meron po bang nakaclaim nitong Newborn Upfront Payment and Newborn Supplement sa Centrelink?

Punta na po kami sa Aus by next month and my wife is currently pregnant. Nagbabasa-basa na din ako baka lang may mga payments na pede maavail. baka po merong same situation ngayon or may previous experience pashare naman po.

    4. last, baka po merong pedeng magshare ng list of payments na naavail nila before and upon having a baby.

    TIA

Nakapag initial entry na po kaming lahat last year.
    Ang mga tanong ko po:

    3. Ano po ang mga forms na kailangan ko I-fill out particularly po sa centrelink? may link po ba where I can download it?

    Ang mga tanong ko po:

    - bank account - Pwede to gawin pero you need to activate your account sa nominated branch mo
    - centrelink - not sure
    - medicare - hindi pwede online, need to print the form and go to medicare
    - TFN - upon arrival pwede mo to gawin online. basta dapat on-shore ka kasi madetect nila if ginawa mo to outside australia
    - driver's license - next goal ko rin to so wala pa hehe - may separate thread din nito.

Ung school kids bonus under un ng family tax benefit at iba pang benefits like rent assistance..

@ShayShey: hi sis! question! I have applied for the Medicare na and ipapadala na lang daw nila yung Card naming tatlo. Then nag apply kami sa Centrelink - bakit non nag ask me parang wala na daw child care benefit si baby (3 years old na sya) kasi si hubby nakahanap na agad ng work 3 days after we arrived. Sabi nila ang makukuha lang naming claim is yung family tax benefit. ganon ba yun? thanks!

@bait0211 silly question pero yung baby mo ba nasa child care?if yes dapat meron though certain percentage lang yun ng cost ng child care kase dependent ang ccb (child care benefit) sa income and kung pareho kayong working or yung isa working and then yung isa studying or looking for work or training pwede din kayo makakuha ng child care rebate.

@muffles127: thanks for your reply. hindi ko pa sya naienrol sa child care. though I am looking for a school na rin malapit sa min kasi walang mag-alaga sa kanya if ever na may work na me or may interview me kasi I'm still looking for a job. So meron pa rin child care benefit bukod sa child allowance ba yun? sorry ha newbie talaga in Au. :)

@bait0211 yes basta mameet yung eligibility criteria for child care benefit and rebate makukuha mo naman yun.

Hi! I have the same question as @biboy329, isa lang din kasi na CRN ang binigay samen, which is sa main applicant lang. How can we get CRN for kids? And sa spouse?

Hi! New migrant here. Just arrived last Saturday lang with my wife and 3-year old son. My clarifications below:

1.) Sa mga nabasa ko TFN daw ang uunahin, pero nung pinuntahan ko yung site kailangan ipakita ang Medicare card as one of the secondary documents (my passport as primary) given the 100 pts rule to prove your identity.
2.) Went to Medicare office malapit sa place nmin (West Sydney), I was only given 2 Medicare enrolment forms (I assume for my wife and myself). Question: Paano yung sa 3-year old son ko? I had clarified, enough na daw yun. So yung son ko as "Additional People to be included in my Medicare Card"?
3.) Pede ba ma register Medicare at the same time Centrelink?

Salamat ng madami sa mga mkakasagot. Cheers!

    @gared welcome!!

-i remember i registered only using my passport, that was Nov 2016.
possible na baka new requirement na ang medicare. no harm on having medicare muna, though temporary card yung bibigay nila.

-dito im not sure, pero for me and wife parang 1 form lng noon.

3.) Pede ba ma register Medicare at the same time Centrelink?
-yes, madalas same building sila e. for centrelink, some staff asks about what claim to lodge. so better have some quick research on this, yung iba nmn, no questions asked, register ka agad nila s centrelink. sa medicare madali lng mag register sknila.

@Captain_A thanks a lot sa inputs mo. We were able to get our Medicare though temporary card lang muna then pinag GP na anak nmin dahil may sipon at ubo (most likely of the weather). Then nagregister na din for Centreline on one go. Yup, medyo tricky yung TFN na yun. Thanks lit.
