@diskartepinay / everyone, 3 months po ako nagaral pero not everyday kasi may work ako and I spend quality time pdin with my girlfriend and our families. per week, nag aalot ako ng 3 days.

Monday - 8-11pm or max 3hours
Wednesday - 8-11pm or max 3 hours
Saturday - atleast 7 hours

nag avail din ako nung mock exam gold kit from ptepractice.com which is very good kasi makikita mo tlga kng saan ka mahina and kung saan ka mas dapat magfocus. Good luck po sa lahat and God bless

@diskartepinay I actually prepared 1-2 months before the exam date. Since hectic ang schedule ko (M-W 3pm-12mn and Th-F 8am-5pm), I allot 2-3hrs per day. I have a checklist on the types of PTE exam and once I have practiced (and somehow felt comfy and confident), I scratch it off from my list tapos proceed na agad sa another type of exam. You can purchase Silver/Gold kit via AECC then use it a month before the exam date para alam mo kung saan ka mag-aadjust to improve your scores. In my case, na-expire lang yun Silver kit ko. Pero nagkaroon ako ng idea sa flow ng exam dahil sa review materials ko. I will share all of these by weekend.

Automatic mag ssend. pero pag di nyo tinick yan. Pede nyo manually i-send. May nakita ako scenario dto, na hindi na-automatic send yung scores to DIBP kaya ni-request sya ng CO to send.

@Heprex Thanks for pointing it out. Pero bakit kaya nagsend auto-send sa DIBP after ko magsubmit ng EOI? Hindi kaya dahil naka-specify yun PTE ref id sa EOI, kaya may auto-send ng score report?

@MissM I inquired thru their chat. Same explanation na sinabi ni sir @Heprex . Nag try ako mag schedule ulit ng exam and meron ngang box na tinitick regarding sa pag send sa results to DIBP.

Hi everyone, I just want to thank everyone in this forum, especially to @sammybear @Budoy @auitdreamer @albertus1982 @kymme @batman (and s mga hnd ko n po nabanggit) n sumagot sa mga pm ko at nagbigy ng advices s PTE. I got a superior mark nrn after months of study. As a way of giving back, let me share some tips n ginamit ko during the exam.

Rule 1 - Study hard, pray harder. Do your part sa pag aaral, and ipabahala nyo n lng ky God lahat on the day of the exam. Tiwala lang.

Speaking - surprisingly, I got high marks in this section kahit n 69 ang Oral fluency ko. How did that happen? S read aloud, I believe I did very well dto although, i noticed 2/3 mistakes s pronunciation and my naidagdag ako n word n hnd ksama sa transcript. I think ito ung humila tlga s score ko n speaking

TIP - do few facial, tongue and mouth exercises before the exam. I've noticed n mas madali kong mabigkas ung mga words n nabubulol ako after I did some exercise. Check youtube for videos.
- lagi din po sinsabi dto to speak continuously. Meron po akong 1/2 describe image part n i was lost for words however, i was able to come back to my senses and nakapgsalita ulit until few seconds before the time limit
- write down your template sa describe image and s re-tell lecture. I used the extra time given s preparation ng read aloud to do this.

Writing - i just did what others advised. I made sure n ung essay ko was 280-290. I only got 1 essay question (luckily).
- s summarize written text nmn - i summarized each paragraph muna then combine ko cla in one sentence. If hindi kya macombine in one sentence, I gave priority in stating the topic and sa kung ano ung conclusion/summary stated s final paragraph ng transcript.

Reading - this is the miracle for me. I honestly did not understand ung mga essays sa multiple choice questions because i was so focused sa time. I just got lucky here.
Pero sa fill in the blanks, madali lng tong section n to if you are familiar with collocations. So kinig kinig lng at basa basa lng lagi ng collocations videos s youtube prin.

Listening - ang tip ko lng dto is to take down ung naririnig ntn, this helped alot lalo n dun sa s Higlight Correct Summary. Mejo tricky ito for me pero pag my notes k mas madali mong maicocompare ung options dun sa sinulat mo.
- Summarize spoken text - i have one instance here n isang phrase lng ung nanote ko sa cinabi ng speaker and hnd ko rin xa naintindihan. Ang sinulat ko dto was part of the template ko s re-tell lecture and describe image... "Overall the speaker was clear and informative in discussing the details of the topic." I also made sure n abot ng 65-68 words ung summary ko. kahit n going around the bush na.

@anonymousprincess sobrang tagal ng 13 days para sa result. wala siyang narerecceive na email kung uploaded na yung scores niya? tumawag na ba siya to check or nagcheck ba siya online para sa result niya?

Hello guys I want to share my experience with PTE Academic exam. PTE exam format is really tough compare to ILETS. But, to prepare yourself for PTE main test you can get the help from mock tests. This will helps you to get more score in PTE.

just did my PTE exams last month...it was my first time ...had my two paid practice test and for my actual test, my score in speaking was 72....tips ko lang na just speak naturally and if may comma try to read it na pataas ang ton ng boses mo (never na pababa dahil i accept yan ng computer na nag stop ka na) then just focus on what you are doing and reading...never get distracted by your seatmates...i took mine here in La Trobe, CBD Melbourne. Good luck
