    1. Meron po dito nagapply ng 485 (Graduate Work Stream) na ang first student visa e nagrant after 5 Nov 2011?
    2. If ever po na madeny yung 485, may effect po ba yun sa future visa applications mo (like 189 or 190)?

Arrive in oz - Feb 2014
    Finish Masters - Dec 2014
Finish Graduate Diploma - Dec 2015
Finish Graduate Certificate - Sept 2016
Uni cancelled COE - Sept 5 2016 (uni said visa may cancel & need to depart from oz within 28 days)
Student visa expiry - Feb 2017

Hi Kuya @danyan2001us, been backreading the post. Just to give a little bit of background:

    - BS Computer Science graduate in Pinas
    - IT professional with more than 10 yrs of experience (7 yrs in Singapore, 3+ yrs in Pinas)
    - had engaged AIMS for processing my 189 visa

    Results of the initial assessment:
All along, AIMS gave me that confidence na I'm qualified for the PR visa, only to find out:
    - ACS' assessment to my degree is only equivalent to AQF Diploma (10 pts), I suspected na yung college na pinasukan ko sa Pinas is wala sa list of their standard schools.
    - Due to that, my 4yrs+ experience as IT Business Analyst (nominated occupation) wasn't recognized (0 pts)
    - Total points to date: 50 pts (including IELTS for band 7, all areas)
    - AIMS lodged my EOI in June and they claimed 10 pts for a regional sponsorship. Total points in EOI: 60 pts

    Questions:
    - bakit po 10 points ang claim ni AIMS for regional sponsorship? ang alam ko is 5 lang
    - i'm planning to take master's degree in IT para macover ung kulang kong points sa education. possible ba ito while i have a pending EOI?
    - ang tuition fee for the MIT is 40K for 2 yrs, magkano pong showmoney ang dapat ko ipakita?

My plan now is student pathway (subclass 500) then post grad visa then PR : estimated po ba to get this is 4 yrs?

Thanks in advance Kuya Dan and may God bless you more!

Hello bro/sis, sorry for my late reply been so busy with some other things.....anyway i hope everything is doing well in your application....if i were you, i would rather choose the 189 visa rather than undergoing the student visa pathway since it is very expensive especially if you will choose a Masters field.....Just to avoid the stress and the challenges of being a student in OZ.....

Hi Bro/ sis....sorry but not that familiar with Unique Student Identifier (USI) yan ba ung USI na binabanggit mo? hindi naman yata need na kumuha pa nyan lalo na pag short sessions like five days lang....

Hi Everyone! I'm new here po and starting my Australian journey through this path.

I just have a few questions that you may help me with in making my decisions.

First po is, kailangan po ba na Public University or Malaking university ang pasukan ko ng pag master's or at the end of the day ay pareho lang ito? Malaking tipid yung bang institution compared sa public. Case in point - University of South Australia vs. Torrance University (bagong bago) vs. Kaplan Business School.

Second po is does it get harder for other states? Meron silang stream for International Graduates kahit make one year post graduate pa lang. Ang kinakabahan ko lang duon ay parang wala masyadong trabaho kumpara sa Melbourne, which is my first choice. Mahirap ba ang Masters in Coursework Path sa Melbourne.

Looking forward po to your Answers and advice!

    Thank you very much!

basing on the experience of my wife ( masters in commerce: professional accounting), hindi naman naging msahirap sa kanya ang journey nya maybe she was helped by her background na accounting din...i don't think the institution na ma pili mo will become a preference unlike dyan sa atin na dapat nasa may pangalan or mamahalin na university ka nakakatapos....and yes you are right, ang ibat ibang states dito ay may independent criteria when it comes to mogration but at the end of the day, ang opportunity to grow also would be a consideration...good luck to your OZ dream

@danyan2001us hi Kuya! Thank you for your response! Sobrang laking tulong. I am now seriously studying to opportunity to grow in my chosen states. Kuya if you don't mind me asking, san po nag master's si misis?

Hi, Kuya Dan. My husband worked in cargo vessels as messman until 2012. Since then, he remained unemployed since I got pregnant and he's taking care of our 1 yr old baby. He finished a 2-yr course in the early 1990s entitled Radio Operator. He is 41 years old. As messman, he has several kitchen training certificates including Bread and Pastry, Cookery, and General Housekeeping.

My question is, do you think he will easily find job under dependent visa? I am the primary applicant who will take a master's course in education, God willing, this June 2017.

@danyan2001us hi kuya dan, i am still on a visa subcalss 573 until march 2018 and planning to apply for the grad visa this december 2017 once i finish my studies. However, i am planning to get my 6 year old son this year since im still on a masters degree and schooling is free until i grad. Tanong lang:

    1. Do you know any agency or how i can apply for a visa for my son? I already declared him on my student visa. I just need his visa so i can bring hime here. I asked rps migration from cebu to help me but they are hesitant since they only assist IT, nursing or engineering and i didn't get my visa from them. Is it also possible for me to just lodge my visa if i can't find an agency. How did you process yours?

    2. Also, do you know how much the tuition fees would cost for primary school once i will be on a graduate visa? I know it's different per state but just curious. I am currently studying in perth

    Thanks!
