hi @xee , if already assessed to sit for an AIMS exam, you should apply in writing using the application form that they will send you na kasama sa examination pack. they should receive your application before June 1.., kung Sept ka mag exam.

@gerard sorry hindi ko na maalala kung handwritten sinubmit ko..

Ano ba nakalagay sa form? May nakalagay ba na handwritten? Kung wala at BLOCK letters lang nakalagay.. pwede mo fill ung form kung may PDF editor ka.. or kung kaya mo convert to Word.. kung mas hassle ung ganon.. handwritten and scan mo na lang.. just make sure naka-block letters at maayos pagkakasulat..

Usually for PDF forms.. ang ginagamit ko ung 'Preview' na software ng Mac.. pwede mo i-edit ung PDF kahit hindi sya fillable na PDF form..

Do whatever is more convenient for you.. impt lang i-follow ung instructions..

@lecia the assessment takes about 6 to 8 weeks bago mo makuha ung result.. so mejo tight kung ngaun ka pa lang mgsa-submit ng docs mo.. malamang d aabot ng June 1..

pero kung ready na lahat ng docs mo.. email mo AIMS kung kaya ihabol for Sep na exam..

@raspberry0707 na submit ko na yung sa assement..nareceive na nila..antay na lang ng result..hahabol sana ako pero alanganin para sa June 1..nag email na ako na sana maka take ako ng September na exam..

@lecia may ka-batch ako na ngtake ng exam before na hindi aabot ung result ng AIMS initial assessment nia sa deadline ng submission ng docs for the exam.. pero pinayagan siyang humabol.. so wait ka na lang sa email ng AIMS kung pwede ka humabol..

Hello everybody, I salute you all for I can see that there is a lot of co-operation and generous sharing of experiences here.

I've sent my application for assessment on 27th march, that's exactly 6 weeks ago, still haven't got the results.

I'd please like to know whether AIMS notifies applicants by email when the assessment result is sent by post.

I mean how could we know that the assessment is completed?

As far as I can remember, there is no email notification. Try to email them about the status of your application.

Good day po ask ko lang po sa mga nagtake last march, nag email po ang aims stating the tracking number for my exam results, tama po ba na sa Australia post (Mypost) issearch yung tracking number? Stated po kasi sa email na nasend na nila last May 12 pero same problem po, pending lang yung status. Di ko po kasi alam kung need ko ba mahabol yung deadline for sept 2017 exam, kung di fail man po o ano. Hope ma enlighten niyo po ako salamat!

@Thena Hi! The results were already dispatched from the AIMS office. Yung mails natin are still in the Post office waiting to be scanned, once its done we'll be able to track them. Since bulk mail yon it might take time bago maenter sa system ng Australian post and it's a weekend so try checking tomorrow or on Tuesday.
I also sent an email to AIMS to clarify as to whether they would consider accepting applications after June 1 if ever I didnt pass the exam and fail to receive my result before the said deadline for September schedule. Still have to wait for their response.☺️

@raspberry0707 Hi. Nagtitingin ako sa Seek ng job openings for med lab scientist. May idea ka ba kung anong ibig sabihin ng medical scientist grade 1?

@chelle that's the same as Med Lab Scientist.. grade 1 ung entry level.. yung grading nila ng MLS.. parang ganito..

MLS grade 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and so on..
MLS grade 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and so on..

May MLS grade 3 din ata..

So sa MLS grade 1 na opening.. depende sa experience mo anong ibbgay na level.. ngstart ako sa MLS grade 1.3.. so parang 3 years MLS exp after graduation lang equivalent nun..

Thanks. Naaalangan kasi ako kung pwde ko ba applyan or hindi. Salamat. Nga pala, kahapon ko lang nalaman na pwede din pala ako magapply sa ibang state as long as sa designated areas, anywhere expect Sydney, New Castle, Wollongong and Brisbane. Kinonfirm ko kahapon sa immigration kasi wala opening dito sa Perth. At least lumawak ang pwde ko applyan.

Hi. I just want to ask, if you pass all the necessary docs before june 1, then you are eleigible to take the sept exam. Pwede ba na hindi pa sa sept mag take? Like purpose ko lang is magpa assess lang ako then sa march pa ako mag take. Thank you

@veronicalcole para saan ba yung mga docs na pinasa mo? For AIMS assessment lng ba? Or for exam na? If for professional assessment lng sa AIMS as far as I know it depends on you kung kelan mo gusto mag take ng exam within 3 years nman kc yung validity ng assesment na nakalagay dun sa result na galing sa AIMS so I think wla nman maging problema kung march mo pa plan mag take ng exam as long na di ka pa nag file for the examination mismo.

@alfonso31 thank you so much for the info. So in your knowledge, what are the reasons/grounds why ma disapprove sila of the assessment. What if wala akong ma provide na cert of training but i have enough experience working at a tertiary hosp.
