@yeyel Naku matagal din pala dumating yung LOE no? Iniisip ko nga kung itutuloy ko pa yun bridging magduty muna ko 3 months or magbachelor like the others here. Hehehe :)

@patet34 It's the AGOS 40. It takes 2 weeks kasi for the good standing from PRC to be delivered to AHPRA.

I have 60 points exact once i finished the bridging course. However, I have some dilemmas. Eto po breakdown ko sa pointing system

    Age(23)-25
    Bachelor-15
    English-20
    Exp-0

I have 2 yrs 10 months experience, lumipat po ako employer pero hindi sila nagiissue coe as of now since bago palang po ako. I have some questions lng po sana hloe ou can help me. Thanks po :)

    1. Can I still apply for 189 visa? Khit less than 3 yrs exp?
    2. Okay lang po ba n hindi ko muna ilagay current work ko for ahpra application? Sa ANMAC nalng po once i finished the bridging? Baka po kasi mgkaroon ng discrepancy.

Thank you so much and God bless!

Btw kung sino po gusto help sa PTE I'm willing po for free, pero di po ako expert ha. Hehe. Thanks po ulit! :)

    1. Okay lang kung less than 3yrs. You can still apply as long as you meet the 60 points for migration.
    2. Pwede mo naman siyang ilagay, just make a note there na they are not releasing COE yet.

@FayeSim You will only need 3yrs if you will be claiming points for your work experience (5points) but If otherwise, you don't have to. :) If you will make a note, it would be best to have it notarized. Ganun kasi gawa nila rito sa Au (they call it Statutory Declaration). Walang anuman and God bless with your application. :)

@FayeSim Prerequisite yung ANMAC skills assessment for the PR Application. Without that, hindi ka makakapagapply. Nakalagay sa LOD mo kung suitable ka for migration or not. :)

@Cassey Hi sis! ive read your comments and seems you know everything, good thing! can you help me decide though, im having a hard time what to choose either BP or conversion.

    here's mine

3 years ++ work exp in a tertiary hosp
    31 years old
will take pte by sept this year

Lets say I pass the exam and be able to get the 65 scores in all components what do you think is the best for me to apply for? BP or conversion? I know this would be based on my preference I just want to have another idea and opinion from you and others here in the forum.

    Thank you!
    God bless!

@lizzzie Hi, since you have an overseas experience (was it within the last 5yrs prior to application?) I suggest that you take the bridging program on the basis that it's shorter in duration. After 3 mos, you can already start the process for becoming a Permanent Resident here whereas with conversion, it takes a year or two to finish the course.

"Moving from US to AU: Planning to be a nurse in AU"

    Hi All!
I am new here and I am glad I found this forum! :)

Here's my situation: Living in the USA for 2 yrs now, Just granted a PR visa in Aus & a nurse back in the Philippines.

Share ko na din muna ang aking story sainyo before I ask some questions & advice from you guys.. Nandito kami ngayon currently sa US together with my husband, but planning to migrate na lang sa Aus which we are thinking kasi na mas ok mag start ng family and career compared dito sa US, especially nowadays na lalong mas bumagal ang immigration system dito.

Ang main applicant nga pla is yung husband ko, he is a medical lab scientist and na-meet nia yung point system for PR (189). While nag pprepare kami ngayon dito to move sa Aus, I am researching na din sa AHPRA website & dito sa forum kung paano mag apply sa Aus as RN. Actually, sobrang laking tulong nitong forum, I learned a lot na kaagad based sa mga comments and pag share ng experiences ng ating mga kababayan. I have some specific concerns lang and hopefully sa pamamagitan nitong forum, ma-enlighten ako about the application process to become an RN sa Aus.

    My concerns:
1.ENGLISH TEST: Ano po kaya ang madaling ma-pass and ma-meet agad yung required score ng AHPRA in one take, IELTS or PTE?
2.AHPRA: Am I qualified pa din po kaya for bridging program even if may gap na yung last RN experience ko sa Pinas? My last RN experience was 2015 po.
3.TUITION FEE: As PR, may student discount po kaya sa bridging program?

Thank you so much po sa mga makakasagot ng mga dilemma ko, big help!:)
    God bless us all!

    @asrd Hi,

    1. Mas madaling makakuha ng high score with PTE.
    2. Qualified ka pa rin for bridging as long as your experience is within 5yrs prior to application.
    3. Based on my reading, I think the rate will be the same as the Commonwealth Fee but it says that you have to pay for it upfront.

All the best on your move.

    Good day,

Bago ko lang nakita tung forum na to and I think it is reallt helpful and I hope may makatulong sa akin in answering my questions and makatulong din ako sa mga same ng situation sa akin. Well anyway, I'll tell a bit of my road to australia story.

I am currently a nurse here in London. I arrived 2014 so dun pa ako sa old programme of acquiring a license. Parang bridging programme din so fortunately, AHPRa recognized my bridging programme here in the UK so currently I am already registered as a nurse in AHPRA.

Now, I will be starting my ANMAC para maka lodge na ako ng PR visa and hopefully lipat na ng australia next year.

Medyo nalilito ako sa mga requirements kasi most ng kakilala ko is ng BP pero medyo clear na sya but my question is, kasing strict ba ng AHPRA ang ANMAC? Kasi prob ko ngayon is ang COGS. Ngwork kasi ako sa saudi before, so sa mga ng saudi, masyadong hassle ang pgkuha ng COGS kasi dapat may kakilala ka dun. Sympre makakahassle ka ng ibang tao. In my case, ung pinsan ko ang na hahassle ko, kala ko tapos na ung nightmare ko nung AHPRA, di pa pala kasi needed sya ulit sa ANMAC.

Pwede ba ung old ko na COGS from saudi (january 25) issued. Then ako nalang mgsesend sa ANMAC?

Unfortunately, it's clearly stated on the ANMAC page that it should be sent directly to them. Maybe try searching it in google baka may nagpoprovide ng ganyang service.

Whatever documents that you've passed to AHPRA, it's pretty much the same with the ANMAC requirements. Keep a copy of these documents because you'll be using them in your PR Application as well. God bless.

@lizzzie It would all depend on what visa you'll be applying for. If it's student visa, then you're allowed to work 20hrs a week but if you decide to get the Visitor Visa, it doesn't have work rights. I'm not sure if the others who are doing a bridging program still have time to work though.

@lizzzie No worries, if you are planning to study, do it as soon as you can because they will soon be introducing 2 exams for internationally qualified nurses. As for the date, they haven't announced it yet.

Hello Ms @Cassey! I was reading AHPRA's website po and I came across this COGS (cert of good standing). This may have been answered in previous or other threads here but anyways, I'll just ask again. :) How do I request PRC to send a copy of COGS/cert of registration to AHPRA directly? Thanks in advance!

Ipifill up lang ang form and just let them know to send it to AHPRA's postal address. I couldn't remember how much it is though. If you have a representative, make an Authorization Letter and have them to bring a copy of your ID.
