hello! ask ko lng sana kung may idea kyo kung may courier/luggage services available sa airport sa australia like for sending luggages/boxes from sydney airport to bahay? plan namin imaximize ksi ung baggage allowance kaso parang mahirap itransport..example family of four (2 kids) kmi times 2 luggages of 20kgs per person..or any recommendations? thanks!

Use a maxi cab (van) from the airport to your accommodation. At Melbourne airport the taxi dispatcher will automatically assign a maxi cab if he sees that the party have a number of people/bags. Should be the same in Sydney I reckon

Hello kababayans, new PR’s po kami and we’ll be moving to Melbourne this June.

Sorry if these questions have been answered before…

1. Meron po ba kayong marerecommend na courier service, door-to-door shipping from Manila to Australia? We’ve checked forwarders like DHL etc, and they’re pretty expensive tapos konti pa yung kilos.

2. Yung hand carry cash, which is more cost efficient to bring? Yung USD or AUD? Saan mas okay magpa-palit, dito sa Manila or sa Australia na?

hi everyone! na grant po yung visa namin last tue but we did not receive any visa grant letter. is it the same as the visa entitlement info na nasa VIVO page (ie http://www.immi.gov.au/managing-australias-borders/compliance/working-legally/evo-for-visa-holders.htm)? if no, was it possibly sent to my sponsor/employer instead? thanks!

di ko alam ,kasi di naman kami nagpa braces. pero be prepared kasi sobrang mahal dito times 8-10 cguro hehe. We enquire about the cost of the braces here and everything and they mentioned around 8k-15k AUD in the average. not sure sa maintenance, pero expect na mahal as compared sa pinas

@thegreatiam15 thanks sa info bka roadtrip din kmi pagdating dyan. Ntry nmin dito from Manila to CDO (3days) then CDO to Manila (5days) magkaibang way :-)

Hello! Question po sa mga 489 visa holders, anong pre departure requirements ang hinanap ng airport immigration bago kayo umalis ng pinas papuntang AU? Need po ba ng PDOS?

@misisv not sure but in case of 189, PDOS is stated as requirement in the visa grant details po.

@Teng10 sir need pa ng PDOS sa 189 visa? Kase ako twice ako nagpunta Aus using 189 visa wala naman po hinanap si immigration Feb 2014 and Sep 2014.

Just asking baka naiba na. Kasi umuwi ako pinas nung Nov 2014 pa. Di pa ko nabalik hehe waiting pa sa visa ng mag daddy ko eh.

@momnijosh08 correct po si @engineer20 , but you still need to register sa CFO and have the sticker. I remember may kasabay kmi na ganyan din from Au na..pero nag attend din sya after registering sa CFO, pang refresh lang po yata nya...lets wait din for others na may experience same as you po.

Hello po. paadvise naman po.. Dahil mura ang air ticket ng Cebu Pac at need na rin bakasyon sa Pinas (resident here in UAE), mag initial entry ako from Manila to Sydney. Kailangan ko pa rin ba mag PDOS? or any exemption na pwede kuhanin sa long time OFW na katulad ko? Salamat po
