    nakita ko lang itong post mo. maglodge kasi kami late this year.

    Hi All,
    Quick question.
    We are PR residents still living outside Australia. We are from Dubai and are expecting our 2nd baby. We also plan to move to Australia before our child is born.
    We learned this will make our baby Australian citizen by birth as per this rule, "Children born in Australia automatically acquire Australian citizenship if at least one parent is an Australian citizen or permanent resident at the time of the child's birth."
    However, what if after birth, for some reasons, we decide to go back to Dubai, what repercussions will it have on our child's citizenship?
    Will we or our child be required to stay on Australia after birth? What are the requirements from our side for our newborn and what will be the process for applying for a visa or citizenship?
    Thanks for all your answers in advance.

    @ryansicad hi, alam ko wala namang rule na di mo pwedeng ilabas ang baby after birth. yup pag dito pinanganak ang baby nyo, Aussie citizen agad. kelangan nyo lang makakuha ng AU passport nya then pwede nyo na syang dalhin sa Dubai. ganyan sa pagkakaalam ko =)

    Hi guys newbie here.

    Tanong ko lang po yung tatay ko po kasi naka pangasawa ng pinay na au citizen na .tas siya citizen na din siya doon may chance pa kayang makuha niya ako graduate ako ng bs human resource last march 2014 pa 22 na din ako pero sa tatay ko lang ako umaasa finacially
    Ano kayang visa ang applicable aa akin?

    April 9, 2017 - lodged (VFS Abu Dhabi]
    April 10, 2017 - Acknowledgement receipt from Australian Embassy Abu Dhabi
    April 18, 2017 - CO contact - Request for medical
    April 29, 2017 - Medical done
    May 2, 2017 - Visa granted :)

    Got it in 23 days. Mas maaga pa sana kung mas maaga kami nagpameds.

    @markusandlucas hello! saan mo nakita ung 13months minimum?? I'm kinda worried.. we're suppose to leave soon and wala pa visa ng baby ko.. I don't want to leave without her :(

    Wow ang bilis pala ah. I am still contemplating kung i aaply ko ng visa 101 (which is offshore) or visa 801( na onshore naman). Worried kasi ako sa waiting time bago ma approve eh. Pero sana mabilis pa rin ang approval. Sa dame ba naman ng naka tengga na application sa citizenship siguro ito ang uunahin ng mga case officer.

    hello po! my baby's visa was acknowledged by d embassy last june 13. may additional requirements lang pinasubmit. waiting for CO na. supposedly bukas ang flight namin kaso wala pa child visa so hindi pa makalipad. worried din ako na matagalan kasi 13 months nakalagay sa standard waiting time. kaguol.

    @grace1980 you can’t do anything while you are on your tourist visa kasi hindi ka pwede mag work at hindi rin pwede mag aral anak mo but once you applied for a bridging visa you and your child may have to stay, work and go to school while waiting for the decision.

    @grace1980 what nationality is the child? What visa do you hold? is the child natural child of the parents? or Adopted? where has the child been living for the last 10 years?
    You can bring your child if you are applying for the right visa. Do you have a partner in Australia?
