@ykcul_kcul Hi, sa pagkakaalala niya it refers to the uni here in Au where you finished your course. They will send some documents to AHPRA.

If I'm not mistaken not more than 3mos of study. Wala nga lang yung work rights pag TV. Feel free to ask anytime :)

@ykcul_kcul If I'm not mistaken, 3mos ka lang allowed na magaral under TV. Ang TV pwedeng 3/6/12mos depende sa ibibigay sayo ng immigration pero ang study rights niya is not more than 3mos and you really have to go home after certain mos kahit pa 1yr yung binigay sayo. Hindi siya pwedeng tuloy tuloy. Pag yung course mo is more than 3mos, you have to get a different visa. This is if hindi pa nagbabago yung rules ng immigration.

@jhocel I see, Get an English test and see if you can meet the requirements for the bridging course if you have an experience or if not you can do a conversion course. All the best. Yeah, try to do it as soon as you can habang di pa nagbabago yung ruling nila rito sa Au. :)

Hello guys. I'm nurse and wanting to go for bridging program in aus. I just passed the PTe exam and now completing my docs for AHPRA assessment. Ang worry ko lang is that I already stopped working as a nurse for almost a year na. Ma approve pa kaya ako ng AHPRA? But I got 6 yrs hospital experience from year 2009-2016. Thanks po

@jhocel That's good. I would say not to rely on any sponsorship but to come up with another plan just in case wala kang makuhang work. It's harder now since they're already abolishing the 457 visa and the process now for employers are harder than before. They've been imposing a lot of changes these past few days.
Pag hindi naman sponsorship ang habol mo, maraming work for nurses that's for sure. As long as you have a good overseas experience especially If it's in a specialty area then hindi ka mahihirapang makahanap ng work.

@jhocel At the moment, I'm not quite sure kung ano ang scenario with the work sponsorship visa since just few days ago, they have just announced new ruling which abolishes the old 457 Visa. If you have 3yrs work experience in a hospital, there's a chance that you can get one. Once you gain your registration, you can hand in your resume to Agencies here in Au. They will pass your CV to employers and if they like you, you'll get an interview. Just be confident and speak fluently in English. Make sure that your referees are aware that employers might call them to ask about the details written on your CV and reference letter.
If you have a good experience and meet the required points for PR, i would suggest that you apply for it instead especially with all the drastic changes that are happening lately.

Ang alam ko pag TV, yung study ay dapat not more than 3mos, I'm not sure if it's still the rule though sa dami ng changes.

Question guys, to whoever took the PTE here. Sa may information given when I booked the test, nakalagay doong ititick ko ba if I consent to forward my result to DIBP for the processing of working or student visa. eh chineck ko yun. Now na nakapasa na ako, may email sa akin na ifoforward na nila yung result ko sa DIBP, ok lang ba yun? kasi yung PTE ko is for the AHPRA registration na.

    please help. :(
