Graduate po ko ng Electronics Eng Tech (3yrs) plus BS Industrial Eng'g thru ETEEAP.

@vhenzchico yung TRA kse binigyan ng power ang vetassess to do assessment in some skilled work, ano ba nkalagay sa nominated skilled cno ba ang authorise mag assess? Kse like sa hubby ko metal fabricator may 3 choices sya tra, vetassess and victoria university, either of the 3 ok sya, so sa vetassess sya nag pa assess and when we do the lodgement of visa it was under TRA pa din, pag may certificate ka na and letter dun mkikita mo trade qualification australia ( tra) pa din sya ang nag assess lng vetassess

check mo lng kung pede vetassess sa nominated job mo or kung tra nman piliin mo walang kaso yun.

@leah28 a ok po.. ganun pla yun. in my case, vetassess ang nakalagay. Parang based sa mga nabasa ko kasi, mas mabilis TRA, tapos may nabasa pa ko na pag vetassess, need pa ng skype interview to confirm your technical know-hows...tsaka parang yung last 5yrs work exp lang ia-assess ng vetassess.

@vhenzchico c hubby ko more or less 3 months inabot taz technical interview kse pinapili sya bet technical interview or practical, since dito kmi melbourne he do it face to face interview, pag offshore ka skype nga daw, theres nothing to worry nman sa interview fircas long na familiar ka at ginagawa mo tlaga yang nomibated skill maipapasa mo yan

wala ako idea sa kung mas mbilis ba processing ng tra

@leah28 Thanks. Based sa research ko, dapat pla ay Electronics Eng'g Technician ang nominated skill ko..which is CSOL. Although pwede rin naman yung electronics trades worker, pero mas in-line sa trabaho ko yung elex eng tech. TRA ang mag-a-assess saken if ever. Start plang ako mag complete ng requirements para makapagpa-assess..

This was published in November of 2013 so yung mga dating applications had an easier time of passing the assessment before the change.

I applied Electronic Instrument Trades Worker (Special Class) - 342315 in my first application, but they said that I am only comparable to a cert III and not a cert IV. Pero hindi ito talaga ang reason ng rejection ko, I got rejected kasi nga hindi nila makita yung school ko. Pwede naman kasi nila ako bigyan ng positive assessment sa Electronic Instrument Trades Worker (General) - 342314 kahit hindi yan and nominated occupation ko which only needs a cert III qualification. I applied again under 342314 with additional info from my school then I got approved.

And yung Electronic Instrument Trades Worker (Special Class/General) ay more into instrumentation, automation, PLC, pneumatics and hydraulics. Kung meron ka niyan sa pinag aralan mo eh pwede ka dito.

@Adamantium Thanks for that info sir. Actually ang meron lang ako ay Electronics and Instrumentation-related subject. More on Electronics and Communications talaga.. So I guess electronics eng tech talaga ko classified..

Verify ko lang po mga sir/maam... Sa application po ng TRA, di po kailangan pa ng Certificate of Employment 'no? Employment statement lang in own words signed by direct superior? o need po ba HR manager magsa-sign? Kaka-resign ko pa lang po kasi sa job ko (11 yrs po ko dun) and I'm still finishing my clearance. After nun, 45-60days pa kasi ang processing bago ko makuha yung final certificate of employment ko. Eh need ko na po magpa-assess na.. (medium availability na po kasi ang electronics eng'g tech., baka bumaba pa,hehehe).
Pde pong sa direct supervisor ko na ipasign ang statement?
I-aattach ko rin po sana yung mga naipon ko na certificate of employment all through the years ko dun sa former company ko. May weight rin po kaya yun sa assessment nila?
Need po ba payslip for every yr na ike-claim?

@vhenzchico, as per my understanding , ang COE ay supplementary evidence/ proof for Employment Statement, kung nabasa nyo na yung guideline, wala yung " Certificate of Employment " term dun, instead Employment Statement ang nire-require, usually ang content ng COE is general at napaka ikli, whereas sa employment statement, dun mo mas maibigay yung full description kung ano duties and responsibilities mo ( tools / instruments used, machine handled etc ) and finally yung reference mo which is either HR, Manager, supervisor, basta mas mataas sayo ang position ang pipirma.. In my case, i had submitted COE(generic)/Employment Statement/Tax Returns/Salary-Performance Review/Konting company training certs dito sa current company ko. Need mo ma meet yung atleast 3 years working experience na related sa occupation na i nominate mo.

For previous employments, dito medyo hassle kasi, either wala or kulang mga docs mo, as per guideline ulit, need mo gumawa ng statutory declaration plus kung ano man ang meron
ka ( ilang pirasong payslip, ITR, appraisal, SSS or Pag-Ibig contribution etc ).

Kung kumpleto mas maganda, kung kulang talaga, no choice but to submit pa rin. This info are based sa mga kaibigan natin na successfully na grant na ang visa. I am now waiting for the assessment result, hopefully successful

@paulcasablanca1980 thank you sir... so keri na rin siguro kung wala man ako mai-submit na updated COE...basta ayos ang pagkakagawa ko ng statement...sa payslip lang ako medyo kulang kasi on the latter yrs, paperless na payslip namin, wala nang print-out na binibigay...viewable na lang sya thru intranet.
Sama ko na rin cguro yung mga contributions sa pag-ibig/sss/philhealth etc.

Hi po. Ask ko lang po regarding sa CTC, kasi ang ginawa ng lawyer ay notaryo po so walang nakastamp na certified true copy pero may seal naman ang signature etc... at yong sworn statement. Acceptable din ba ito? Thanks po..

1.14.1 Certified documents
Original documents must not be sent to TRA. All documents in support of your
application must be certified copies of original documents.
A certified copy is a true copy of an original document that has been seen and
certified by a person listed on the Australian Attorney-General’s website or a
registered migration agent and annotated as follows:

‘I certify that I have sighted the original document and this is a true copy of it.’

This certification must be made on a copy of the original documentation and include
the certifier’s name, title and registration number (where applicable), their original
signature and the date. Copies of signatures will not be acceptable.

If a document has multiple pages, the first page must include the signature and date
of the certifier, as well as the total number of pages of the document. Every page in
the document must have the original initial of the certifier and the date.
If you have documents certified in Australia, TRA will only accept documents certified
by an Australian registered migration agent or people who are listed in Schedule 2 of

Ask ko lang po kung pano ko po ilalagay sa TRA application form ang educ attainment ko. Graduate po kasi ako ng BS Industrial Eng, tsaka Electronics Eng Tech. Pero ang ipapa-assess ko po kasi ay yung electronics, yun po kasi ang relevant sa nominated occupation ko at sa job ko (electronics instru trades person-general).
Question ko po:
1.) I-iinclude ko pa po ba yung BSIE ko na course?
2.) Considered as vocational trng po ba yung electronics eng tech ko?
Eto po yung para sa part 4 ng assessment form...
Sana po matulungan nyo ko...

- ano po ba difference ng special class at general class na electronic instrument tradesworker? parang almost the same lang po kasi...

-kung may degree po ako pero not closely related sa nominated occupation ko, icoconsider po ba nila? (btw, graduate po kasi ako ng electronics engg tech taz nag-eteeap po ako, BSIE naman po kinuha ko dun...)

-maintenance tech po ako sa semicon for 11 yrs, tama po bang 342314 ang inominate ko?

Hi po. Ask ko lang po kung ok lang ba ipadala ang original docs, so di na kailangan ng CTC meron kasi akong mga docs na may validity expiration at wala nang sense kung i keep ko pa. Thanks po.

@vhenzchico - 342314 and 342315 are almost identical BUT in General, you just need to be assessed against an AQF III qualification whereas in Special you have to be assessed a grade higher which is an AQF IV. You can read this information on the website under MSA FAQs. This however is just minor as TRA would give you an occupation closely related to your experience and qualifications. The words "closely related" is the key here though. I got rejected for 342315 first then I got approved when I went for 342314 but this doesn't mean I would've passed if I went for 342314 on my first application either.

TRA assesses 2 stages, the first one and the most crucial is the educational qualifications part and the work experience. Here is where I failed the first time. It's not because of my college subjects though but because they could not find my school's credentials. I assumed that because of the $1000 dollar that they can just do a simple google search and link my school to TESDA but I guess I was wrong hehe. So here's a tip, check your school, your course in the tesda website, if it's not in there, then get your school's credentials and include it in your application if you have to.

Now with regards to subjects for the 2 occupations, you should have instrumentation, pneumatics/hydraulics, plc, hmi, measurement and sensors technology, electrical machines, motor controls in your course syllabus to be considered in these trades. Hope this helps.

Wow. Thank you for the time explaining that to me sir @adamantium. Sa school, Im quite confident that it will be ok since it is a state univ (Technological Univ of Phils.-Taguig).

As for the subjects, I do not have all these

I only have instrumentation, electronics, measurements, electrical, microprocessors). No particular subject for these though: Motor controls, pneumatics, plc and sensors but Im pretty sure they were discussed and included on certain subjects we had, especially the electronics subjects. Parang, may mga certain chapter dun sa subject namin na about sa mga ito. My course is Electronics Engineering technology, btw.

Almost complete na po ko sa requirements...just mustering the confidence to submit my credentials for assessment. Sa mga info nyo po ako humuhugot ng lakas ng loob...hehehe... Hirap din kasi sumugal nang di sigurado...1000 AuD din yun..

Sir isa pa po Im so close to submitting, wla kasing binibigay na job description sa COE ko sa current company, pero sa website, may posting ng hiring at nandun lahat yong title, job description, at qualification. Pwed ko po bang i print ang webpage na yon tapos pa sign sa boss ko. Willing naman po ang boss ko magsign. TIA and God bless po.

@Megger , yung employment statement ko lahat ako gumawa, kinuha ko lang din sa generic job description ng position ko tapos nag add ako ng tools at instruments na ginagamit ko, equipment na nirerepair ko, ilang oras ang trabaho ko per week, tapos pinaprint ko sa letterhead ng company namin at pina sign sa boss ko na may contact number niya pa. May separate ako na COE na galing naman ng HR, employment start at salary naman nandun. Nasa TRA guidelines yan 2.8.6:

2.8.6 Employment as an employee
For each period of employment you are claiming as an employee, you must provide
an employment statement.
Every employment statement must be signed by a person authorised to make the
statement. This person may have been your employer or a direct supervisor.
Every employment statement provided to TRA must be unique and include:
 the name of the business
 the nature of the business (for example, construction company, hotel)
 a description/overview of business and the services/products provided by the
business
 the address of business where you worked
 when you worked there, that is start date and end date of your employment
 the nature of your employment (full-time, part-time)
 your normal hours of work
 your job title (occupation)
 a detailed description of the nature and content of the work you undertook
 a detailed description of the machines, tools and/or equipment you used
 the name, position, telephone and email contact details of the person
authorised to make and sign the statement
 the length of time that the person signing the statement has been supervising
you must also be clearly indicated.
All employment statements must be signed and dated, and on letterhead used by the
employer’s business where possible. If you are unable to provide employment
statements on letterhead you must provide us with an explanation of why this is not
possible.

@adamantium thank you very much. Sir sobrang detailed pala. I can manage to do that with my current COE, pero yung galing Pinas ang nandun lang ay dates of employment, job title, salary, summary of what I am doing( bale naka bullet yong mga tasks ko) signed by HR. Not mentioned yong hours of work, tools used. Tapos ang supporting docs ko ay SSS contribution (2 docs isang annual summary, at detailed monthly contribution) signed ng sss officer with contact number, name and position ng signee. May ITR din sa isang company. Bale 3 companies kasi yong pa assess ko 9 years na total nun. 2 of those ay galing Pinas with the details I mentioned. La narin akong mahanap na payslip dun sa Pinas. Sir will this docs be fine? Also sir yong number of years na working together naka type talaga yon sa doc? kasi sobrang customize ata yong requirement na JD. God bless po sa lahat.

@Megger Sa pagbasa-basa ko dito, isa sa natutunan ko is, do your best na mai-relate mo sa nominated occupation mo yung job description mo sa employment statement na gagawin mo. Yun tipong malapit talaga sya sa description ng nominated occupation mo. so essential talaga yung mga equipment and tools na ginagamit mo sa work, kasi parang kino-consider din nila yun e...
As for the educational background naman, base sa sinabi ni sir @adamantium, importante yung credential ng school and of course, yung mga subjects na kinuha mo na dapat ay related sa nominated job mo, kaya nga humihingi sila ng detailed subject description (course syllabus).
Lapit na rin ako magsubmit, antay ko na lang release ng course syllabus fr my 2 schools.
Target ko before mag-end ng October e mai-submit ko na.
Lahat nga ng pede ko isama, isasama ko na, hehehe. Sana magkasabay tayo.. hehe.
Ano nga pala nominated job mo?

Sir @adamantium matanong ko lang po, incomplete kasi ITR ko, naiwala ko yung mga previous years (2004-2007). Pede kaya isubmit ko na lang po yung SSS/Pag-ibig/Philhealth contributions in place nung mga years na wala akong ITR?

@vhenzchico. Electrical Engineering Techn ang nominated ko. Im thinking of ways now paano ako makaproduce ng docs which will show the details na nabanggit ni @adamantium sa COE ko galing Pinas. In "my opinion" yong mga COE ko is telling same story wrt experience, yon nga lang la yong mga details like tools, although its mentioned na sa JD ko sa current company, and signed already, ctc nalang. Yong sa TOR namn may course description na. Im just gathering confidence to submit kc may kulang dun sa COE ko from Philippines wrt the list. BSEE yong course ko at may PRC license ako. Puro equipment maintenance yong experience ko at halo halo kaya sa 312312 yong I think nag fit ako. Baka sabay tayo, any suggestion po dito how I can fill the gap between my Phil COE and the list? Wala akong makuhang pipirma na boss ko, at walang makuhanan ng letterhead, 6 years passed frm last Phil employment.

@Megger, suggestion ko lang, since inde ka makapag produce ng ES na nasa letterhead, either gumawa ka ng statutory declaration, explain why inde ka maka bigay nun, support it with COE/ITR/SSS/Payslip any proof you have or you need to find some of your former colleagues na mataas position from that company, if wala na sila dun, indicate na lang sa ES kung anong year kayo magkasama/under supervision ka nya, then complete current contact details nya..

@paulcasablanca1980 a, ok po.. so nasa right track pala ko..ganun din kasi balak ko... SSS and/or Pag-ibig contribution na lang ipapasa ko para dun sa mga walang ITR na years. so ok na yung print-out lang galing sa website? no need na papirmahan sa kung sinong SSS officer?
Btw, mahirap ba exam sa PTE? balak ko rin kasi mag-PTE instead na IELTS. Based on backreads, mas lenient daw ang scoring dun e..
