However may application talaga sa visa 175 na mabagal at mabilis ang processing, it all depends on individual circumstances.

Depende po sa occupation niyo kung ano klaseng IELTS ang dapat kunin...Academic for students, teachers, accountants, nurses etc...General Training would suffice for most other occupations.
@jaero, sir congrats uli..bale wala pang 1 year nagrant po ang 175 visa niyo? Kasama na dun yung additonal requirements like medical?

Refer to your assessing authority on what module is to take. Unless you are required to do otherwise by your assessing authority you only need to take the GENERAL TRAINING test.
Reading test on General Training is a whole lot easier than Academic. Try to learn some techniques. Example: read the questions first before you read the passage.
Continuous practice is imperative to score 7.0 in all test components.

Everything else is the same with GT.
Hi @mickey! You want to get the contact details? I only have the email add though.
@gemini23, Based s mga naririnig ko.. you are allowed 6 months pa for your initial entry. Dapat within 6 months eh maka-lipad ka ng Au! ^_^

@katlin924 : congratulations for passing IELTS with flying colors. You are just a few steps near the finish line.
initial entry for High Risk country (like Phils) is one year from the date medical examination was held.
I took my medical exam on Aug. 16, 2011, visa granted on Sept. 19, 2011 and my initial entry is: Aug 3, 2012.

Lurker kasi ako britishexpats at pomsinoz. Meron dun 5 days lang visa grant na. State sponsored sya 176. One day lng ng pag-lodge nya, kinabukasan may CO na. Then nagpa-medical kaagad sya using e-health. 3 days lang visa grant na sya after medical. Nepalese yata sya.
Secondly, ang nilagay kong preferred State: Perth or Adelaide.

@tootzkie, when you mention a preferred state in the application form(visa 175 app), say Perth/Adelaide, After the visa has been granted, can I opt to fly to another state like Melbourne?
Since it is assumed na yung choice of location is a factor (just an assumption), we can put these locations that they are prioritizing on the application form.

Reading test on General Training is a whole lot easier than Academic. Try to learn some techniques. Example: read the questions first before you read the passage.
Continuous practice is imperative to score 7.0 in all test components.

Everything else is the same with GT.

Eto ang napansin ko. Firstly, single kasi ako, no dependent meaning paper ko lang ipa-process. Secondly, ang nilagay kong preferred State: Perth or Adelaide.
