Then next year, mag-apply sya ng PR. If granted a visa, saka ako magchange as his dependent.
Maraming salamat.

Mahirap nga Kuya Dan. Pero sana if matuloy ako sa July, by January of next year makasunod na sya. Salamat sa pagtulong sa mga kababayan. God bless po.

Feb 2014 - Got my first student visa (subclass 573)
Feb 2014 to Dec 2014 - Completed Master of Laws at Uni (CRICOS 52 Weeks)
Feb 2015 to Dec 2015 - Completed Graduate Diploma in Aus Law (CRICOS 52 Weeks)
Feb 2016 to Sep 2016 - Completed Graduate Cert in Prof Legal Practice CRICOS 35 Weeks)
My questions:
1. Would I be qualified for Post-Study Work Stream as I have a Masters degree? I am just worried because my Masters degree was only 1 year (52 weeks) and was completed on Dec 2014 (contrary to the Australian study requirement of 92 weeks completed in the last 6 months). Where will they reckon the computation of 6 months, is it from the date of completion of my masters degree (Dec 2014) or date of completion of my graduate certificate (Sep 2016)?
2. If I fail to qualify on the Post-Study Work Stream because of the 92 weeks/6 mos study requirement, would I still be qualified to the other stream (Graduate Work Stream) even if my first visa was granted after 5 Nov 2011? My assumption was I may still be qualified here as the list of the application requirements in Form 1409 never stated that this stream is only limited to persons whose first student visa was granted before 5 Nov 2011.
I have consulted several migration agents but their answers are conflicting to each other. Thank you in advance.

mag inquire po sana ako regarding schools, had an offer from uni and institute, obviously mas mura si institute which is very convincing and ready to take that path. i asked my cousin na nasa Melb na naging successful for studying and now PR na cya but he went uni. he told me baka daw masayang if institute lang then mag ulit ako pag nasa AU na ako. so may i humbly ask for a very serious advice regarding this matter po? below is my inquiry..
me: BS IT, working for more than 10yrs - IT Sr. Manager
age: 39
looking at: Kent Institute - Bachelors of Science in Business - Specialization in Management or Information Systems. (mas mura and pasok sa budget)
what if University? Master in Information Technology?
question: would you think okay si Kent afterwards to get PR? pointing system ang worry ko baka mababa? then as well a decent job?
please advise po,
Thanks!

Ako naman Accounts Assistant for 6 yrs. Can he work unlimitied hours?
I badly need your inputs on the above guys. Thank you so much!

1) I was granted my research scholarship a few months before the semester was supposed to start so I had to request for it to be moved and they approved it. I believe you just have to ask.
2) According to DIBP: "If you are doing a postgraduate course, such as a Masters degree, your family members can work unlimited hours once you start your study." - so yes, if your initial budget allows you to bring your partner, then sabay na kayo. That's what I did and by God's grace, nakahanap ng work ang partner ko a couple of months after arriving. It was a big help in terms of the finances.
3) Self-study lang din ako for my IELTS and, if my memory serves me right, my writing task involved a process cycle of some sort but don't fret, all the information you need will be in that paragraph describing such diagram. It's just a matter of practicing talaga and check if you were able to address the task.
God bless and good luck! Cheers!

Not sure if this is the right thread to post. Plan ko kasi either mag apply for Skilled worker visa or continue my grad school in Au.
i am currently taking my Masters degree here in PH. may chance ba na yung mga subj na nakuha ko e credited sa Au? yung parang nag transfer ka sa school ganon? sorry wala talaga ako idea if possible sya or mag start ule ako from scratch. Malapit na kasi ako matapos sa MS ko pero mas nangingibabaw yung pag migrate sa Au if ever. so naisip ko, what if mag student visa nalang ako sa Au.
btw, MSECE pala kinukuha ko, BSECE undergrad ko
Thanks
