    Based sa experience namin under SVP kami, pwede naman kahit di Australian citizen ang sponsor like what we did, kahit friend pa nga yata as long as di ka under level 3 assessment kasi mahigpit talaga pag level 3. Thank God at approved naman ang student visa namin.

    Depende talaga sa CO di natin alam tumatakbo sa mga isip nila. Ako SVP ako pero di talaga nila tinanggap pinsan ko kahit citizen na sya ng new zealand

    @junamarika11 Hi! I'm bound for Sydney this month. When do you plan to leave for Sydney? I'll be with my husband too! I haven't tried CebuPac from Manila to Sydney yet. But I've tried Manila to Japan. We were forced to take the flight because it was Christmas season and the flights from other airlines were too expensive. By the way, what's your course?

    @appledeuce tama ka. tinawagan ako ng representative ng university ko yesterday Nov 30 to nominate between my agents (IDP or AMS). Prior to my bad experience, I would've chosen IDP talaga but assuming na may bad blood na between my 1st counselor and me (since i had to complain to a 2nd counselor.) I chose AMS na para hindi na kami awkward. Helpful din naman yung agent sa AMS and i felt more taken care of sa kanila. May response sa Emails and text messages compared to my 1st.

    Naawa nga din naman ako sa counselor ko sa IDP kaso hindi din nila ako na asikaso ng maayos eh. Imagine October 23 pa ako ng submit. Today is Dec 1. I went to AMS last Nov 27, and sabay na nila na forward yung application ko. :(

    But kahit back to step 1. Thankful na ako. When I checked my university website. I can track my application na. :)
    All is well that ends well. I wish you lots of patience while you wait hehe.

    @traveltart Thank you. Btw, same pala tayo. wanted to take up nursing kasi in demand but instead pursued a masters degree in line w/ my course para din maka full time work hubby ko and natakot din ako if masabit sa OC. :)

    Honestly, kahit Dec- January pa, medyo aware ako na mahaba pa yung time. Kaso may dilemma ako sa sponsor for my visa requirements. My father-in-law will sponsor us kasi and he works abroad. umuwi siya last November 2-28. I had him sign na the affidavit of support and in order to show proof/evidence, we need copies of his bank statements. We would've requested earlier however yung validity lang ng copies is within 3 days sa pag lodge na ng visa (if Im not mistaken). So we couldn't get copies ahead and he was about to leave na. When we called the bank, they initially said na they wouldn't allow an authorization letter to release the statements to me. So we personally went to the bank and told them our dilemma and they allowed us, but the dates that were considered was only up until his November statements kasi we were really expecting na end Nov. mag lodge.

    Kaya ako kulit ng kulit sa application ko sa IDP kasi October 23 pa ako nag submit, I was really hoping na by mid Nov. may offer letter na and by end of November makapag lodge na kami ng visa, but turned out on Nov 26, hindi pala na forward yung application namin so we waited for almost a month for nothing. :)

    Handa na kasi payment for tuition, medicals, etc. :) Offer letter nalang hinihintay namin to pay and get a COE.

    This time, positivity and prayers na lang nag push sa amin. Hoping na the bank manager might be able to extend our request in case mid-end December na kami makapag lodge. Or we hope sana by next week na lahat para in case hindi pa lumabas yung Dec. statements nya, wala na kami problema sa bank statements sana. :)


    This forum really helped us especially yung mga answers and feedbacks ninyo lahat. So thank you talaga!

    I just wanted to share my experience din sa iba para kapag may nakaka experience ng similar situation ko. Alam din nila anong pwedeng gawin :)

    As per advise ng friend ko, maganda na magpamedical na daw para just in case na may problem na makita, may time pa na maayos- basta make sure na 6months or lesser makapaglodge ka na application mo. Sign up ka lang sa immi tapos follow mo lang procedures dun sa My Heath Declaration :-)
