Last year p po nila nareceive ung documents ko for assessment... nalate lng ung pte result ko which i sent 3rd week of May tpos ung payment recently lng din. May pagasa po bng makapag-exam ako dis september?

@bibi_gurl mukhang mejo malabo kse bukas na yata deadline ng application for the exam. Usually inaabot ng 4 to 6 weeks ung assesment after nila mareceive lahat ng docs at payment. Pero i-try mo pa din sila i-email kung pwede ka humabol sa Sep na exam.

Di bale.. at least mahaba time mo to prepare for the exam kung sa March ka kukuha..

Hi friends. I’ve submitted the application for the skills assessment as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and my documents have been received at the AIMS National Office on 18 April. My order has been assigned reference number on 28 April.
On May 25, I emailed AIMS office to check the progress and to see if there is possibility for me to catch up with the 1st June deadline for the AIMS Professional Examination. On May 31, the AIMS office replied me as follows:

We apologise in the delay in processing your Skills Assessment Application.
Your application has returned from the Assessment Committee and we hope to complete your results letter within the next 2 weeks.
We have been experiencing a significant increase in applications.
All recent Skills Assessment applicants have been notified if they needed to apply for next the AIMS Professional Examination.
Your skills assessment id is 698/17-2.4

However, I haven’t received any notification about the exam. Does that mean I’m not eligible to sit the exam? Or I do NOT have to apply for it? What does the skills assessment id mean? 2.4 Grade? If the decision letter packed off, will the office email me?

@bushiyouyou usually kse mgpapa-assess ka muna as Medical Lab Technician kung overseas ka graduate. Pero you submitted for Med Lab Scientist right? I think yun ang naging cause of delay.

Ngpa-assess ako dati sa New Zealand as Med Lab Scientist. Akala ko lulusot as Scientist.. pero since American standard yung education natin, at sila e Bristish standard.. rejected yung application ko.. so I tried to re-appeal and asked them to assess my docs as Med Lab Tehnician.. pumayag nmn and they gave me a certification as Med Lab Technician.

Sa Pinas k ba graduate?

@raspberry0707 Gusto ko rin sana magpa-assess sa new zealand council. can we claim reciprocity? Since classified as med.lab scientist na tayo? O kailangan pa din dumaan sa umpisa?

@raspberry0707 kung na-assess ka as lab.tech sa NZ council as lab.technician, bale ung academic qualifications natin sa pilipinas is equivalent to lab.tech lang po sya?... kung magpa-asses po ng lab scientist sa NZ, need po ba magbridging course or magstudy sa kanila?... sis do you have a link regarding inquiries.

@vangie mas madugo process sa NZ.. after ma-assess as Med Lab Tech.. need mo kumuha ng 12 months na lab experience sa NZ.. parang internship.. so hahanap ka employer na papayag na mgtrain ka sa kanila.. after nun may 2 years na bridging course.. kaya hindi ko na tinuloy.. mas madali dito sa Aus.. exam lang..

Lolz! Ang haba pa naman ng sagot ko.. hindi nmn pala Pinoy ung ngtatanong sa taas.. Haha!

Pero kung labtech na ung category, makakapasok na din ng work sa laboratory?... hindi ko na rin kakayanin ung balik school ulit, iba na rin kasi mga priorities. Kasi we are planning aftr aussie, lipat for good sa NZ, kung di rin pahirapan pagprocess ng documents.

@Raq ielts overall band score 7 atleast 7 each module. General training will do. Or you can have PTE atleast 69.

@vangie thank you po. Pero sa aims website po, ang pipiliin ko po ba ay medical lab technician? Then maiinvite po ako to take the exam at pag nkapasa po ba dun lang po magiging med lab scientist? Tama po ba?

@Raq yes po, tama lahat. Medical lab tech muna piliin for assessment. Katapos kpg pinadala na ang assessment result, bigyan kna rin ng invitation to take the exams. Kpg napasa mo na, lab.scientist na ang category mo.

@vangie thank you po ang bilis nyo po magreply..hahaha...after po nun, pwede na po ba mag apply ng skilled migrant visa 189? Yung mga docs po ba na kailangan sa visa nakared ribbon dapat or pwede na po iscanned lahat ang mga ctc? Paano pa ba magpasa ng requirements sa visa, scanned all the docs at ipasa lang thru online? Pasensya na po ang dami kong tanong, ang mahal po kc mag agency..thank you po..

@Raq oo, kpg pasado kna ng exams... as visa 189. No need for red ribbon. Mga ginamit mo na documents for assessment same list lang halos iforward kpg apply ng visa 189... para po hindi kayu masyadu ma-overwhelm sa mga procedures, one step at a time muna po kayo. Kung wala pa po kayu english exams, work out nyu muna po un. Kpg okay na ielts nyo, assessment naman. And exams prep. Finally visa application.

@vangie.. wala din sa occupation list nila yung Lab Tech.. so kung may ibang option kau sa visa other than skilled migrant, pwede nmn mgwork as Lab Tech.. ung nakilala ko na Pinay.. ung employer nia ngsponsor ng 2 year bridging course nia para maging Scientist.

Pinoy lang kse sinasagot ko dito sa forum.. baka kse masilip tau ng AIMS or ng immigration.. kaya ung pasahan ng mga tanong sa mga nakaraang pagsusulit.. sa private message or email na lang..

@raspberry0707 salamat naman naliwanagan na po ako. Ganun pala un. May naexperience kna na from oz lumipat to NZ? Kasi ung pinoy from NZ pwede sila lumipat to OZ na di masyadu madami papeles inaayus. Tinatanung nga namin kung pa-reverse applicable sya... hindi daw nya alam.

May question po ulit ako regarding sa qualification points sa visa 189

"A Bachelor degree from an Australian educational institution or a Bachelor qualification, from another educational institution that is of a recognized standard".
= 15 points

Mkakakuha ba tayo ng 15 points na yan once na na-assessed ng aims at nkapasa sa exam? Kasi magiging parehas na ng australian framework level 7 ang pagkakaron natin ng bachelor's degree after natin makapasa sa exam? Tama po ba?

" An award or qualification recognized by relevant assessing authority for your nominated skilled occupation". = 10 points
Ayan po sure na mkakakuha tayo ng 10 points once na na-assessed at nkapasa sa aims exam.

Pag ganyan po ba sure na, na may 25 points na po na makukuha? Thank you po.
