Simple lng resume dito. D kelangan ng pics since form of discrimination un.
Sa resume ko Inuna ko un skills ko at ang level of knowledge ko dito. (ie basic , intermediate, advance) Like un excel skills, ms office skills, ERP/acctg systems skills.
Tpos un work experience na. Naglalagay ako ng brief info bout my previous company na pde naman mkuha sa net. Pra may idea sila kun anong anong industry un. may siningit din akong quantitative info para mas maassess nla un in a bird's eye view kun gano kalaki or profitable un dati kong company.
Importante sa bwat application is yung cover letter. Bullet point style ang gngamit ko pra i-outline kun bkt fit ako sa job. Depdeng eto sa job post na inaapplyan ko. Pra daw mapansin agad ng recruiter kung bkt ka fit sa job na yun. Which is true kumpara sa paragraph style lng.
Good luck sa job hunt. Magapply appy ka na. Pra pagdating mo dito, interview na agad. GBU

I'm not an accounting grduate. But I have my financial and management acctg taken in my masters then nag awol ako. When I've applied for membership sa CPA australia, they've considered my undergrad degree as "meeting CPAA's degree requirement and exempted me in economics and quants pati foundations of accounting. Then they requested for a course outline of my accounting subjects for possible further exemptions (results should come out within the week). I'm planning to complete all the gaps in the foundation level sana but im worried kung after completion eh i coconsider nila lahat un for my nominated occupation-management accountant-sa migration assessment.
I have almost 5 yrs(1.3 yrs in financial risk management and 2.6 yrs in a bank's treasury group managing cost of funds, investments, etc).
Does anyone share the same experience with me? Any inputs lang coz medyo magastos ung mga subjects and not to mention ung time na kylangan magaral for the exam.

Case in point here, ang wife ko who is an accountant got a very good skills assessment wherein she got 12/12 in the core knowledge area. She applied as well for assessment as part of supposed plan to gain membership in CPA Australia, the irony here is that she is was not able to pass 3 courses in the foundation level. Worth noting though is that iba ang nag-assess sa skills assessment niya and her foundation level; skills assessment was done in the global HQ in Melbourne whilst the foundation levels assessment was done locally here in Singapore.

foundation level kasi is divided into 2 categories (4mandatory and 5optional subjects). It differs from every ANZSCO occupations (accountant general, mngmt acct, corp treasurer). Baka ung nominated occupation ng wife mo na meet na agad ung 4 mandatory subjects, meaning na take na nya sa undergrad; ung 3 subjects is optional lang just in case she decided to be fully become a CPAA member. This is my opinion only on their labelling between mandatory and optional for migration:
" A. You will be required to complete mandatory core knowledge areas depending on the Australian and New Zealand standard classification of occupations (ANZSCO) code you have nominated. In addition, you must also complete at least a further five optional core knowledge areas. "
Actually, im not hoping na irerecognize pa nila work experience ko. Habol ko lang is 65 pts.
Age: 30 pts
IELTS: 20 pts (started preparing for this already since I need an 8 for all subtest).
Educational qualification:??
This where my dilemma is since I need to nominate an Occupation in SOL 1 which is mgmt accountant nga. Since magkahiwalay naman ang awarding of points/assessment for education qualification and skilled employment, i think, i just need to make my qualification as close to my nominated occupation as possible since hindi ako cpa. Kaya I've applied for membership muna.
