Hi, Im newbie in this forum, need ko lang ng advise kung paano magapply sa Australia.
eto po qualifications ko; may relatives ako sa Australia na willing magbigay ng sponsor and binigyan ako link ng agent. pero gusto ko lang hingi ng advise if ever ako magprocess on my own/independent. ano requirements at 1st step.

see below my qualifications:
1. I have relatives in Sydney and Melbourne (uncle)
2. age band score 25
3. ielts - not yet taken (required ba kumuha agad ng ielts agad?)
4. licensed architect in Philippines
5. Exp in Philippines - 4yrs
6. Overseas experience dubai - almost 9yrs
6. not yet married
7. present work less than a yr- freelance architect at part owner ng build and sell business here in philippines.

please advise, thanks in advance:)

Ask lang kung kasama ba requirements or dapat ba na meron kang employment offer from employer bago ka mag apply ng SS. TY!

@studio719 I mean sa Visa 489 VicSS, what I read from others sa thread na ito hindi sila maka go sa option na mag visa489 for additional 5 points dahil na kasama sa basic qualification na dapat meron kang Job offer para mainvite ng VicSS.

@dorbsdee separate EOI para sa 2 SS then kung sino unang nagrant sayo yun ang i-go mo and then automatically you will received invitation to apply for visa.

yes, for visa 489 in VIC you need job offer as fas as I know.

Tanong ko lang po.

1. Ano po process for vic SS? summary lang po. like nomination then lodge? or dadaan pa ng EOI?
2. di kasi ako qualified dun sa skilled na stream kasi need ng 2 years exp. ask ko lang if pwede ako sa graduate stream. i did 1 year bachelor in nursing but western australia. pwede ba kahit ibang state? nasa vic ako at the moment and may work ako as an RN.

@Heprex hi. Nabanggit nyo po na mag antay na lang kayo ng july para sa ss. May idea po kayo gano katagal kayo mag aantay? Ilang pts po kyo? Kase sa 2335 din ako, ie, 60pts. May chance po kaya mainvite? Thanks

@Grifter depende sa trend ng invite for 2335 stating july. Wala pa din naman bagong SOL and new ceiling na nairelease ng DIBP. 2335 din ako 65 pts. EOI lodge date feb2017. Kung proficient ka in English pwede mo try Victoria SS.

@joseflim It is closed until June 30 only, unless mag notice ulit sila to extend yung ICT nomination closure.

Does anyone here applying for visa 190 NSW under occupation 233512 - mech. Engineer? Just want to know how long should I have to wait to be invited, currently i have only 55 points + 5 for SS. Wla bng offer n online course ang AU related to my profession n kpag ngenroll ako ay mkakapagadd ng overall points s akin and if so ganu ktgal kya bgo ko mtpos ung online course nla?

It says here:

• NSW Department of Industry selects and invites
the highest ranking candidates in each occupation
to apply for NSW nomination.
• NSW issues invitations on an ongoing basis. There
is no timeframe to expect an invitation.
• The invitation contains a link to the NSW online
application form.
• Invitations are not guaranteed and NSW does not
provide status updates on individual EOIs

Considered pa din ang score so hard to tell yung timeline. Check below link for your other state options.

@jiomariano Advisable b n gumawa ulit ako ng another EOI account to apply for 190 tpos icheck ko ung lahat ng lugar? Right now xe ang status ng EOI ko is waiting for invitaion for almost 7 months under 190 only and NSW lng ung pinili ko at kung iupdate ko ito pra iselect lhat ng ibang lugar lalo ako tatagal ryt xe prang pumila ulit ako. what u think is the best option for me while waiting for my PTE results? thanks

@PinoyMech PTE should be accepted regardless which state since may direct translation yung scoring vs IELTS. I'm not sure sa 2nd query mo, di ako sigurado kung magrereset ba yung EOI date of effect kung dadagdagan lang yung preferred states at wala naman nagbago sa points claimed. Besides, if makakakuha ka ng mataas na PTE score, mag uupdate at maguupdate ka pa din naman ng EOI. Personally, I'd update the old one since 7 mos without invite from NSW is somehow a bad sign and who knows baka may state na magustuhan qualifications mo. Parehas tayo ng occupation group kaya alam kong stiff ang competition para sa 2335, on the last invitation round, you need 65 pts and lodged Nov of last year to get an invite sa 189. I hope you ace your PTE para tumaas po chances nyo!

Ask ko lang po kung pwede na po ba mag submit ng EOI for VIC SS para magkaroon na ng EOI Number? and then para pag nag open na si VIC SS for ICT Occupation after June 30 mas mapadali yung pag apply sa VIC nomination online web? Or dapat hintayin na muna na malift yung closure saka gumawa ng EOI?. I would appreciate po to receive your feedback mga sir and madam. Thanks!

If closed siya until June 30, does that mean I cannot submit an EOI for subclass 190-VIC SS?

@jiomariano base on your experience is it guaranteed to get an invitation if I achieve 65 points upon applying for visa 189 under 2335 Occupation? How many months should I wait again to get an invite if ever I apply for this visa with 65points? and how long to get an invite under 190 if I had 70 points?

@jiomariano Thank you again for this very helpful info. But I noticed in the profession;
2339-Other Engineering Professionals it exceeds the occupation ceiling 1018 out of just 1000. Does this mean immigration allows it?

Hello po. May I just be clarified po regarding sa state sponsorship or skilled visa. yung mga guru po regarding sa mga visa are very much welcome to comment.

I have a sister who is a doctor sa Pinas. She just graduated from her Neurology residency sa UP-PGH and reviewing for her diplomate exam. Ngayon po balak po din niya pumunta dito sa Australia and balak din niyang magexam ng Australian Board ng Physician. Now my question po is pwede po ba siyang apply for direct PR (State sponsorship or Skilled Visa) granting she passed the Aus board exam. Ang isa pa po is may nakapagsabi sa akin about state sponsorship sa tasmania wer she will serve tasmania for 2 or 4 yrs? pag na PR n po sya pde daw sya magsponsor ng isang relative after yr? tama po ba mga info na ito? thanks po sa mga sasagot.
