hindi ko na chineck ung details ng course description kasi it will open wounds haha. nag move on na ako, pero sharing my story rin para inspiration (or kahit pang background or context lang) sa iba na malaking years ang bawas

@tiggeroo I think nadale talaga ako sa rule na "At least 65% of the ICT units in your qualification must be relevant to the nominated occupation." kaya 4 years binawas sa akin.

Sa CoE kasi ang daming electronics, communications units na nahalo sa software programming theories and applications na subjects.. sa ACS, meron separate bullets ang data structures, algorithm analysis, saka object oriented programming. Pero sa university ko, iisang subject lang yan worth 4 units (3 units for lecture, 1unit for lab).

@sc_march ah. Hindi ko kse alam un re-assessment. Husband ko kse ngrisk lng kse nandun na family nya. 3yrs work experience lng sya. Kakagrad lng nun 2011. Nabigyan namn sa awa ng diyos. Nagbawas ng 2yrs. Kaya 0 pts sya work exp.

Yung sa husband nyo, ilang years nabawas? saka ano ung occupation na ni-specify nyo?

@rich88 kinakabahan ako sa ACS assessment ko actually, COE din kasi ako & am planning for ICT BA, andami ko nabasa dito 4years talaga yung bawas. haay.

Dev / Software Eng / Software Test - CS
Com Sys / Nets - CoE / ECE

BTW, ano bang course mo, saka experience? Ako, hinayaan ko nlng. Nagpasalamat pa rin ako sa Diyos na suitable ang verdict sa akin.

hi @rich88! Course ko ay BSCS, analyst programmer, yrs deducted sakin 2yrs. Nagemail nga ako sa ACS kasi d ung ineexpect ko na years assessed ang nabigay sakin.

@sc_march 2 years talaga ang minimum na binabawas ng ACS. yan yung pinaka konting bawas nila.

@rich88 uu nga eh 2 yrs or 4yrs deduction lang daw. Kaya bigla nga ako naging thankful na 2 yrs nalang..hehehe

hi can anyone help me what would be the appropriate anzsco ang pinakabest na ipa-assess ko na atleast positive/suitable ang result..

BSCS from a section 2 school
worked as an application support analyst 06/11-10/14 (3yrs and 4mos) - ANZSCO 313112
worked as a system administrator 10/14-current (1yr and 5mos) - ANZSCO 262113

@racer06 depends really, for 313112: ICT CUSTOMER SUPPORT OFFICER , this will be assessed by TRA ($1000 fee) & is only open on SA.

262113 is way cheaper as assessed by ACS ($500), but you only have 1yr5months. Please check the work description and see if you can have both jobs assessed by ACS under 262113. Who knows? ACS mostly relies on duties not the job title.

thank you @guenb I am okay with SA if I am pushing for this year to process this but the cost is too much for an assessment tapos unsuitable pa...saklap!

pero check ko din sa office namin for both, since same dept lang naman nag change of post lang ako if possible as detailed as it can be...contemplating...

Hello forumers. May question lang po ako, I went through the RPL route and then now nag pa assess ako for Vetasses. For me to get extra points, need ko ng state sponsorship. has anyone here naka pag lodge ng visa application and then ano po bang visa type ung dapat piliin ko yung State Sponsorship po ba (visa 190) or 189 - General Skilled. Or pwede po bang both? Thanks po!!!
