Visitor visa (subclass 600) - Sponsored Family Stream

Hello.. Sorry to hijack you post sis. I have a different scenario. I am currently pregnant, I have a one year old (who will be 2 y/o when new bub arrives) and have no relatives in Sydney. I had quite a difficult pregnancy with the first one hence I decided to get my first cousin to come over and help us out for the first 3 months. Can I sponsor her? Or can she apply for a tourist visa with an invitation letter from us stating our intent and that we will be covering all her expenses etc. She will have to resign from her current job as they do not allow that long leave. Her family is still in the Philippines. Your thoughts please or for those who has done the same, would appreciate your advice.

@sandd13 for the family-sponsored stream, it's only up to third degree of consanguinity, do you cannot sponsor your cousin.

a relative of the applicant (partner, parent, child, brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, or the 'step' or adopted equivalent of any of these).

What she can do is apply tourist visa here in the Phil & give her an invitation letter explaining your situation. As she needs to resign it will also help to show that you will take care of her finances while she's in AU. If you are employed outside of AU (Parents, siblings, relatives and friends of someone in AU), you can apply TV Tourist stream, at malaki chance na ma-grant ang visa kung may invitation letter from relative/ friend in AU stating na they will accomodate and support you while in Australia. Same requirements kagaya ng nabanggit ni @JCsantos. Pwedeng ikaw na magprocess ng application or pwede rin naman relative/ friend in AU ang magpprocess gamit ang kanilang immiaccount.

Kung ikaw naman ay unemployed, may chance pa rin na ma-grant ang visa as long as hindi gaanong matagal ang intended vacation sa Australia. Yun nga lang kailangan ay family sponsored stream ang path na kelangan iapply. Meaning you will need someone in Australia na magssponsor sayo at kelangan din nila magfill up ng form1149. They also need to be an Australian PR for at least 2years minimum stay in AU. Sa case ng sister ko, 1 1/2years pa lang kaming PR pero nagrant naman dahil cguro ay 2weeks lang naman syang magbakasyon dito. Kelangan din ng magssponsor sayo ng AU dollar amounting to at least 5000 - 15,000 as bond, pero sa case ulit namin at di na rin ako hiningan ng bond.

Subclass 600 Tourist stream - no need to fill up form 1149.

Subclass 600 Family sponsored - need to submit form1149, at least minimum of 2 years stay as PR in Australia. And also may possibility na hingan ng bond (which is refundable once the visitor left AU).

Hello po may question po sana ako mag bi bigmove po kami first quarter next year (this May po ang initial entry namin) tapos gusto ko po isama ang mother ko next year for 2 months habang hindi pa kami settled para mag bantay muna sa toddler namin habang nag hahanap pa ako ng work. Ang mother ko ay unemployed Subclass 600 Tourist stream po ang dapat iaaply sa kanya? pano po un wala syang proof of funds..

Hi sis @ram071312, tourist stream i-apply mo. Inapply ko mom ko last month(april 20),tpos approved na ngaun. Nag provide ako invitation letter, bank details, pati payslip at coe ko na rin, then habang nag fifill up ng details nia, inindicate ko na ako sasagot lahat ng expenses. Di ako nag provide ng proof of funds sa mom ko, ung birth certificate nia lang and passport details, tpos ung proof of funds, ung skin ung provided ko.
Based sa tourist visa approval, 3 months pde magstay upon entry. Hope it helps

Hi @ram071312, wla pa ako sa Au,sa August pa big move ko, isama ko saglit nanay ko para pasyal muna kmi sa relatives.

Alam ko mga 135 aud ata ung tourist visa.

Wala nman template sa website. Kumuha lang ako dito sa forum ng sample invitation letter. Basta mahalaga specify na ikaw/kayo gagastos ng lahat ng expenses.

Balikan kita sa medical ha,di ko binasa lahat pa,hahaha. Pero alam ko, di required medical pag 3 months lang inapply, I will get back to you later to confirm.

Online application,sa same immi account ko gnawa,para di na ako mag create ng separate immi account for my mom. Pero email address nia ung nilagay ko kung knino mag no-notify.

@criselvillares can you give us details? like are you currently employed? what's the length of stay did you declare in your application? For first timers I don't think they'll agree to more than 3months, the CO would also look for a reason that you will still go back to the Philippines, e.g. employment, family, assets... A letter from your employer stating he agreed to your leave of absence is also a good support for your appeal.

@guenb Hi sorry for the late reply. I stated there that I will stay for 6 months and I am unemployed I think thats the reason why they refused the visa. I thought that they would grant it since there is a bond.

@criselvillares maybe your aunt can appeal for 3months max instead of 6? Lalo na initial entry mo. I know someone who's always a tourist in Sydney but she was never granted a visa for more than 3, considering her family's here & her financial portfolio is large.

Hi. Just want to ask dun sa mga nag-apply ng tourist visa online, when you submitted your scanned original documents did you get them certified as well or no need to do that? Sabi kasi sa website certified copy of docs, pero naisip ko since original documents naman ang iscan at iattach ko, baka hindi na kailangan, kaya medyo naguluhan ako. hi princess lai, sorry to bother you pero gusto ko lang malaman when you applied online for your mom's tourist visa, yung docs niya na iniscan at inattach mo as docs, did you scan the original docs and have them certified pa? or original docs and no need to have them certified? thanks!

Hi, ask ko lang kung meron na nakapag try na mag lodge as group yung tourist visa, one as tourist stream and the other one as family sponsored TV? Also yung inapply ko na as family sponsored TV, after filling up the form, it did not request for attaching the docs, only the other one applied as tourist stream TV. Nangyari na ba sa inyo ito?

@criselvillares Yung sister ko at brother in law nag apply sakin ng visa last week tapos na denied ako kasi unemployed daw. Ngayon mag a-apply ulit sila ng visa na nag e-explain na kaka graduate ko lang last May 2017 kaya wala pakong trabaho. Hopefully ma grant na siya this time. Kamusta po yung sayo?

hi everyone, ask ko lang, i want to apply my mom for a tourist visa to help us look after our son. kahit few months sana will be helpful. I’ve got a job as well as my husband. we’ve only been here in Sydney for a month. by the way, we are PRs. and my mom does receive pension, more than 60yo, not working. what are the chances she can be given visa? tia sa sasagot!!!! god bless all!
