Hi! May alam po kayo na reliable and cheap money transfer from AU to SG?

Mahal kasi charge ng banks dito. Kung may alam kayo na transfer na parang sa Lucky Plaza or parang DBS remit.

I use TransferWise. I find na mas competitive ang rates nila compared to the banks and other money transfer services (OzForex etc). May times na natatanggap ko ang perang ni-transfer ko from my NAB account to my POSB/DBS account within the day (depends on what time you did the transfer).

@Miyawski have u tried sending to Ph? Ive tried iremit, im not satisfied with their service. It takes 2 to 3 days for funds to be credited

Direct transfer, no. Mataas kasi ang transfer fee ng TransferWise to PH as far as I can remember. $:\$ ">

So what I do is course the money through my Singapore DBS Account tapos saka ko transfer to my PH Bank Account. Free kasi ang remittance fee ng DBS to PH bank accounts.

May mga kakilala ako ang dinahilan nila is kailangan for course studies sa NUS or BCA. Or for tourist VISA application (Long shot). I think mas okay na ikaw mismo gumawa ng COE. Ang alam ko hindi naman yung higher boss ang kailangan magendorse ng COE e, pwede yung HR or immediate supervisor (kung sino man ang mas ka close mo)

Ayoko din sana ipaalam sa MD ko nung una pero in the end sinabi ko din ang totoo. Sinabi ko lang na group of friends kami at niyaya lang ako na magpaassess if qualified kami to work sa Australia. Sabi ko assessment lang naman and hindi namin plan mag migrate.

@layao2002 thank you sir sa suggestion, mejo mahirap din kasi magrequest sa HR namen since SME yung company, asawa ng MD yung head ng HR. Check ko nln din ung statutory declaration. salamat po sa infos

@von1xx sinabi ni wife ko na hindi pa naman siya aalis right after ma-grant around 1-2yrs.. Permanent si wife. naging ok naman.. If you can assure them na you'll be staying for as long as they need you , then its good.. pero not until visa expiry hehe.

if you're in contract, same, you can just say na you won't be leaving before the contract ends..

Yup its better to be honest na for assessment purposes lang than make an alibi sa pagrequest ng COE. Baka mapasama pa at isipin pa na naghahanap ka na ng ibang company.

Guys, plan ko mgpaconvert ng philippine driver's license to sg driver's license para direct conversion pgdating sa AU. Ang problem ko is kakarenew ko lng ng license last dec 2016 and up until now wala p ung license card. May idea b kayo kung ano pwede gawin para maconvert ko ung phl license to sg license kahit receipt lng ung nasakin. Thanks.

@Bart_SanJose By memory they still need the physical DL card, and certificate of first issuance of the licence na galing sa LTO. Pero maybe you can call LTA and ask them if ok lang ba ang receipt. Try mo lang.

Hello mga Sir/Ma'am,
I'm currently a Mall Engineer( manages operations ang maintenance of the facilities/equipment of the building) here in Pinas. Im a licensed Mechanical Engineer. Hingi lang po ako advice. Though 1 year palang ang experience ko, i dream of working in OZ. Do you think it is wise to pursue facilities engineering if i want to work in australia? Im also taking my girlfriend ( soon to be my wife) who is a CPA with me. Should I shift to a different industry like oil and gas or construction? Please help po. This is my dilemma right now. Is facilities engineering best suited to make a good career sa australia or even penetrating it?

@kh@L3L kya pa yan humabol..kme ni hubby nag sg ng 2014.. 2015 decided na kme mag Au pra may fallback just incase hndi marenew pass ni hubby..dp kasi ako sa knya i gave up my 11 yrs work in ph pra makasma sya but na realized nmin na hndi stable sa sg..eventhough narenew pasa nya last yr sa sg eh tumuloy pa din kme sa au..good thing when arrived in here nakakuha kme ng work within few weeks.. khit low level kay hubby bsta for local experience.. and this month lilipat sya sa ibang company with better pay and related tlga sa work nya before sa sg..and nsa mid 30s na kme nag au so kya pa yan humabol sa huling byahe

ung sa acs pwedi ba ganito gawin ko with 9 yrs exp:
- pa assess ng ICT system test engr..given na 2 yrs deduction then if ma credit lng is < 5yrs exp...pwedi pa assess uli pero sa ICT software tester hoping to get > 5 yrs exp?
