@prcand bro do you have an idea kung ano ang definition nila ng re-assess? Anyway nag email na rin ako sa kanila. Gusto ko lang malaman bakit 4 years ang binawas nila sa akin. Parang hindi kasi makatarungan.

@kittykitkat18 as of now, 5 yrs 8 months ang experience ko. e kinaltasan ng 4 years, e d balik sa 1 year 8 months. Hindi man lang naconsider na test lead na ako ngayon at maayos naman yung work ko dahil napromote ako 3 times within the first 4 years ko sa company ko. Nakakapanliit lang dahil parang binalik nila ako sa entry level based sa assessment nila sa akin.

@prcand thanks bro! check ko na rin kung pwede pa re-appeal, but most likely my case won't be strong if course talaga ang batayan nila. Ang sakit talaga. Nawalan na ako ng gana mag trabaho ngayong araw. Sayang ang 5 points.. Masakit rin pala sa bulsa ang re-appeal dahil A$395 ang cost.

Update from CO:

Less than 65% of my ICT subjects are related to software tester, hence I was only assessed as AQF Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Computing equivalent but NOT closely related to my nominated occupation.

I guess nonsense na i-reappeal to, mag sasayang lang ako ng A$395.

Hi ulit guys..

After ACS assessment, almost 2 years pa lang experience ko.. Once na pumalo na ng 3 years ang experience ko, kelangan ko pa ba ulit magpa assess sa ACS?

2 years kasi ang validity ng ACS diba, e within 2 years kasi papalo na ng 3 years yung experience ko post assessment eh. For example, by Feb 2018, total experience ko na is 7.5 years, minus 4 years, e d 3.5 years.

@engineer20 hi bro, here's the breakdown for sub 190:

Scenario 1: I only get 10 points in IELTS/PTE-A
Age = 30
Qualifications = 15
Work = 0
IELTS = 10
SS = 0 (at the time of EOI submission, 0 pa lang to dahil d pa approved ang SS)

TOTAL = 55 points (+5 from SS)

Scenario 2: I get max 20 points in IELTS/PTE-A
Age = 30
Qualifications = 15
Work = 0
IELTS = 20
SS = 0 (at the time of EOI submission, 0 pa lang to dahil d pa approved ang SS)

TOTAL = 65 points (+5 from SS)

bro additional question, ano ba dapat mauna? EOI or state nomination? iba iba kasi nakikita kong sagot sa ibang threads eh..

@rich88 nasa SOL ba occupation mo? kung makakakuha ka 20 points sa english pwede na visa 189.

iba iba kasi ang state sa requirements but mostly require you to submit an EOI beforehand. wala ka pang ielts or PTE? you need one to submit an EOI.

@engineer20 wala sa SOL bro, CSOL lang tlga ako. Schedule ko pa lang ng PTE sa march 30. Plan ko is sa VIC mag apply ng SS, tutal dun lang nmn open na open yung software tester na occupation. Kaya for now tambay ako dito, sa VIC at sa PTE threads.. hehe..

Currently kasi closed sya sa Canberra tapos special conditions sa SA.

@gmont bro may nag email sa inyo nung PDF form ng assessment diba? mag reply ka lang dun at itanong mo kung bakit ganun yung assessment. most likely ang isasagot nya sayo eh yung core units ng course mo is <65% ng nominated occupation mo.

@kittykitkat18 as of 2015-16, hindi sponsored ng NSW yung occupation ko eh.

@rich88 sa VIC kasi nasa CV ang pinakapanlaban mo. ayusin mong mabuti kasi may panel sila na nagaassess kung swak ang experience mo sa current requirement ng state. for nsw, ok lang na wala sa list nila ang nominated occupation mo basta nasa csol at at least 70 points ka. nsw din ako pero wala sa priority list nila.

since then I helped out some of my friends for ACS, most recent is last month. The same requirements the same deductions on what I had October 2014. Oh by the way, ACS processing is taking around 10 calendar days so good times

Throughout the 2015-16 financial year NSW will also select and invite a limited number of the highest scoring skilled candidates in occupations from the broader DIBP CSOL.* Selection under this stream will be determined on an ongoing basis and limited to occupations where there is labour market demand.

@prcand @rich88 hello, binalikan ko ung acs document on anzsco codes at inisa isa ko ung core subjects per occupation. May occupations na share lang sila ng core ICT subjects, I think ito ung occupations na under one unit group ng anzscosearch results, and dapat 65% dito ang subjects na na-take mo.

Yup, I remember you. Grabe parang ang tagal na nun. Buti ka pa umandar na application mo. Ilang points mo sa 189? Pansin ko nagpa medical ka narin.. Isa pa yan kinakabahan ko kasi nagkaron na ako nang mild hypertension haha tumatanda na! hahaha

@tiggeroo thanks tiggeroo.. actually yan nga ung assignment ko now, check ko yung TOR ko and if maprove ko na more than 65% ng subjects ko nung college is andyan, mag aappeal ako. Else, let go, move on, and focus nlng maka 8 sa IELTS/PTE-A for additional points.

yup yan nga. sa stream 2 ako nainvite ng NSW after ko mareject sa victoria at habang naghihintay ng result ng skill reassessment para sa occupation na nasa SOL para eligible sa visa 189.

@engineer20 thanks bro, may pag asa pala sa NSW.. btw if i may ask, ilan ang points nyo noon nung nag apply kayo ng state nomination sa NSW? May nabasa ako na pwedeng mag lodge ng 2 EOI concurrently (1 for VIC, 1 for NSW), tama ba? Ibig sabihin, dalawa rin yung EOI number mo.. hindi ba sya makaka affect sa outcome?

@rich88 isa lang EOI ko kasi yung sa VIC binago ko na NSW kasi nareject. para lang di mawalan ng silbi habang naghihintay kahit suntok sa buwan inedit ko. 65 points ako without SS.

@wingleaf observation lang naman po ung posted sa taas, since minsan vague or generic reason lang binibigay ni ACS sa result. Sagad po ba ang points nyo? We can hope for the best, but still prepare for the worst

@tiggeroo I think nadale talaga ako sa rule na "At least 65% of the ICT units in your qualification must be relevant to the nominated occupation." kaya 4 years binawas sa akin.

Sa CoE kasi ang daming electronics, communications units na nahalo sa software programming theories and applications na subjects.. sa ACS, meron separate bullets ang data structures, algorithm analysis, saka object oriented programming. Pero sa university ko, iisang subject lang yan worth 4 units (3 units for lecture, 1unit for lab).
