@ed_lupet, Sir, ano madalas work ng mga EE dyan? Hehehe. I mean yong wala pang certificate. Yong mga odd jobs ba na sinasabi, Sir kaya bumuhay ng pamilya? Please excuse my question, parang napaka charged. Hehehe.

Any idea for the salary range for newcomer (experienced) EE?

And also how about the cost of living there? Ano ba yung budget monthly for the accommodation, food and transfo if 2 kmi ni GF?

@Megger design, consulting, estimation at mga jobs na di nag hands on. Swertehan din kung makapasok ka dyan kasi kelangan nila ng local experience. Kahit anong job sa oz kayang bumuhay ng family

@jonathan7082 basta ang minimun dito around 18 aud per hour. About sa cost of living depende yan kung saan ka state mag stay at kung malapit lang sa city ang prefer mo.

Hi to all po.

For applicant of Visa 189, is it required po ba na magpass din kmi ng proof of functional english for my partner? Does it means po ba na she should take IELTS test also?

@jonathan7082 , for the partner na dependent ok na ang CEMI kung di mag claim ng partner point.

@jonathan7082 certificate of english as medium of instruction (CEMI) ung kelangan ng partner mo from the school. kapag di ka makapag provide nito for some reason dun nya kelangan mag take ng IELTS

Hello mga engineers, question po..
do u guys know na nagpa-assessed sa EA tapos positive outcome with 8 yrs exp but pagdating kay DIBP ay may work experience na hindi credited?
Kumbaga hindi nagfollow si DIBP sa skills assessment ni EA?...

@chehrd , if you have the evidence supporting the assessment less likely po na di mag follow si DIBP. Anyway, satisfy your EA assessment first, if you meet the requirements, same evidence will be use sa DIBP.

Question po sa mga nasa OZ na; meron po ba na Licensing requirement ang OZ to practice Electrical Engineer profession (similar to REE sa Pinas)? Based sa nabasa ko this is applicable if you are working in Building Industry. How about po yung ibang industry ng EE? (i.e. power etc..) Salamat po.

@engrllagas engineers australia ung parang ung governing body dito at sila din magsabi kung equivalent ung degree mo sa australian standards. Madami silang departments like power, telco etc. Hanggang design, consulting, estimating ung mga pwede mong gawin dito kapag ee profession mo di ka pwedeng mag wiring

Hi po. Not EE pro di ko po mikta related topic for my concern. New in pinoyau po. We're planning to migrate in Australia at nagsstart plng po from scratch. Will take IELTS plng next month.
Pwd nyo po ba ako tulungan kung saan mag fafall yung skills ko?
Graduate po ako ng INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL TECHNOLOGY (3 years Diploma ).
10 years experience in Beverage manufacturing machines as Automation Engineer.
Di ko po kasi alam kung pasok ako sa "Production and Plant Engineer" or kung saan pwd.
Salamat po ng marami.

@RobertCastro kung diploma ang tinapos ko, my understanding is hindi ka qualified as plant engineer. ang nakikita ko ay qualified ka as Electrotechnology Electrician, pasok ang instrumentation and control sa category na 'yan.
i will be honest with you na maraming opportunity sa field na 'yan especially kung hands on oriented ka. sa category na 'yan puede ka mag apply ng electrician license, yung nga lang kailangan mong umattend ng gap training at may one year supervised electrician experience ka sa australia.
at this point dalawang bagay ang dapat mong i-prioritize if you are serious with your plan.

a. get an employment statement from your current and previous employer, puede kong ibigay sa 'yo ang format ng letter if you want. i will be honest with you, this one is a challenge.

b. IELTS. try to get at least six sa lahat ng modules para masimulan makapag apply ka na ng skills assessment sa VETASSESS. again, this is a challenge. tinaasan nila ang degree ng difficulty ng IELTS recently and you need to devote your time para sa review. dont gamble on taking IELTS with minimum preparation because the exam itself is expensive. take note depending on your points, you might need band 7 para makapag apply ng visa sa DIBP. para mag qualify ka for assessement band 6 is the minimum requirement.

if you need more details, let me know bro. but for the meantime, concentrate on items a and b.

hi im new here.. i have question lang.. actually last tuesday galing kmi ng isang agency sa bandang makati..nirefer lang siya ng friend ko..wala pako idea about AU..and kung pano proceso dito..EE un husband ko,with 8 yrs exp..okay narin yung ielts niya..my past application kami sa ibang agency,sa canada..and masasabi ko tlgang ang hirap and tagal..dahil drawlots sila dun at pataasan ng score all over the world..ask ko lang pano ba dito aa Australia? skill independent yun sa husband ko..ang assessment samin kaya ng 6 months basta magawa agad un CDR..pls help us kung tama ba na 6 months matapos lang yun mga need..medyo mahal kase tlga yun bayad and every visit my bayad na..need ko lang ng idea..TIA

Matagal ang 6months ung iba nakkita ko sa timeline nila 2months lng grant n agad visa nila. May mga agency din d2 n ka forum pero kme DIY lng kc wla din kme budget para sa agency kaya basabsa lng at hingi tulong s mga ka forum.

@mehawk28 hi sir..thankyou po..nag agency na kmi kase wala tlga kming idea..magastos pero iniisip na lang namin na sana worth it and positive yun outcome..yun CDR daw kase yun mahirap..and ask ko rin sana sir kung tlgang open ang EE ngayon? kung mabilis makakuwa ng invitation to apply..and kung pwede i-practice ng husband ko yun pagiging engr niya djan ng hindi na ulit mag aaral..TIA

@anoja I believe kayang kaya gumawa ng CDR ng hubby mo. paki pm sa akin yung email nyo at bibigay ko yung CDR ko. If di pa kayo naka full payment sa agency , pag isipan nyo muna kung itutuloy nyo yung service nila. Malaki din kasi kailangan na ibaon sa australia. Tsaka isa pa kahit may agency, kayo din mag aasikaso ng lahat ng docs pati na rin yung CDR. Advise lang ibibigay ng agency. Consultation lang talaga. Dito sa pinoyau libre ang advice and consultation, first hand experience pa.

If you pursue assistance from an agency make sure they are MARA registered.

Pagdating sa invitation to apply naka depende sainyo yun kung gaano kabilis nyo ma accumulate lahat ng docs. Medyo nakakatagal yung COE with job description. Standard formt kasi sa pinas walang job description kaya kailangan contact or puntahan lahat ng previous employers.

At the Moment marami akong nababasa dito na success stories para sa mga engineers i believe as long as your hubby has the right skill set madali makukuha ng trabaho yun.
