    Guys! I need help badly, I went to IDP Singapore kanina to inquire about schools, course etc. I am planning to take Bachelor of Nursing in La Trobe Uni for July 2016. Pero sabi nung agent na nakausap ko, baka daw hindi maapprove yung student visa since I am a Registered Nurse na sa pinas. Ang iniinsist nya saken is to take Masters in Nursing daw. I am unsure if it will lead me to AU RN, wala naman ako experience in Nursing kasi nasa call center field ako ngaun for about 5 years na in Singapore. Gustong gusto ko na bumalik sa field ko and I wanted to refresh my knowledge at the same time.

    One more thing, regarding financial sponsor, sabi nung agent my aunt in the US can sponsor me, pero according to my research dapat nasa Australia based ang aunt or uncle.. tama ba?

    Naguguluhan na talaga ako. HELP!

    Hello sis i will base my sharing with a friend's experience na nagstart dito with a different course then just recently she shifted to nursing. Ang kinuha nya ay one year nursing course at sa ngayon nag internship na siya sa austin hospital. We learned about her shifting of course kasi sya ung assisting nurse nong magsurgery c mrs just last month. I would rather ask you to check and consult with another agency or idp para free to gather more facts about it. Taking a masters course is good if may dependent kasi unlimited work rights cya but if you are alone, then medyo challenging kasi may kamahalan ang course mo (except when somebody is there to assist you re: food, accomodation and tf). On the query about your possible sponsor, if we follow the guidelines then hindi qualified ang aunt mo kasi she is outside of Oz (criteria is pr or citizen of Oz). Good luck though and God bless.

    @dinozor yes i have a friend na nag lodge noong june 20,2015 around 800k lng hiningi ng immi sa kanya kasi mababa daw exchange rate that time. aug na approve visa nya. 572 din sa kanya.

    @ashley123 tlga khit 800k lng. Ung sakin my coe n ko ng certificate 3 at 4 to diploma kya good for 2years agad apply ko for visa, kaya bka dobleng 800k ang hingin.

    @dinozor this is taken from the email sa friend ko when she was requested for additional docs.
    "You are required to show that either a minimum amount of AUD 22,876.53 or PhP 784,664.98 has been held by you, or by an acceptable individual who is providing support to you, for at least 3 months immediately before the date of the application."

    Question lang po i think irrelevant pero itanong ko na dn. May restrictions po ba with regards sa tattoo sa mga students na papunta pa lang or sa mga kahit temporary resident p lng??

    @dinozor oo nga. masaya ako meron din 572 gaya ko. still waiting for the response from the immi after sending them the requested docs last wednesday. Sana this meron ng possitive result ( praying hard). Nerve wreaking ang mag wait for the unknown hehehe!

    Hi everyone. I lodged my application nung December 7 and got the acknowledgement email from the Immigration nung December 11. Subclass 572 ako and I believe kumpleto naman lahat ng requirements ko. Diploma of Photoimaging ang course ko for Feb 2016 intake.

    Karamihan kasi ng mga post dito is 573 (SVP). Gusto ko lang sana malaman if may mga nakaexperience ng interview from the Embassy recently? Although prepared naman ako, kinakabahan lang talaga. Hehe. I was expecting na sana around January may decision na sa application ko. Mejo complicated kasi dahil may history ako ng refusal for student visa pero talagang pinipilit ko maging positive. Goodluck sating lahat!

    @marchbaby i don't think there will be a problem. But during the medical exam, hubby was asked if may tattoo sya. Maybe, there's an additional test if may tatoo? Not really sure.

I have a couple of tattoos and I actually had a new one nung nagpamedical ako - not ideal. :) Anyway, no additional tests for me, they just asked kung meron, where/how many and if it was old na. which I kinda lied - sorry. :) But all in all, okay lang talaga sya. so don't worry too much. :)

    NOV 16, 2015 - Went for my medical exam in NHSI
    NOV 23, 2015 - Submitted completed Visa application via IDP
    NOV 25 2015 - NHSI uploaded medical results to DIBP
    NOV 26, 2015 - Received acknowledgement from AU embassy
    DEC 09, 2015 - Visa grant!!! Yey!

    @traveltart Thank you po. Kinakabahan lang ako kasi baka hindi ako umabot. Feb1 ang start ng classes ko. Holidays pa naman so baka madelay delay pero hoping na around January may decision na talaga.
