@killua27 technically di nman past 10 years yung kino consider. Pero kasi pag damay yung past 10years eh tumataas din yung deduction, like yung clause dito:

Bachelor Degree or Higher with an ICT Major
 If your degree is assessed as having an ICT major which is closely related to your nominated occupation, you will require 2 years relevant work experience completed within the past 10 years or 4 years relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history (whichever provides the earliest skill date) to meet the suitability criteria.

So sa case mu pwede nman na sa 12years sila magbase pero parang ganun din kasi ggawin nila 4years instead of 2, assuming na related tlga yung whole 12 years sa NOC mo.

actually, confirmed na last 10 years lang ang considered ni ACS based dun sa reply sa akin... eto po yung computation from reply ni ACS.

"(06/2016 – 10 years = June 2006 + the required 2 Years of closely related experience = August 2008)"

Since, madami din ako months ako walang trabaho from 2006 to 2016 eh ayun, di ko maaabot si 8years (although mahigit 12 years work experience ko -- all closely related) para makuha yung max points from ACS.

@rich88 yup! nagpa-assess na ako nung june pero 6+ years lang na-credit saken ni ACS. Eh gusto ko sana ma-abot yung 8+ years kay ACS. Sana may makapagsabi saken kung possible pa ba ma-abot yung 8+ years na work experience na yun

@Exile sobrang busy ng manager ko to get a cedula (wala pa syang idea kung ano yun hehe), close naman kami pero nahihiya na ko.. nagpapirma na lang ako ulit ng stat dec, 3 copies na this time then panotarized ko na lang ulit sa di nagrerequire ng cedula

Good Morning po. meron lang po akong isang lacking requirements for ACS assessment.
Regarding sa statutory declaration, yung work ko po kasi last 2008, wala na yung TL ko sa old company ko, di ko narin alam kung san na sya ngayon. puede po kaya papirmahan yung statutory declaration sa dati kong ka-trabaho na hindi narin connected sa company namin na yon?

@diskartepinay yes, meron notary public na photocopy ng government id ang nirerequire.

yung pinasa ko naman sa first assessment ko, di nakaindicate kahit anong proof of identification ni manager.. suitable result, di na dumaan ng stage 3

Hi. Got my acs result na. Pero wala ko makita na nakaindicate abt educ/qualifications. Puro employment related lang. RPL type ang inapplyan ko kasi non-ict course ko. Need ko ba mag apply for separate assessment for educ? Tnx.

@siena101 Andyan dapat yan, hanapin mo yung word na "AQF". Sa tabi nun may nakasulat if AQF bachelor, advanced diploma, or diploma.

@diskartepinay pwede ka magpa stat dec sa collegaue mo as long as mas mataas ang katungkulan nya sa yo.

Mga peeps, good morning. Quick question lang po. If let say ang tinapos nung college is Engineering pero all the professional work experiences ay under ng IT saan po ba ang assessment, sa ACS ba (based sa work experiences)?

@rich88 eto ung reply ng acs after ko magtanong sa result:

The ACS can only report on recognised, tertiary ICT qualifications.

Your qualification has been assessed as having insufficient ICT and therefore cannot be reported on your skill assessment result letter.

As you have been assessed under RPL, your suitable outcome was based on your ACS Project Report form and your experience.

If you would like your qualification recognised for points purposes you will need to contact the relevant assessing authority.

@mergetwo not sure if naalala ko pa completely pero so far here's what i can remember:
1. I lodged via the website. I think there was an option to either review or resubmit.
2. Note that if you go for a review, it can be 2 things: successful or unsuccessful. They will base the decision on the current documents that you have submitted. So if you know that you have enough proof then submit for review otherwise, you can just resubmit for assessment.

As for me, I resubmitted for review because I know my documents are aligned. They have enough proof. The result was successful, the review fee was refunded (i think around 395AUD).

As far as I know, they instantly deduct 2 years for bachelor's degree and 5 years or more for diploma. Also, if you have multiple experiences, make sure that your tasks are aligned with your applied occupation.

Just sharing...got my ACS result today, thank God it was assessed as Bachelor degree major in computing. Yun nga lang, 4 years yung na-deduct from my 10 years & 10 months work experience. So, I need to target 20 points sa pte...:( Or go for the visa 190 to make it 65 points provided na maka 10 points sa pte.

Your degree has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in Computing

Kaya lang four years yung dineduct sa work experience. May nakapag-appeal (successfully) na ba ng ganitong decision? Nabasa ko kasi na yung iba two years lang ang deduction.

@jp1978 depende kasi yun sa degree mo kung nka align fully sa nominated occupation. You can check using related units for each occupation here:
