One of my future dilemma. Mahirap din sa akin, kasi I actually want to bring in my TV, microwave, washing machine and fridge.. Looks like sa garage sale na lang sya mapunta.. Mahirap pala ang ganyang freight services.. So new life, new everything na lang ang peg sa Au.. Hehehe

Yup. Pero di ko pa napaghahandaan.. mag research ako ng freight services para sa mga boxes na yan.. kasi since wala pa ako address sa Au, hindi ko din alam kung san sya isesend hehehe

@iamjin: hi po! kumusta? nakapagpadala ka ba ng mga used shoes (like 10-15 shoes)? though if you'll check parang hindi naman used kasi super linis naman at with silica gel pa. hehehe. kasi we're planning to have it ship through box sa speedpost kasi bulky sya if icheck in namin kasi with boxes pa.

@markbarquin: hayz! yun lang ang problema. iniisip din nga namin na idala as check in at ilagay sa sako bag. meron naman sa jetstar na max is 40 per tao. so pwede na kaming tatlo na 120kg. ang problema pagdating don sa Melbourne baka sabihin e pangbenta. kasi hindi nya malet go pati mga boxes e.

yung mga nakapunta na from Sg, mga ilang shoes ang dala nyo? hahaha. antindi ng problema ko no.

suggestion lang pare, kung gusto talaga dalhin un boxes ng shoes mo, pwede mo siguro i-separate. like for example, ilagay mo ng ibang laruan ng anak mo o damit un ibang box tapos i-ship mo thru ezy2ship. tapos i-check-in mo un mga sapatos mo para kapag dating mo sa melborne magkasama pa din sila.
yan din kasi naiisip kong paraan thou alam ko ndi ko pa din madala un ibang boxes. sayang kasi kapag collection mo eh.

@chocolatepink I don't think there would be any problem as long as you follow the size & weight restrictions otherwise kapag malaki dun siya lalagay sa odd size at kapag sa weight eh baka dun ka magkaproblema. Try to limit it within 20kg

eto rin problema ko kasi ung boxes ng sapatos ay magkasing laki. hindi mo sila pwede i-stack inside each other. wala na ba talaga ibang way? meron kasi ako around 20 pairs / boxes

bumili kami ng box sa ikea yun max is 30kg. nasa 4 shoes ata ang kasya sa loob then merong mga pwedeng isingit na items. though parang second option na lang gawin namin. a friend used the smallest box ng jolly b and nagpadala sila sa singpost going to NZ naman. wala naman daw problema. I'll let you know next week. 2 wks to go hindi pa nga kami nakaempake ng maayos. hehehe

Nagpa-ship ako ng 2 boxes with SingPost... in addition to several boxes shipped through Astro Movers. Mga pahabol na items na naiwan sa SG at hindi na namin kayang isingit sa check-in luggages.

In both shipments, wala naman akong binayarang tax at all sa AU.

Sa Astro Movers, may binayaran akong quarantine inspection fee of A$200 though (we shipped about 30+ boxes).

Ginamit ko 2 left over boxes from Astro Movers (they meet the box dimension stipulated by SingPost). Bale tinakpan na lang namin yung mga markings ng Astro Movers (with packing tape), as instructed by SingPost.

Malamang kaya 20kg lang is because they're quoting you the Standard and Economy service nila. Napansin ko yan noon. If you opt for Priority and Express, max weight goes up to 30kg. Thus I shipped 2 boxes via SingPost Priority. Isang 20kg ($295) at isang 30kg ($369).

The boxes arrived pretty fast. A day or 2 earlier than the date I expected, if I remember correctly.
