Di ko na alam kung sa repeat sentence ba ako nagkamali parang 3/10 yung tama tlga yung rest kulang ako ng isang word pero natatapos ko isang sentence.

sa re-tell ba ako nagkulang? parang may pause kasi ako 1.5 sec..:( Di ko masundan eh.. Nagsusulat lang ako 5 sentences tapos babasahin ko nalang usually natatapos ng 35 sec yun.

64 lang ako sa speaking from 51. Ano ba gnawa mo?64 ka din sa umpisa pero tumaas yung grade mo eventually. Di na ako nakakaaral ng iba..speaking lang..pwd mo ba ako bgyan ng sample recording mo?:)hehe kung ok lang sayo:)

@peeedooooy I got 64 in speaking as well. How did you make it to 82? Mic positioning? Medyo mahirap kasi dito sa forum hindi naririnig yung sample response. puro description lang pwede masuggest hehe..:(

@kokoc ano po score nyo sa oral fluency at pronunciation? I got 90 po sa speaking hindi ko naman natama lahat ng repeat sentence siguro mga 70% sa read aloud ganun din out of 6 mga 2 lang ang sa tingin kong sakto lalo na sa re-tell lecture sa tatlo isa lang yung nagawa ko na related sa topic, pero di ako humihinto kahit alam kong mali to increase score in oral fluency.

@kokoc iworkout mo to increase your score. sa pronunciation maraming apps or podcast pwede ka magshadow technique to improve your oral fuency.

kung ano lang pumasok sa isip sa moment na yun basta salita lang ako ng salita. try mo ipratice na huwag tumigil until 40 seconds. nung una hirap din ako kasi gusto ko makuha kung ano yung content lately nadiscover ko na isang component lang pala yung content and mtaas yung hugot ng oral fluency tsaka pronunciation.

sabi nga nila practice makes perfect. kaya pracris lang.

@rawr oo may factor din yung malakas na boses. Computerized scoring kasi kaya pag mahina di narecognize ng computer yung sinasabi mo.

Guys! Help nman jan! Hirap talaga ako sa describe image, re tell lecture at summarizing into one paragraph. Based sa mga nabasa ko mor on oral frluency lang tinitignan nila sa re tell lecture. Not so much on the content. Is it safe to say na pag hndi ko msyado nagets yung topic magsalita lang ako ng magslita kahit hndi na related dun sa binigay?

Kahit papano sana related pa rin. Kaya may mga template na sinusundan sa Describe Image para di ka mauubusan ng sasabihin. Check mo yung mga Webinar ni E2 PTE sa Youtube. meron sila para dyan sa problem areas mo. Laking tulong nung Describe Image at Summarize Written Text webinar nila sa akin.

hi question lang dun sa "Answer short question", kung ang sagot sa tanong ay isang word lang, ok lang ba na mag-stop ka na magsalita after mo masabi ung sagot? Kasi kapag after 3 seconds nagstop ka magsalita, magsstop na din ung recording.

Or mas ok ba na i-click ko na lang ung next button?

@kokoc yung unang take ko nasabaw ako sa retell lecture

tipong 20secs pa lang tapos nako magsalita. and mahina pa boses ko nun. sa mga sumunod na take ko medyo malakas na and yung sa huling take nasa may ilong ko yung mic. eto yung mga tingin ko nabago ko per take :

1. mahina boses . di ok retell lecture ko 20secs lang responses. wala din conclusion masyadong nasabi.
2. gumamit na ako ng template sa retell lecture nyan. nilakasan yung boses. sinigurong nsa 30 plus seconds lahat ng responses. kaso nadali sa reading, tingin ko yung reorder at fill in the blanks ako my mali dito
3. same template used...sinulat na sa writing board para babasahin na lang. nasa may ilong na yung mic kasi narinig ko mas less yung air na naririnig sa mic pag ganun. nagpraktis ako sa reading sa maraming fill in the blank at reorder paragraphs

Here are my learning points when I took PTE
1. Listening...practice your ears, heavy accent would be easier to understand if you are used to it.
2. Reading...skim and scan, it works like magic and will save you a lot of time
3. Speaking...practice with phone sound recorder...read aloud like bbc news anchors..immitate...and morepractice..dont be shy..after all its one step closer to the au dream..
4. Writing...practice your typing skills while someone is talking. Also be aware of current issues such as labor contracting and women in the workplace..or formal exam vs practical exams in schools...develop your arguments but finish with a convincing conclusion.

@kokoc Hi Kokoc! Oo mic positioning. Nilagay sa ilalim ng bibig. Tpos nilakasan ko ang boses. 2 weeks ako puro speaking tests lang after nung mock test.

Sa Read aloud inemphasize ko ung mga 's' sa dulo. Tpos consistent lng pagbigkas

Sa repeat sentence nakinig ako BBC at CNN reports tapos inuulit2 ko

Ung sa describe image finollow ko ung isang advise na gagawa ng conclusion format like this: IN SUMMARY, THE GRAPH IS ACCURATE AND CONCISE AND COULD BE A HELPFUL REFERENCE FOR FURTHER STUDIES in ... halos lahat ng graph ganyan ang conclusion ko.
