@miranda82 ganda ng scores mo. sana makuha mo na yung sa speaking. hindi po ako masyadong fluent sa english pero sa awa ng Diyos naka 90 ako sa twice kong PTE exam. eto po tips and strategy ko sa speaking.

- take a deep breath 3-2 secs before magstart yung recording. this way, you can control your pace and breathing.
- yung position ko ng mic is sa gitna ng nose and mouth
- click ko agad ang next if tapos na ako sa isang item para di na marecord mga unwanted sounds
- speak with confidence using template. mas maganda kabisadong kabisado mo yung template para smooth lang pagsasalita mo. wala akong conclusion sa re-tell lecture. here are the templates i used. galing din po ito dito sa forum (hindi akin itong template)

Retell Lecture: Ang ginawa ko dito nagsulat ako ng 2-3 sentences na sinabi sa lecture. After ko makapagjot down hindi na ako nakinig sa ibang sinabi. Binasa ko yung sentences na nakuha ko sa lecure para pagdating ng recording tuloy tuloy ko syang babasahin. Kung ano yung sentence na sinabi sa lecture same na same yung sinabi ko.

The lecture was regarding ________ and a significant amount of time was spent discussing around this topic. The lecture concluded after all the data points were discussed completely. To summarize his/her analysis, he/she pointed out that ________. (sinabi ko yung 2-3 sentences na sinulat ko, wala akong conclusion)

@lizzzie yung first part ng exam is speaking, hindi ako nagtatagal dun kasi everytime i complete the question, i go to the next. Yung reading which is my weakness, medyo bumagal ako dun. kaso may time dine kasi each module so you have to answer fast.

Know your weakness and work on it. Sa IELTS, reading ako sumimplang. kaya i know when i take PTE, i have ti work on it.

@albertus1982 wow galing mo! Di ko din mawari bakit ambaba ko sa speaking, ginamit ko naman yung mga templates as suggested dito sa forum. Feeling ko kasi baka ambilis ko magsalita ang medyo nakakain ko na words ko, or yung positioning ng mic, or other technical concerns. So nung nagtake ako ulit last Feb 17 medyo sinakto ko lang yung pacing ng pagsasalita ko. Sana nga makapasa na this time. Ganda ng template mo, thanks for sharing

Advice rin, wag nyo na isipin mshado ang content. Tendency kasi natin, pag may mali nasabi hihinto ng konti or mag stutter. Ako salita lang ng salita. Yung tipong kahit ako makakarinig masasabi ko, 'ano daw??!' Haha. Basta salita lang ako ng salita. Naka superior ako, 2nd try nga lang. hehe

At gamitin ang time sa mic tests. Basta may marinig kayong hangin, wag kayo titigil kakaadjust. Para sa akin parang yun lang ang difference ng 1st and 2nd try ko e. Yung mic. Tapos dinagdagan ko ng madaming prayers

guys concern ko lang sa speed ng pag sasalita, i have the tendency to speak faster talaga kaya ng stutter ako, sometimes i tried to slow down and usually 30-35 seconds ko xa natatapos peru parang feel ko super bagal naman. :l

@debbie09 Keep it consistent. Kung ano speed mo sa read aloud, ganun din dapat speed mo sa other parts. What I did nung nagpapractice and actual e ginamit ko yung mga kamay ko. Para kang nag eexplain tapos kumakampay yung mga kamay hehe. You'd be surprised how helpful that is.

another question pala, san kayo nakapagtake ng exam? Meron ba here in Makati? i checked kasi yun website ng PTE and based dun sa list ng Test Centers nila dito sa PH, parang di naman informative haha Manila lang nakasulat then wala man lang address kung saan.

Hello Everyone, this is my first time to post here at PTE forum and Im asking for your help guys as I dont know how PTE works but I did some research in youtube and I dont know where to start po. Hi guys, just got my results L/R/S/W 83/74/73/86..thanks sa inyo. With this I can go ahead with the assessment, but will take again to get 20 points. Now I know where to focus, describe image and retell lecture and reading. Mababa kasi oral fluency ko. Anyway, I'm so grateful for these scores. Am confident I'll do better the second time.

Guys, I took the test on April 17th 3PM in Makati. I just used the template shared here pagdating sa speaking section. Lahat ng conclusions ko sa describe image iisa lang. Pati sa re-tell lecture, iisa lang din ang conclusion ko. Effective naman sila. Sa mock tests kasi bagsak ako pareho sa speaking so dun lang ako medyo nagprepare. Tapos sa mic medyo matagal ko sya inayos. I made sure na malinaw at walang ibang noise na nasasagap pag nagsasalita ako. Medyo malakas din yung boses ko.

For describe image:

The information is accurate and consice. This graph can be used as a reference for future studies with a similar topic.

For re-tell lecture:

The speaker was able to discuss the topic briefly and provide the necessary information.

Yung template for describe image, 10 seconds ang inaabot sakin. Sa re-tell lecture naman 5 seconds. So dapat alam mo kung kelan mo dapat sasabihin yan para di ka maubusan ng oras.

Last and most important tip, uulitin ko lang, placement ng mic talaga. Yung paghinga mo dapat hindi maririnig habang nagsasalita.

Sa writing parang 240+ words lang essay ko.
The day before the exam nagbasa ko re global warming. Napansin ko kase madaming essay questions tunkol dun. (D ko maalala kung san ko nabasa/ napanood na may question re sa effect ng mga baka sa global warming. Anong malay ko naman?! Hehe) Un iba kaseng questions parang practical lang, medyo madaling sagutin. Tapos sa exam sakto global warming nga tanong. Buti nakapagbasa ako kaya may naisulat ako.

ang naging struggle ko naman sa speaking e walang timer, status bar lang. Hindi ko alam kelan hihinto. May 4x ata akong na cut. Tapos nung napansin kong naka cut ako, huminto naman ako agad, di ko tuloy sure kung masyado naman maaga pag stop ko. Any suggestion po pano i manage un oras based sa status bar?

@miranda82 @Grifter buti pa kayo may result na. saken may problem yung file, may e-mail this morning time was 1:19AM kaso lang di ko maview yung result.

Ang nakalagay is "Technical problems are preventing us from displaying candidate photograph at this time"...

blanko lahat yung score form lang ang meron...

@miranda82 check mo enabling scores mo sa speaking at dun ka magfocus kung san pwede mag improve. If may budget pa magpasked na agad habang may momentum. Kayang kaya yan. Try mo yung tips ko

I cannot access my scores T.T bakit po kaya ganon? I have received an email saying i can see my scores online. Pero once i click view score report. Blank result lng lumalabas. No details.
