    May tanong lang ako.. kung Accountancy graduate but not CPA licensed at ang work experience not related (more on supply chain) Pwede pa din ba mag pa assess ng Education just to claim points for this criteria? May bearing kaya yun? Sino ang assessing authority? Thank you.

    pwedeng hindi iconsider ng CO yung particular employment experience na yun at mababawasan ang points mo. either iapprove ka dahil pasok pa rin sa 60 ang points or ireject ang application mo.

    question lang po. ano ang dapat kong inominate na occupation if i'm an IT auditor. 2yrs sa firm then 2 yrs sa private corp pero same na IT audit ang job ko. salamat po sa sasagot

    May tanong lang ako.. kung Accountancy graduate but not CPA licensed at ang work experience not related (more on supply chain) Pwede pa din ba mag pa assess ng Education just to claim points for this criteria? May bearing kaya yun? Sino ang assessing authority? Thank you.
    Your academic qualification is one thing and your experience in your nominated occupation is another. You will need to provide proof that you have been employed/working as an accountant in the 12 months prior to lodging an application.

    (Please correct me if I'm wrong kasi 2009 pa yung visa ko baka nag change na ngayon hehe)

    Sorry I don't think I answered your question properly. There are 3 assessing bodies for accountants: CPAA, CAANZ and IPA. What is your purpose for obtaining an assessment? An assessment for migration includes assessment of both education and work experience. Kung education lang I think pwede if you are only after membership as an associate.

    20 Sept 2015 - Started gathering docs for CPA Australia assessment
    29 Dec 2015 - CPAA Skill Migration Assessment acknowledgement of application
    07 Jan 2016 - CPAA positive assesment - work experience reduced by 2 years.
    21 Jan 2016 - Completed documents for additional work exp to be submitted to CPAA for update (Additional $118)
    10 Feb 2016 - EOI NSW (65+5 points)
    12 Feb 2016 - CPAA acknowledge receipt of Application for Employment update
    01 Mar 2016 - Received positive employment update from CPAA. Addtl 5 pts for work exp. EOI revised from 190 to 189 for 70 pts.
    09 Mar 2016 - ITA 189 received & UAE PCC obtained
    10 Mar 2016 - Visa 189 lodged
    14 Mar 2016 - NBI clearance obtained
    22 Mar 2016 - Medical at Nationwide Makati
