Hi all! Actually PTE is really easy and really hard at the same time. :P
I took it last week here in Melby with only 4 days of review, lucky enough I passed and was not expecting that high of scores.

mga idol, me echo ba ung mic sa actual exam? hindi ko maayos ung mic ng PC ko kaya kelangan ko iimprove ung "feedback" ng mic. Kaso nabibigay sya ng echo, na super nakaka distract. kasi nadidinig ko yung sarili kong magsalita.

@Ado hi ung sa akin during actual wala nmn. ganyan din ung sa akin kasi pinaki alaman ko ung setting ng laptop ko.pero naibalik ko nman sa original na setting.

Hi po sa lahat, gusto ko lang magtanong kung okay lang ba na magbook na ng PTE kung 3months review ka na on and off,pero pasado naman na ung mock test ko,
May 1 lang ung vacant slot dito, the rest hanggang June puno na, may nababakante lang minsan kasi pag mag nagpapamove siguro. I am so troubled, I need to have done this before June 15. Salamat sa advice, friends!

@NurseAngel if confident kana mag exam, wala akong nakikitang dahilan bakit hindi ka magbook. Magbook kana po para maexperience mo na ang real exam. Goodluck and God bless sayo

@albertus1982 Kung pwede nga lang agad,eh. Kaso puno na dito hanggang June. Nagkakaron sya ng slot minsan, may 1. One time may 24, reasonable date na sana. Suddenly disappeared. Kung kelan feeling ko na okay na, biglang ganun.
Talagang kailangan attentive ka sa pagtingin din ng exam date, kasama sa planning bukod sa review. Thanks albert

Yung PTE academic po ba to be considered superior kailangan lahat ng band is superior or yung overall score is enough na?

hi to all! just took my PTE exam yesterday and I got the results this afternoon!!!!

I got these scores: L:79, R:90, S:81;W:90.

Salamat po sa lahat ng sumagot sa mga tanong ko,: Vanessajoy, MisterV, Albertus , Jerm at sa lahat ng nag share ng materials dito!

Tyaga lang po sa lahat ng kukuha, practice, practice and practice. kayang kaya nyo yan! insights ko lang ( tingin ko nabasa nyo na din to thou

1.Speaking and writing:
-Practice lang ng reading, maganda ung mic na nagamit ko. walang echo or feedback unlike sa Mock test ko from my PC. put stress sa important words (nouns, verbs, adjectives)
- Describe image (my most hated area): practice. practice. sa time ng exam, don't pause very long, basta salita ka lang.
- Writing - Summary of written text - hit mo yung key words sa concluding paragraphs, and try to get ideas in first and subsequent paragraphs. think and use synonyms.
- Essay - write with intro, body, body, conclusion format. Write in academic format. use yung mga phrases: in addition to, in contrast., moreover, however, etc.

Reading - focus lang. mejo mabilis ung time I think, so focus lang talaga and make sure na masasagot mo up to last question. Check mo lagi time monitor.

Listening: mas maigsi "ata" ung phrases kesa sa practice tests? pero worth it pa ring mag practice sa long words. Focus - no need to write everything, basta make sure na nakuha nyo yung key words.

Practice lang, and Pray a lot

@NurseAngel hello po, pabook na Kayo kasi para sa akin, okay na iyong 3 months review maski pa on and off. Kasi, Hindi naman po sa pagmamayabang, 2weeks diretso Lang review ko and I was able to hit it. Kelangan Lang talaga, aware ka sa technicalities kung paano iyong PTE. And siyempre may idea ka na kung ano iyong possible questions. Ma gulat ka na Lang din pag meron na scores mo, matataas.

I got the result of my ielts today and im a bit disappointed..planning to take pte exam..
My overall score is 6.5 mbaba aq sa wrting and reading which is 6
What are my chances to pass pte exam..

@h2oleelee Nagkaroon po ng slot dito. Hanggang June kas fully booked sa 4testing centres dito, araw-araw every hour ako nagcheck, ayun, blessing may ilan nagpapamove siguro.
may 2weeks pa ko para magpractice! I hope maging ok, I will take the mock test B din pag malapit na ko magtake. Sana nga eh. ok nman ung assessment ko sa 3 areas, ung reading lang Im a bit worried kasi 59 lang ako. e i need 65.

@NurseAngel kayang Kaya yan mam! Ang advice ko lang po, kung saan kayo mediyo nahihirapan o mababa, Iyon pa po ang practice ninyo. Actually po, nagfocus ako sa 3 areas and not sa reading. Nung nag exam po, doon nga ako mahirapan sa reading kasi lagi ko iniskip ang practice test doon Kaya mediyo mahirapan din po ako. Kaya practice nyo siya more pero pati din ung iba ☺️

@poshprim Hindi nalalayo score natin sa IELTS. Got 6.5 sa tatlo at 6 sa writing. Itry ko tong PTE soon. Mukhang mas leanient in giving scores.

Thanks po @anonymousprincess and @albertus1982, im really collecting as much information as I can, last take kasi ang score ko na is L - 81, R - 73, S - 90, W - 76. All of these bands may plan na ko except Reading. I felt last time minalas ako sa re order paragraph, but I dont want to rely on luck... It's really the small detail that matters sa napansin ko sa exam.

Anyone here po na may copy ng pearson book?.. Hingi po sana ako ng kopya.. i just really need to focus on Reading part
