@tomangelo hi there, where are you based? An education agency will help you with your selection of course(fees,program duration,etc),school application and visa application for free.if an agency is accredited with yiur choice of school,wala talagang bayad,kase comission-based yun. Browse through some threads for educ agents here. Depende sa location mo yan. Pero make sure it is legit and certified sila.
Look out as well for education expo,few months ago ang dami sa manila,meronf cebu din.kase class starts june-july,then february next intake. Sa expo kase nandun mga schools reps,to explain course,duration etc.

It depends as well on the assigned agent to you. My agent before is Idp Makati,got no problem with them.quick and accomodating,but that was 5-6 years ago. Now,i use a different agency,kase idp has so many clients,so a friend referred me to a new agency pero global naman,some of the agents including the manager used to work for idp,10-12 years ago.but so far,i am satisfied with them.see my timeline for the agent.

@KrisQ, why 14th day? Start ata is nung 26th nung aknowledge ng embassy. Mine was acknoledge on 27th.

@tangentph The acknowledgement email is sent 5-7 days after lodgment.mine was lodge 18,then 19th nasa embassy na,so between april19-may3 it is 14days processing for subclass 573 svp(higher education/bachelor's). If yours is the same svp,then by tomorrow meron na yang results. May agent informed me almost 2:00pm,but the email notice(forwarded by my agent) from the embassy was sent at 9:30am.

Mas madali po bang makahanap ng work if tapos kana sa studies mo in AUS? Compared to applying a skilled immigrant visa, then find work in Australia?

SVP 573 ka ba? kase yung sa akin ganun kaya 13days processing. kung mas lower level, aabot ng 3 weeks to one month yan. if one month, sa 10th ng May yan. if may agent ka, follow up mo. Pero sa email nila kase hindi daw sasagutin mga questions hangga't nasa processing stage pa ito, pag-lumagpas na dun ka pwedeng mag-email sa kanila.

@tomangelo ask this QUESTION sa migration thread. Ang alam ko, mas-magastos ang student visa kase may course fee, from 11,000AUD -25,000AUD/ YEAR depende sa course at program duration yan. And pag-hihirapan mo talaga. yung iba na nag-aaral ngayon, last resort nila din ito kase hirap sa migration. In my case, may current job at the family business is not recognized eh, kase dapat malaking company or SEC registered business.

IT field at mas need nila sa New South Wales, kase different state, iba ang availability ng skills or high demand.

Guys! Another question. Nung gumawa kayo nang Statement of Purpose (GTE) for the Visa Application. Ilan pages po? Would you recommend 2 pages po? 5 questions kasi yon diba? Kahit i brief ko. ☺️☺️☺️. Thanks po sa sasagot

@eunofficial my agent gave me a list of questions, which I used as a guide to create my 2-page essay. some of the questions naman pwedeng pag-samahin sa isang paragraph ang sagot po.

Pm ko sayo SOP ko? pero mahaba yun. kase complicated case ko kaya explain ko lahat.okay naman kase no questions asked sa akin. nasagot ko lahat ng concerns sa akin... such as temporary lang ako dun, kase the benefits of the study is for the family business.

I am a big fan of subheadings. para mas klaro per paragraph ang gusto kong sabihin compared sa continuous sentences.

Here goes bits of my SOP...

Postgraduate Study for A Successful Family Business ( this answers why study, benefit sa career,etc.)
Furthermore, the program will be beneficial in developing skills related to management, finance and operations of the business. Ultimately, (school) will help the family business respond to competitive industry whilst I, the manager, gain new set of skills and industry experience to take home with me upon completing the program, for the betterment of our family and employees.

may cases naman na still overseas pa na hired na ...but still it would be to one's advantage na andito na sa AU while looking for a job....and make use of all available resources like online job hunting and others.....
