talaga eh mismo sa TESDA na ako kukuha ng letter stating na yung school ko noong 2004 ay accredited nila para mag conduct ng course ko.

@Adamantium, nagtuloy ka din ba ng engineering, ETEAAP? not sure kung may bearing ito sa TRA assessment, considering na degree sya but credited yung mga subjects.. iniisip ko kung isasama ko ito sa qualification ko ( Diploma 2yrs + Degree 2yrs ) then all work experiences na from semicon , 12 years cumulative bale C1=3yrs C2= 4yrs C3=5yrs, mga ilang points kaya yan kung sakali?

ETEAAP as per CHED " The ETEEAP is a comprehensive educational assessment program at the tertiary level that recognizes, accredits and gives equivalencies to knowledge, skills, attitudes and values gained by individuals from relevant work." 5 Years was set forth as the MINIMUM requirement, of relevant work experience from which the applicant aims to earn a degree.'

@paulcasablanca1980 hindi na ako nagtuloy sa engineering, saka na pag nasa OZ na hehe. Pero sa case mo, pwede ka magpa assess ng education sa vetasses. This has been done before by @bachuchay. kung ang ETEAAP ay macoconsider nila as bachelors degree that would be an additional 5 points sayo. Nominated occupation assessed by TRA, but highest qualification assessed by VETASSES. It seems that Educational points are independent from work experience points in your nominated occupation. For example, you got 2 qualifications, a PhD in Teaching from a class 1 school and a certificate III in technology and 8 years work experience as a technician. You can get 20 points for education (if assessed by the authorized body as equal to an OZ PhD) and 15 points for work experience after a positive assessment from TRA of your cert III.

Hello po, magtatanong lang po sana ako regarding sa TRA assessment kung sino na nakapag try. Ang qualification ko po ay BS commerce pero nag pa assess ako dati sa ACS with my CCNP certificate since I have 6years desktop support and 3 yrs network engineer exp / work history but sad to say di ako nabigyan ng positive outcome sa ICT263111 Computer Network and Systems Engr. Now I am planning to apply for ICT313112 customer support officer under TRA using my CCNP as my qualification, will TRA honor my qualification since sa ACS, my CCNP is considered as AQF diploma major in computing. pa advise po thanks.
To add on, necessary po ba na mag subimit ng payslip or ITR every year ng iclaclaim na work history? Maraming salamat po.

@paulcasablanca1980 Hi sana matulungan mo ko .Ask ko lang kasi nalilito ako my nominated skill is machinist (first class) nasa trade occupation list cya.Ask lang kung anung assessment gagawin ko. Migration skilled assessment ba or offshore skilled assessment. Ayaw ko kasi basta magpasa na lng then invalid pla sayang ang ibabayad ko.Sana matulungan nio ko.

@aldonny3, honestly, di ako expert tungkol sa process eh, hingi-hingi ng advise, basa-basa sa website ng TRA at mga experiences ng mga naging successful dito. Tama po, TRA ang pagpapasahan nyo ng mga documents nyo for skills assessment. Yung sa offshore skills assessment po not sure kung para saan sya..

Mukhang OSAP nga sir. Machinist din ako, pero Draftsman ang pina-assess ko. Wala sa main list ang draftsman kaya MSA lang kinuha ko.

@aldonny3 Metal Machinist (First Class) [323214] , Metal Fitters and Machinists (not elsewhere classified) [323299] , Metal Fabricator [322311] , Joiner [331213] if you're under one of these then you have to go for the Offshore Skills Assessment Program by TRA. if you choose 233914: Engineering Technologist then you have to go to Engineers Australia. If 312512: Mechanical Engineering Technician then this is under Migrations Skills Assessment by TRA BUT this is not in the SOL so you have to go for state sponsorship via Adelaide or Hobart as of this moment and may have special conditions before applying.

@tartakobsky Sir ask lng magkaiba ba ang ME technician at ang ME draftsperson?Kasi sa Adelaide nsa supplimentary skill list ang technician so needed 80 points or higher. Ang Draftsperson nmn ay nsa main list.80 points is hard to achieve unless may relatives sa adelaide.In your panu po ang ginawa nio?

Hi sir, yes magkaiba po. EA po yata assessing body sa ME Draftsperson. TRA naman sa ME Technician. Mixed technician and drafting ang job ko kaya eligible sa 312512. Noong 2013 nasa list pa ng SA ang 312512 kaya eligible pa po for 190 with 60pts. With positive skills assessment from TRA, na-approve naman po. Kaso from 2014 naalis yata sa main list ng SA ang 312512. Pero ang machinist, lahat ng state mayroon, at saka eligible din yata kahit 189.
