Hello po. I took the exam yesterday and received the results this morning. I got L80/R86/S49/W81

Sa speking part, sinunod ko naman template sa describe image and re-tell lecture, konting errors lang sa repeat sentence and smooth sa read aloud. Yung positioning ng mic ko sa tapat mismo ng ilong ko to prevent breathing noise. I checked three times sa record testing. I thought okay lang sya pero na bother ako dun sa constant static noise na naririning ko. Kala ko normal lang sya. Wala namang narerecord na noise coming from other test takers. Dapat po ba complete silence pag nagrecord ng walang sinasabi? Possible po ba yun nakaapekto sa score ko? Nakakapanghinayang kasi. Di ko alam panong practice pa gagawin ko.

@ajdee aw, nakakapanghinayang nga. Tinapos mo ba ung mga timing hanggang mag "completed", o click next ka once tapos ka na?

@kuya.king I clicked next everytime matapos ako sa read aloud, repeat sentence and answer short questions. Sa describe image and retell lecture 35-38 seconds ako sa lahat naman. I also did proper pauses din.

@ajdee OM, magtetake pa naman kami soon, dami talaga nabibiktima sa speaking. May napanood ako sa youtube, PTE trainor siya pero 45 lang din ata siya sa speaking nung first time nya. Malakas ba ung boses mo? Aside from the static noise, any other possible reason?

@kuya.king Medyo tanggap ko na na baka mahina nga talaga boses ko. Nung time kasi ng exam para akong nakikipag usap lang sa harap ng computer. A friend commented on my speaking voice and he said na medyo mahina nga daw ako makipag usap. So baka yun nga. Nagtiwala kasi ako masyado sa record testing portion. Kala ko pag audible and understandable, okay na sya. Lakasan ko na lang sa retake haha.

So yun pala ibig sabihin ng Read Aloud. Literal na Aloud hahahaha! Kidding

@NurseAngel see the attachment. Nasa score sheet kung pano ang scoring ng PTE. Nakaka affect silang dalawa sa writing. Si summarize spoken text kay Listening nakaka affect.
Isang sentence lang si summarize written text pero si summarize spoken text ay hindi isang sentence. What is required ay in yung tamang organization ng pagsulat mo.Nasa study plan ko ang template ng summarize spoken text.

Di bale na maingayan katabi mo, kesa masakripisyo score at pera mo. Parepareho namang maingay.

Hopefully positive yung amended score natin. I got a score L81 R77 S68 W83. Sana umakyat para makuha yung 79 mark. Pag bumaba hassle since EOI was already lodged and wag naman sana retake. Is this the first time in PTE history na may issue sa scoring for all takers on a specific date?

5/8- Took PTE,
5/9- got results with passing mark.
5/10-lodged EOI
5/12-Got an email regarding issue as mentioned above.

@inhinyero_sg . So let us keep the email notification from Pearson as it will be used as an evidence in case may changes.
The feeling of being tormented by these variations is undeniably the worst this week. Let us all pray and hope for the best.

@ajdee nakatanggap ako notification today na may technical issues sila sa pagkascore ng exams taken last May 8 to 11. Baka kasama ka dun. Sobrang weird ng score mo sa speaking eh.

Nakakainis ang speaking score ko 41!!. JuskOLord parang di ko to katanggap tanggap at masyado ako confident while taking the exam. Anu beh?! ☹️☹️☹️

@eynah_gee same. Medyo nagtaka din ako sa score ko. Medyo tanggap ko pa kung tumungtong ng 50 eh lol. Wala kang na receive na email about the technical issue?

@ajdee upon checking my email after I sent a request for re evaluation of my speaking test eh nakita ko may mail pala ako from them kaninang 10:54am. Mas nauna email announcement nila ng possible amendment ng scores kesa dun sa natanggap ko ngayon ngayon lang.
so ibig bang sabihin nun may pag asa pa tayo?

@eynah_gee Yup! Sana positive ang mangyari at walang bawas sa ibang scores kasi mahirap na para sa mga nagsubmit ng EOI. Pray lang tayo.

@eynah_gee 6am lumabas score ko kanina. Laking gulat ko na ganun na ba talaga ako kahina sa english? Tinanggap ko na nga agad tapos bumili na ng voucher for retake. Buti di pa ako nakakapag book kundi mahirap na.

@ajdee nung May 8 ako nag take, knina lang ako nakatanggap nung email. Sa totoo lang it really devastated me kasi pinapataas ko na lng reading score ko to hit 79. I even got 90 sa speaking last time i took the exam last May 2. Tapos suddenly score ko ngayon sa speaking 35. Hindi ako makapaniwala. I never had problems sa speaking. During the exam i was so relaxed and have a good feeling especially sa reading. Pero i got 63 sa reading then 65 sa listening which is super annoying. Nag iisip na nga ako mag parescore kasi i really have a bad feeling. Pansin ko pa yung highlight wrong word sa listening, hindi normal yung bilis ng takbo ng audio. Parang naka fast forward. Pero nakuha ko pa din, di man 100% pero i dont think it warrants a score of 65. At sa reading nasa 73 74 na scores ko lagi tapos biglang 62 yung result last exam??? Bottomline, hindi rin ako nag pa rescore kasi hindi worth it yung 125 USD especially ang rescoring will only look into Open Ended questions. Meaning, maipasa ko man the rest, wala pa din ako chance sa Reading. Pero since may announcement ng technical issue, maybe my scores in reading will also change. Hopefully.

Based sa comments dito, majority of the doubts ay nasa speaking. Lets hope and pray for the best na positive yung outcome to all.

Though april 18 pa ko kumuha, speaking ko din 44, sa Pearson ako sa Tanjon pagar, nagparescore ako pero no changes.

@kuya.king thanks kuya! Kasi nakaka 3 na take na q sa ielts palagi sa writing aq 6.5 kaya nag try aq dto sa PTE,sna naman ito na.

@kuya.king nung nagpa rescore ka ba may nangyari? Nagbabalak aq kanina mag pa rescore kaso nabsa q bigla ung email nila na ayun nga may technical problem daw.
