@omeng22 how many months na ang baby mo? I gave birth June and was able to get a passport by October. I thought after 2 months available na sa NSO ang birth certificate buti na lang nag follow up ako sa hospital and city hall. You may do that as well para mas mapabilis. Bring the birth certificate copy given by the hospital when you go sa city hall.

@mariem 1 month palang po Mam, bali ganun na po gnwa namin, pagkalabas ng BC sa hospital, dinala na namin sa Local Civil Registrar to have it certified, tapos ngayon po nasa Phil Stat Authority na po for authentication, sadly minimum of 10 days yung authentication sa PSA, need kasi yun for passport application, yun po kasi yung pinaka mabilis na nakita naming way to apply my baby's passport, kasi matagal pa po talaga lumabas yung PSA/NSO birth certificate.

when getting a passport for newborn mabilis lang, no need na for appointment pumunta lang kayo ng maaga.

@mariem oo nga po mam, sana nga po makuha na namin agad, pra kung sakali baka mahabol pa dun sa 28days hehehe, although nag email and submit/front load na din kmi ng
form 1022 requesting extension para dun sa travel documents ni baby, pero wala pa reply si CO hehehe, yung sainyo po mam gaano po katagal bago nakuha yung passport ni baby? totoo ba na 7days lang makuha na pag rush?

@mariem saang DFA po kayo nag apply mam? kasi dun sa pampanga parang antagal, kasi yung sa wife ko regular processing more than 1 month inabot e, inaalala ko baka maging gnun din pag hindi dun sa DFA main nagapply. Salamat po sa tulong ninyo Mam!

@jrgongon yun ba yung sa ASEANA sir? Yun nga sana plan-A namin kung hindi namin maconfirm sa pampanga kung may rush processing. Nasa pampanga kasi ngayon baby ko e, pero naisip na din namin sadyain yung DFA aseana kung mapapabilis naman mga pag release ng passport ni baby

@omeng22 No need to go sa Aseana, sa DFA mega mall mabilis lang at may aircon pa hehehe... Around 30 minutes lang yata ang itinagal ko dun with the baby. Also they have rush processing then pwede mo na lang ipa courier para di na kayo kailangan bumalik to claim.
