"Your Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Pamantasan Ng Lungsod Ng Maynila
completed October 2002 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Associate Degree with a major in computing."
Nabawasan tuloy ako ng 5 years of experience.
"The following employment after October 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 263299 (ICT Support and Test Engineers nec) of the ANZSCO Code.
Dates: 06/05 - 10/15 (10yrs 4mths)"
1. I-appeal ko ba ito?
2. Pag nag-submit ba ako ng EOI, dapat ba indicate ko na start ng employement ko is October 2010 based sa skills assessment ko or June 2005 na actual start ko sa current employer ko?
Thanks sa mag-reply!

To answer one of your questions:
1. You can appeal, of course. Pero check mo na rin kung hindi naman ganun kawalan if you decide not to appeal. I'm assuming you're still working so by the end of November, you will have had 5 years na pwedeng icount as skilled employment, which will give you 10 points. Given this, how many points will you have in total na?

My points so far per my submitted EOI:
• Age 33 - 39 - 25 pts
• English Language Ability: Competent - 0 pts
• Level of educational qualification attained
At least a Bachelor Degree - 15 pts (Associate degree lang nasa ACS skills assessment ko, should I still choose Bachelor of Degree in Science sa EOI or Graduate or Advanced Diploma lang? Confused here...)
• State/Territory Nomination - 5 pts (I selected Queensland since meron akong acquaintances dun)
• Years of experience in Nominated Occupation in Australia within the last 10 years.
Less than 1 Year - 0 pts
Years of experience in a Nominated Occupation - overseas within the last 10 years.
Equal to or greater than 8 Years - 15 pts (nag-base ako sa actual date of employment ko, and not according sa date na Skill Level Requirement Met Date ko which is October 2010).
TOTAL 60
Should I revise my EOI to base my work experience and educational qualification on what is written in my skills assessment? Thanks!

*The following employment after July 2005 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261311 (Analyst Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.
When we submitted the EOI ang start ng work experience na nilagay nya is August 2005 since hindi na counted yung deducted years of work experience.
Then sa educational attainment is yung nakalagay rin dun sa assessment.
*Your Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from XXXXXX completed April 2000 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing.

pwede ko po ba ito ipa-assess sa ACS if may COE ako from employer? may nakapag-try na po ba sa inyo magpaassess ng part time online job?
salamat po.

I'm a newbie here.
Skill to nominate : Developer Programmer
Employment Reference:
1. Current Company (Singapore)
* 3 yrs ako nag work dito (2yrs 6mos as Dev, 6mos as Func(current))
* na retrench ako sa current company ko. My end date will be Nov 30.
* yung boss ko for the Dev role , na retrench din. nauna pa sya umalis ng company.
* yung current manager ko, 6mos lang nya ako nahandle tapos Functional role pa which I think is not that related to the Skill to nominate ko.
* I requested for a COE with Duties & Resp sa HR, pero di daw sila nag pprovide ng ganung format. Normal COE lang daw.
*** Now, my dilemma..sino ang hihingan ko ng Employment Reference?
a. Previous Boss (Dev) - do i need to have this notarised? any important notes in doing this?
b. Current Boss (Func) - should I ask him to give me the employment reference? If yes, should I include the previous Duties & Resp kahit ndi naman sya ang manager ko dati?
2. Previous Company (Singapore)
So I think pwede naman ako dun humingi ng employment reference. Or do I need to get the hardcopy from them? If I just printed the soft copy, do we need to have it notarised as well?
COE
1. Current Company (Singapore) - Since na retrench nga ako, nabigyan na nila ako ng COE stating my hire date and ung last day ko which is Nov 30 and they also mentioned the reason why they are letting me go (*sniff). Though nag rereport pa rin ako sa work. Kailangan ko ba humingi ng panibago COE or ok na to?
2. Previous Company (Singapore, Philippines) - I have the COEs from my previous companies. Do I need to get new COEs (as of current date) or ok lang na ung employment reference nalang ung present date tapos ung COE ung luma?
NOTARY
Same po ba to ng statutory declaration?
God Bless!

1. Mas maganda kung yung yung boss mo sa dev role ang mahingan mo ng statutory declaration for your job description as a developer, kung willing naman siya. What I did was ako yung gumawa ng statutory declaration on his behalf (since ako yung humihingi ng favor, and I know na busy yung manager ko to do it himself), tapos pinirmahan na lang niya, then humingi ako ng photocopy ng company ID and driving license niya at dinala ko yung stat dec with those photocopies sa isang notary public, at napapayag ko naman na tatakan nila yung stat dec kahit hindi physically present yung manager ko that time.
b. I dont think kailangan mo pa ng ER for your functional role, since hindi naman siya relevant sa nominated occupation mo.
COE:
1. Pwede na po yang existing COE mo.
2. Pwede na rin yung mga luma.
Notary:
All docs need to be certified by a NP as a true copy of the original, including passport bio page, university transcript/diploma, etc.
1.) Photocopy of originals, para macertify as true copies
2.) Stat declaration, which is sworn affidavit about something that you declare.

Ok lang din po ba pa-share ng stat declaration na ginawa mo? di ko pa kasi to nagagawa ever. para if madali lang naman, pwedeng ito nalang ang option then panotarize ko.
Thanks again in advance.

So now with my help, he has submitted a new application for the code 263111 and was able to obtain a COE na akma sa code na napili nya. I hope he will be able to get a positive ACS Assessment without any hiccups. We did go thru RPL route dahil as far as I know e hindi na kailangan.
