@siena101 no worries its up to you. just to clarify, though 489 is a temporary visa, once you satisfy the 2 yr requirement, you can apply for 887 straight away and 887 is like "converting" your 489 to PR.

887 is not subject to any point requirement so even if you reached 41, 42 or 43, it does not matter.

I guess ang advice ko is the earlier you get your visa approved the better especially if age is a concern for you. I did the maths, kung 41 ka 2 yrs from now, 39 is your current age, so if ikaw ung primary applicant, once you hit 40 and you have not been invited, you will lose 10 points for age.

Can i create separate eoi but still using the same email ad? Tried to create a new eoi but i keep getting an error once i click next at the english test section. Encountered same issue nung monday din but i thought baka normal downtime lang.

Interested narin ako mag lodge ng eoi for 489 for SA. For ICT System Analyst po need po ba muna mag create ng New EOI? Adelaide po pa ang pipiliin?

Then after EOI creation, ano po ang next step? Need po ba mag wait for invitation?

Lastly when converting to 887, need parin po ba mag IELTS ng main applicant ng 489?

After eoi ..u will lodge ur state nomination application sa site mismo ng SA. Make sure u have all the docs needed kasi once submitted/paid na di mo na pwede i.edit. friendly naman masyado site ng SA andun na lahat checklist na kailangan mo for the application.

Bali pag ka create ng EOI no need to wait for invitation to apply like other states, then lodge na ng state nomination sa site. Okay po, akala ko need pa mag wait. before applying sa site ni SA. Check ko muna ang mga requirements din.

May isa pa po akong tanong. nung Feb 2016 may ACS result na ako, positive skills assessment. Yung na count na experience relevant is from Jan 2014 to January 2016, nasa same company pa ako until nitong June nag resign na ako. So lumabas is may another year of experience ulit ako na gain. Pwede na po ba i claim yung 3 years work experience sa EOI? or need mag pa reassess ulit sa ACS para lang ma credit yung 1 year?

Ang sabi naman po na karamihan, basta may latest Certificate of Employment stating the service end date, payslips and ITR ako from the same company. Okay na daw yon as evidence for the +1 year experience. Meron naman na po ako nitong mga latest evidences

Sabi naman ng iba, need mag pa reassess. hindi ko po alam kung anong susundin.

you need at least 70 points pero sa SA ngyn for SC 489 na lng yung ICT Occupations.

@coachella9 pasa ka na kasi ok din naman 489 path at makakarating na din sa Aus.. ako ksi 65 lang e kaya nagdadalawang isip pa din maski nabasa ko na possible silang magbaba ng points. sayang din kasi yng AUD$200 kung sakali

@Hunter_08 oo mga around 7K din yung 200 aud, pero might be worth trying kung maibaba nila. currently ba nasa 55 points ka? push mo lang , sana mag start narin yung VIC SS. para more chances.

@coachella9 yung sa VIC nag start na ata sila pero parang NSW na din na hintayin yung email nila for lodging ng VIC SS.. yes 55 point lang currently. yung mga docs na ni upload ko is yung mga docs na ginamit ko sa ACS e.. lahat yun CTC. feeling ko maski hndi CTC pero mas ok na din na oo para sure.

@Hunter_08 Sige ipagdasal natin iyan. Sana ay maging okay yang decision mo. By the way what about po yung financial capacity, need po ba ng evidence. Yung sa table po nila pag smain applicant lang ano po ba classification ko doon, onshore or offshore? Naisip ko onshore so around 5000 AUd - 10,000 AUD yung required. tama po ba?
