    @sticky_note I take that subject as per assessment by CA Australia. Together with that assessment, they provided a list of accredited uni for a candidate to choose from. mag google ka lang ng uni, marami naman lalabas e. As mentioned in my previous post, around 2k per subject depende sa uni.

    Hi I'm a 475 visa holder for WA and would like to ask if accredited ba ang CIMA sa australia? I'm thinking of taking this program or anu mas ok ba to give accountants an edge to land a job in western australia? Thanks . Hopefully someone can help me. We are planning to move in May 2013 but while waiting I want to "upgrade" my credentials na if it helps .:)

Entry level position with min salary pero ok na din to for me to gain local exp. i think nakatulong un MYOB course na kinuha ko kasi isa sa reqt un sa job ad. Tyaga tyga lng, baka mas mblis ka mkhnp ng work kesa sa kin. =)
    wow congrats! buti ka pa hehehe... wala pa rin ako eh. karamihan nga ng nakikita kong work myob ang hanap. meron ako myob software kaso click click lang ako, parang self tutorial. pwede kaya yun or naghahanap talaga mga companies ng training certificate? thanks

    @Silhouette hello! Thanks! May certificate ako pro di naman hinanap sa company ko. Pro sa interview ang sinasabi ko kumuha ako ng course at nilagay ko sa resume kun kelan at kun san ko knuha. Madali lang un software. Apply apply ka lang then sa interview mo na lng mention kun pano ka nagkaron ng myob exp. sa work ko ngaun, d na ko namili ng sweldo. Kc local exp hanap ko. Tyaga muna kahit 1 yr then saka na lng hanap uli. Goodluck!

    Hi! I think CIMA is recognized naman dito. pro natry mo na mag check sa job board (seek.com / mycareer.com/ applydirect.com) ng positions na gusto mo applyan? They are mentioning it kasi dun kun anong qualifications ang hnahanap nla. Sguro dun mo base un "upgrade" sa credentials mo para mas mablis ka mkahanap ng work. Good luck!

    @balletshoes sent an appeal to CPAA - binigyan na sya ng positive assessment after submitting an appeal letter. ang reply sa kanya came in one week before our letter I believe... :)

    Hello @dwayti - check mo yung requirements ng mga assessing bodies for accountants (ie. CPAA, ICAA, etc); meron kasing mga core knowledge area that you need to pass in order for you be be given a favourable assessment. You check your college subjects versus these core knowledge area.

    You may want to take note that these subjects are very heavy in accounting. The subjects you took as a banking and finance grad may not be sufficient to the requirements of the assessing bodies.

    Ahahaha, anytime @dwayti - yung bossing ko kasi is also an accountant in profession. she applies for it and takes the IELTS test whilst I do all the research, documentation and bayad (ahahahah!! :))

    If pasok ka 4/4 sa mandatory then it should hopefully be okey... Take heed though as they might be very fuzzy about the subject content most especially in this Accounting Theory mandatory area for CPA Australia. Basta I would strongly recommend that if you do take the migration assessment, you should present a very strong subject syllabus that is very complete (my wife's was 99 pages in total). Added to that, it would help if you can give them a tabular presentation of your subjects and their corresponding core knowledge area as per your understanding. At least this is what we did to my wife's application.

    i think she got it from the dean and was signed by both dean and registrar.
