Hi @batman and to everyone! Any tips on how you started your review? Which to study first and organising everything. I've got a lot of documents and info to refer to and they are quite overwhelming for me specially that I am a working mom. Which did you guys prioritise and best practices you can share? Thank you!!!

@James15 Try to get familiar with the parts of the exam. There was a practice test (mock test file name) file shared here. Its an application where in you can do the test just like the actual test. Try mo search dito. or check mo doon sa mga link na share na. Tapos gauge mo sarili mo saan ka nahihirapan doon ka mag allot ng more time. pero wag mo pabayaan yung ibang part na feel mo kaya mo. be consistent lang sa aral.

@shobskie hello, sa repeat sentence intindhn mo ung thought ng sentence. Try as much as possible to remember the important words. kahit n hnd exact ung mga words mo, say it with confidence, ung tipong d k kakikitaan ng hesitation. tuloy tuloy n pagsasalita.

s writing nmn, it is good n pag aralan mo ung pagkasunod sunod ng ideas (points s written discourse) pag nagsusulat k. nood k ng ielts vids s youtube, step by step k nila tuturuan magsulat.

s oral fluency, try mo irecord ung read aloud mo, then ask other people to assess. minsan kc akala ntn normal ung pacing ntn, pro pagnarecord pla medjo mabagal n. iparinig mo s iba ung record and ask if they understood the passage and your pronunciation.

s reading, it is good to review collocations and grammar. s grammar madalas ako maka encounter nung have/had/have been/had been. its good to know the different use.

@James15 hello there. nakaka overwhelm nga ang pte s dami ng exam types. what i did was to take a mock test muna. ung free lng s mga reviewer. i tried to answer one skill per night. like reading today, bukas listening nmn and so on.

after i did the whole set in the first week, every week iniischedule ko ung sarili ko to review a specific skill (R, L, W, S), jn n papasok ung youtube videos and specific strategy per exam type. if i feel n hnd p ako ok s section n un, ineextend ko ung 1 week n timeline until i feel confident. hope this helps

Weekdays - one exam type at a time
Weekend 1 - full/mock test writing
Materials used: e2language webinar, PTE test plus and Macmillan

Week 2 - reading
Weekdays - one exam type at a time
Weekend 2 - full/mock test Reading
Materials used: e2language webinar, PTE test plus and Macmillan

Week 3 - listening
Weekdays - one exam type at a time
Weekend 3 - full/mock test listening
Materials used: e2language webinar, PTE test plus and Macmillan

Week 4 - speaking
Weekdays - one exam type at a time
Weekend 4 - full/mock test speaking
Materials used: e2language webinar, PTE test plus and Macmillan

Week 5 & 6 - everyday full test ng LRSW
Materials used: PTE Gold youtube

@James15 Try to take the mock exam to get the feel of the exam and what to expect. You can get 2 mock FREE mock exams sa practicepte.com....and meron pa isa kaso nakalimutan ko na yung site.

Then from there, kapag familiar ka na on how the exam goes, aralin mo naman yung techniques nung per exam part. HTH

status bar sa actual kaya magandang practice din ung nagrerecord ng sagot, para alam mo kung gano kadaming data ang pwede mong sabihin pag nagtemplate ka

I think he needs to practice more on re-order paragraph. nakakaubos kasi ng oras pag walang technique.

@batman same tayo ng problem. I already watched e2language webinars and other tips. So far, for MCMA, ang effective for me is read the question first then read the options and confirm or disconfirm if each option is true or false based on the text. Select the keywords from each option tas un ang verify ko sa text. Kaso nagkakaproblema ako kapag ung keywords sa options are synonyms sa text. Hindi ko sya makita agad sa text pag skim ko so ang tendency is to read the text which takes a long time.

Sa reorder, very important na makuha ung topic sentence. Then I try to understand the logic or flow ng sentences kasi sometimes subject-verb-object does not always apply. Based pa din sya sa meaning. Kaya hirap din talaga ako dito.

Until now im still working on how to improve these two items.

Wait natin ung iba for other tips na baka maging effective sa tin. God bless
