hello po.. mejo out of the topic tong itatanong ko... if may history ka po ba ng PTB and may naiwang scar sa lungs mo pwede ka pa mgapply sa NZ, Australia or UK?
We're planning to take exams dn po kasi pero kung mahigpit sila bka mgstay na lng ako d2 sa bansa nten.

@ishtepi this sounds good. Just slow the pace down a little bit so that the system can recognize each individual word. If you speak this way all throughout the Speaking section you'll get a great score, for sure.

Mon - Fri --> 4:00 am - 6:00 am review ng speaking, listening and reading.
Mon - Fri --> 6:00 am - 5:00 am balik tulog
Mon - Fri --> 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm review ng writing (IELST Ryan yung gamit ko na template)
Weekend --> Anytime take a mock exam from PTE Gold channel in youtube

Bago ko nakuha yung desired score ko, every two weeks ako nag eexam ng PTE.

@eynah_gee sorry sa late reply. Dapat modulated ang voice wag maxadong malakas. Then I agree sa mga payo ng iba na nasa tamang positiniong din ng mic para hindi maging hindrance sa flow ng voice mo. Then check your mic before you start. Kamusta na? Matagal akong di ngvisit sa thread naging busy na sa pag accomplish sa mga ibang docs ko kasi ang dami ko pang kulang.

I tried to take the online practice test kso ngsstop ung recording after 3 seconds, I'm only using a normal headset. Any advice on what should I do? Was expecting that it will stop the recording in 40 seconds s read aloud. Thanks in advance sa suggestions.

@cp101030 na test mo yung mic? Pag complete silence kase in 3sec, mag skip sya to the next question agad.

These days, there is an ongoing debate between people about (paraphrase the question). While it is possible to claim that (eto ba yung part na kung anong side ka, kung mas panig ka sa disadvantage/advantage?), my view is that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. In this essay, I shall explain my point of view by analysing both sides of the argument.

There are several reasons why (kung anong examples ng disadvantages ang ieenumerate mo). One of them is that ___________________________. It can also be argued that ___________________. It should also be taken into account that___________________________________.

Those who argue for (advantges) have a different view and say that it can actually be a good thing. Firstly, it is claimed that (example pa din ng advantages). Then, there are concerns about (example pa din ng advantages) .

While there are strong arguments on both sides of the case, my personal opinion is that. I would strongly recommend that __________________________________

While it is possible to claim that television provides a source of entertainment to people, my view is that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. In this essay, I shall explain my point of view by analysing both sides of the argument.

There are several reasons why television is considered to be disadvantageous to society. One of them is that viewing of television can be a source of distraction in our life, turning away our focus from the more important things in life. It can also be argued that we tend to waste hours in front of the television instead of working on our goals and ambitions is life. It should also be taken into account that children at a young age spending too much time in front of the television, are missing out on opportunities for all around development.

Those who argue for television have a different view and say that it can actually be a good thing. Firstly, it is claimed that television can be a good source of information to learn new things if used correctly. Then, there are concerns about people not viewing television to be unaware of current events and latest new around the world.

While there are strong arguments on both sides of the case, my personal opinion is that television usage is best avoided or minimized as we should focus on other productive tasks instead. I would strongly recommend that people view how much time they currently spend on watching television and see how this time can be put to better use.

Hi guys, would like to seek advice sna regarding our current situation. My husband is the main applicant for visa 189 but the thing is he will have his 33rd bday this coming aug 17 and this will lower down our score. Currently, our total score is 55 (age-30;skilled employment-10;qualifications-15) and we are aiming for 10 points in his PTE exam so that we can have a total of 65 points. His 1st take will be this July, if ever that he'll be able to pass this exam before his bday, is it possible for us to file the EOI without the health requirement? Also, can we still claim the 30 points for the age? Thanks in advance for your answers

@cp101030 there is no health requirement in creating an EOI. Kahit ngayon pwede ka na gumawa, and update mo na lang once magka results sa PTE. For your second question, if you create your EOI before his birthday, you can still claim 30 pts. But it will be updated after his birthday kung hindi pa sya nainvite by then. Good luck!

Hi mga ka forum, I have a question. Ilang points ang makukuha ko if ganito ang score ko sa PTE exam ko?

Listening - 79
Reading - 86
Speaking - 90
Writing - 77

Masaya lang ako nakakuha ako ng ganyang score (first time and 2 weekend preparation) alam ko passing yan pero not sure ilang points ang katumbas nyan. Ang tinatake ba ay dapat may minimum ka na score sa each part? Or kukunin yung average and dun kukunin yung points mo for EOI?

Btw, share ko lang ung review ko baka makatulong sa iba po. Sobrang busy sa work kaya inalot ko talaga ung 2 weekends (4 days) para sa pagrereview. Nagregister ako sa practicepte.com para makakuha ng 2 mock exams (I have no idea what to expect sa PTE)...After taking 1 mock exam sobrang bagsak. Lalo na sa describe image, essay and yung mga summarization and retell lectures.

Then ang ginawa ko nanood ako sa youtube channel ng E2Language. I watched yung webinars nila. I got tips and malaking tulong talaga. Kaso sobrang kulang nako sa oras. Natapos lang ako yesterday sa panonood ng videos. I wanted to do another mock exam pa to test yung mga natutunan ko kaso 11pm na. So I decided matulog na lang kasi mas importante hindi puyat sa exam. Natapos ko exam except sa Fill in the blanks and essay dahil sa time constraints. Hindi ko inexpect na magiging ganyan yung grade ko.
