    a) if your degree is CE and your current work is related to this.. then you can nominate that occupation.
    b) Please read the job description of the CE ANZSCO code... para mas malinaw kung anu ang hinahanap nila na skill..
    c) it doesnt matter kung resign kana sa company.. as long as you have proof, like cert of employment, with job description, signed by HR/Manager, and printed in company letterhead

    For CSOL/SOL
    - the main difference is SOL is used if your applying as independent (without state/relative sponsorship)
    - CSOL is for state/relative sponsorship... you can see the definiition on the first page of the SOL or CSOL..

    bro unsay FEA?..i don't know kung di ka graduate ng Mechanical engg or wala kang deploma kung pwede kang maases ng Ea as prof.engr kung ang pag babsehan mo ay ang cad experience however who knows baka pwede at maganda yang case mo na ma try...we'll wait for the responce of others...
    Secondly regarding sa ielts before we back 4 yrs pwede yan na certificate lang ang ipakita mo as evidence na english yung medium of instruction ewan klang ngayon kasi sa mga nababasa ko intended lang yan kung secondary applicant ka..meaning kung asawa mo ang primary/main applicant siya mag exam ng ielts....at kung secondary ka pwede na ang certificate....pero im not sure just wait for the responce of other...tsaka ilang taon ka na ba dyan i think bihasa kna sa english...?

    Reply to @benjie: Based on EA, their assessment for a professional engineer should have an Engineering academic qualification. Academic qualification is an Australian four year Bachelor of Engineering degree following twelve years of schooling, or equivalent.

    why would you want to be assessed as Mech Engr? Is it because that is the title of the job they want to hire you for? Maybe you can be assessed in other occupations.

    ang position that they offered me is Consultant FEA (Finite Element Analysis) Engineer.
    since im not eligible for ME then im wondering in what occupation will I be assessed of.

    sa subclass 457 exempted ka sa ielts if you have 5 years contnuous schooling where the medium of instruction and exam is in english.
    I am still 4 months here in NZ. i got my NZ work visa last week and at the same day i got an offer in australia perth.
    the reason why i cannot take the ielts is that all schedule fall on saturday and due to my religious convictions i cannot take a test on Saturday.

    Yup,it's true at dyan pumapasok yata ang vetasse,i mean kung graduate ka ng automotive pero yung line of work ay electrician then paasses ka sa vetasse,Sa engg side nman may mga nabasa ako na for example graduate ng Mechanical pero ang experience ay electrical pwede yan na paasses as an electrical engr(Prof engr),or mas mabuti basahin mo yung site ng australian inst of engr mayrong mga explanation doon kung anong engr dapat mafall ang isang applicant based in your experience baka makakuha ka ng ideya...
    -sa ielts,i really don't know kasi b4 sa fil.com.au mayron akong nabasa nas ganyan din ang status pero ni required pa rin ng immig to take ielts,,,cguro depende nman yan kung saang lugar ka maasign kung sa city or sa probinsiya or to make it sure if i am right wait ka na lang na maglodge ang employer mo ng visa sa yo at kung mag take ka ng ielts i aadvised ka ng employer mo based nman sa advice ng immigration..medyo magself study kna lang ng ielts for preparation.
    -regarding sa schedule you can write a letter to the ielts in new zealand and explaining your side baka makabigay sila ng advice para sa problem mo...

    NEC means- not elsewhere classified... so i guess if you are performing some kind of engineering job... MAYBE you can be assessed thru this job code..

    hi...just wanna take an advice:sa mga nandito na naging member ng aust.inst. of engrs...may sample po ba kayo on what to write in stat. of declaration para ma sign ng jp and i can submit to engrs australia para maging member ako..actually,just want to be a member para lang additional qualifications kung magapply ako ng ibang job dito sa aussie,but it does not matter for me kung hindi ko pa magamit ang pagiging enngr pansamantala....hope to hear you guys.

    hi po! CE po ako bago ko lng po nkuha ang visa ko subclass 475 regional sponsorship ng WA..saan po ba mganda mghanap ng work sa WA? pde po ako khit saan regions ng WA except po sa Perth..kung meron po na same case sakin pakishare po ng ideas nu..maraming salamat po! :)

    hi mga fellow engineers... im an ECE. im still waiting for my Qatar Police Clearance to finalize my application and hopefully ma grant agad visa ko once na secure ko na yon. ask lng po, how long will it take kya pra mgrant visa ko after submitting the final document? im also subclass 475 SS sa WA. @jonmichael...sir, san nyo plan mag reside? i think Bunbury is the closest na allowed tyo to live and work eh. when ang alis mo? if you are planning to move there, bka pwde maki share na dn sa titirhan. im still single so ill occupy one room na dn. hopefully, ma meet natin ang mga nand2 sa forum esp for those na nsa WA na... see u soon guys! thanks

    hi, newbie po ako dito sa site...i am frm sg. we are a family of 5, PR dito except the youngest son who's 10mos old lng. my hubby's senior EA sa isang multinational manufacturing company dito. im just wondering if theres a positive chance for us kun mag apply kami for migration? ive contacted 1 agent and positive nman ang reply nila (di kaya dhil sa potential fee nila frm us?) which will be costly. we are willing to take the risk nman ang worry lng ni husband, un chance nya sa application palang ba ng visa ngayon? inputs nman please. nakita ko rin sa ibang site, kelangan nya rin ng assessment frm engineering at pwede sya khit nga sa EA, tama ba. he is not an engr grad, but computer science pero almost 7yrs of experience nya na etong sa manufacturing...wala nman prob sa amin if we will start all over again sa ibang bansa nman kc...salamat po.

    Reply to @mcris: ok.. im not sure though kung pwede sya magpa-assess sa Engineers Australia.. since you mentioned hindi sya Engineering Graduate...

    You can check Engineer's Australia's website.. and check the requirements.. but as far as i know, kailangan engineering graduate to be able to assess by Engrs Australia..

    If this is not possible, maybe you can see other skill na pwede sa kanya, at sa ibang assessing authority..

    please check the ANZSCO code and the job description, kung malapit sa job description ng current work nya.. assessment is not solely based on Job title, but on detailed job description..

    1. yes, make sure you have the detailed job description together with your Cert of Employment.
    2. Yes IELTS is required by EA.
    3. If you did not graduate from their recognized schools, you need to do the Non-recognized qualification process which requires CDR (3 career episodes)...

    if both are CE, and you think okay nmn ang total points ng principal applicant, then hindi na kailangan magpa-assess/ielts nung secondary... if you decided na si husband ang principal.. check the total points based on skillselect point system..

    kung kialangan ng extra points, consider state sponsorship (5pts) and/or partner skill assessment (5pts)..

    Parang essay po ng 3 projects/specific tasks ang CDR to prove na related nga ang work exp, educ sa nominated skill na pinapa-assess nyo.. I suggest po.. read the manual from Engineers Australia.. nandun ang description ng lahat ng requirements at panu gawin ang CDR.

    @lock_code2004 kasi pinatanong ko dun sa kabilang thread nung school listing per aolee wala daw sa listing yung school. so yun.

    i have the copy of the booklet6. kahapon ko lang siya prinint so i will reread it. thanks.
    i did some research.. are you talking about the university in cabanatuan city, nueva ecija?
    if yes, then the reason why it is not in the list is because it's previously known as
    Pamantasan ng Araullo CABANATUAN CITY Section 3..

    If that is the same, then its a good news for you...

    Meron po ba tayong kababayan na telecom engineers sa SA? Sa ngayon, sa SA na lang ata highly in demand ito based on WASMOL pero pag nag try po ako mag search ng job sa seek.com.au, wala naman lumalabas na SA. Mostly Perth, Sydney, Melbourne.

    you're welcome.. the list is just classification of schools in the philippines.. it has nothing to do with EA assessment CDR or without CDR..

    EA assessment without CDR is only for graduates of universities from AU, or those accredited in Washington/Sydney Accord (full list of universities in EA website)..
    but for sure, hindi kasali ang mga universities sa philippines..
    so our assessment route is via CDR..
