    just an update sa timeline ko:

    23 Dec 2015 - visa acknowledged.
    04 Jan 2016 - advised for medical
    05 Jan 2016 - medical done (after 5 days daw ma submit ng clinic ang medical results sa australian embassy)
    12 Jan 2016 - today, 7 days na. i checked my emedical online, hindi pa na submit, chest xray 502 lang complete, pero incomplete medical 501 ko. worried ako kasi last 05 jan, mataas BP ko so sabi ni doc ipa ecg and crea nya ako additional exam. sabay naman daw ito malaman ang result within 5 days. pero until now walang tawag or text kung my problema ba. tawagan ko kaya ang nationwide? or do i let them do there job give them until tomorrow?

    baka itong health check ko lang nag papatagal ng visa ko.

    25 Jan - intake!!!

    hindi man ako na advise ng agency regarding extension or defer sa next intake. baka they expect makarating ako since naka medical nako..

    We have decided po ni Misis to proceed with her Student Visa Application.
    Meron na po kami offer of enrollment from Kings Institute, sa Sydney CBD lang ata yan. Master in Professional Accounting nya this July intake.
    We are processing on our own na po our Visa application here in Singapore.

    We plan na 3 of us sama baby namin sabay nalang pumunta jan then makikitira muna sa Sister in law ko who is also nasa Sydney.

    Hopefully Kuya Dan maka hanap agad ako ng Work dyan specially may baby.

    Medyo malaki na give-up namin sa Singapore, specially sa income but we are not stable kasi dito, we are looking nalang sa Long Term, at least jan pwede pa ma PR hopefully.

    thanks sa communication mo...i am based in melbourne though i have some friends in sydney...good luck sa application nyo at sana magiging reality na lahat ng dreams ninyo na hindi nyo nakamit while in Singapore. Masters ba kukunin ni wifey mo? at least one advantage sa iyo ay may sister in law ka sa sydney plus factor na yan sa iyo. Keep you guys in my prayers

    Hello, sorry this might be the wrong thread for my question pero tanong ko na din, If you will claim points for your work experience which is the same with your degree sa pinas (IT) then mag-aaral sa AU to get different degree (Healthcare), makakakuha ba ako ng additional points +5 for "One or more degree awarded by AU school and (+5) studying regional or low population?" kahit hindi same yun educational qualification (gained sa pnas) and awarded ng AU? May nakagawa na ba nito?

    hello kuya! di pa po pwede maka full time si hubby kasi nakalagay po ito sa bridging visa namin:

    "About your bridging visa
    This bridging visa is not in effect because your Student (Temporary) visa is currently in
    effect."

    Sa March pa po ma-expire yong student visa namin by the time na maexpire na yong student visa, our 485 will take into effect.. hintay2 lang po talaga ang peg namin ngayon.. Sana bukas na lalabas yong 485 namin kasi friday.. weeee!

    you can have points on Australian Study but somehow doon ka maiipit ngayon if ano yong gusto mong inominate sa EOI mo...since you cannot nomintae the two of them (IT vs. Health Care) therefore you can't claim points from the other for your PR application later on. Halimbawa if you pursue Healthcare as your nominated occupation then you can't gain points on overseas work experience re: IT field

    Hello bro/sis if you have the option to apply directly to skilled visa like 189 skilled independent visa then do it. Having a student visa as your pathway is such an expensive process (however) if there's none then do it. Try to check if you can make it at 55 points then apply for State Sponsorship pathway.
