    Hello! Im newbie here..dreaming of going to oz also. Student visa kasi hindi naman included yong work ko sa skills list.Pinakamahirap na requirements is yong financial(proof of evidence)Sa case ko 150 k dirhams.Its really hard to produce that amount.

    Hi @piglet24. The Australian visa application procedure can be summed down in three four easy steps.

    (1) Skills assessment (in your case, read and understand everything found in the EA website.
    (2) IELTS exam (read and understand everything found in the UOWD website or the British Council Dubai website.
    (3) When you get favorable results in both steps 1 and 2 (positive skills assessment and IELTS result of 7 in each category), submit an Expression of Interest.
    (4) Read and understand every single detail found in the GSM booklet while waiting for your invite to submit a visa application. Actually the booklet is the first thing you should read.

    Optional: If you want to be invited right away, apply for state sponsorship.

    About EA assessment, you may refer to this thread. Marami tayong mga engineers dito na makakasagot ng iyong mga katanungan.

    As for certifying docs, pina-Seen and Noted ko yun sa akin sa consulate. 100 per document and three days processing time. Kung pwede mong ipa-certify sa notary public sa pinas yung mga Philippine-based documents mas mura.

    tama si @metaform, kung okay nmn ang mga documents, you dont need to get a new one.. ipapanotarize mo lang sa lawyer (mas mura sa pinas).

    when i say okay nmn ang docs, i mean it will satisfy the requirements of EA.. for example, cert of employment should include, date of actual employment, if your regular employee, your salary, detailed job description, signed by your HR..

    @piglet24 - kailangan din notarized ang Cert of Employments with detailed job description.. unless you want to give them the original copy.. kailangan mo din kasi sya pagsubmit sa DIAC .. so its better notarized copy ang isubmit and keep the original..

    May list lang po na official centers na nagbibigay ng IELTS sa UAE.. yun ung binigay ni @metaform..

    Mga Kabayan question po: I am reading the VETASSESS requirements and one of those eh employment evidence. They are asking for statement of service from the Employer. Is this by any means similar, or the very exact, to EMployment Certificate? They are also asking for an evidence of paid employment. Thing is, my former employer was not giving payslips. Saka that time, I did not care to ask for one at all as long as nakukuha ko yung salary ko ng buo. hehee. Bank statement is okay kaya? We have WPS na db?

    sa pinas na employers ba yan? kung walang payslip, you may request for ITR copies or statement from BIR. kung dito naman, yes bank statements will do as long as nagre-reflect dun yung monthly deposits nila ng salary mo.

    June 30, 2012 : Took IELTS. Passed OB = 8.0
    August 24, 2012 : Applied at ECU
    September 18, 2012 : Received Letter of Offer from ECU
    September 20, 2012 : Applied at Murdoch Uni.
    October 18, 2012: Received Letter of Offer from Murdoch Uni.
    March 19, 2013: VETASSESS received my documents
    June 7, 2013: Skills assessment yielded positive result! :)
    June 7, 2013: EOI submitted
    June 17, 2013: Applied for WA SS
    June 27, 2013: Application for WA SS was successful! :)
    June 30, 2013: Signed the agreement
    July 1, 2013: Received invitation to apply for Visa SC 190
    July 21, 2013: Lodged Visa Application
    August 15, 2013: CO emailed me regarding additional documents. Currently in the Philippines. Applied for NBI clearance.
    August 27, 2013: Medical at St. Luke's. Pinabalik ako.haha!
    September 2, 2013: Received NBI Clearance.
    September 8, 2013: Back in UAE. Immediately applied for police clearance.
    September 10, 2013: Received UAE Police Clearance. Uploaded final documents.
    September 11, 2013: Visa Grant Notice received via email. Nostalgic. I miss you,mama. This is for you. I love you.
    February 10, 2014: Flight to Perth

    if you are talking about skills assessment, elementary diploma/records are not required po.. only college degree..

    Jan 04, 2012 - EA application submitted | Feb 23, 2012 - EA assessment result (IE ANZSCO 233511)
    May 8, 2012 - Lodged GSM 175 online application | June 4, 2012 - CO Allocated
    June 22, 2012 - Medicals Finalized | Aug 30, 2012 - PCCs Completed (PH, UAE, USA)
    Sep 3, 2012 - Visa Granted (IED Jun 11, 2013) Thank You Lord!
    Oct 16-28, 2012 - Initial Entry Completed - Sydney
    July 28, 2013 - Final move to Perth
    Sep 9, 2013 - Started work with the same company i worked for in UAE/USA
    Oct 28, 2013 - Moved to another company.. ;)

    May kakilala po ba kayong nagnonotarize ng mga documents dito sa abu dhabi?Isusubmit na kasi namin yong mga documents sa vetasses.Instead na ipadala pa sa Philippines, dito nalang sana to save time. Thank you in advance for your advise.
