Tassie is not a big state so don't expect too much. I reckon living in the outer burbs in big cities is somewhat similar to Tassie's vibe minus the good nature/environment

agree with you. do it for your family. At the end of the day, Tassie is past of Australia and that's it.

Tassie is just Tassie - it's very laid back. It's not like the suburban Melbourne or Sydney or even Brisbane, Surf or Gold Coast. It's close to Adelaide. Canberra's almost as quiet but between the two you'd go to Canberra because there's just more things to do. It's better than Darwin (I like the cool weather and of course, nature). I don't know about Perth as I've not lived nor visited the place. Tassie's comparable though to regional Victoria. Having said that, I enjoyed life in Tassie. Missed the pace when me and my partner moved here in Victoria.

question regarding my website application for Tassie. Nag expire na kasi kanina ang application ko then I attempt to create again when I noticed this note after answering the initial questions:

"Based on the information you have provided you are ELIGIBLE to apply for State Nomination. For further information on the process and requirements please refer to our website."

I believe State Nomination is subclass 190, correct? but based on their website kailangan ng job offer ang 190. I have none kasi target ko is 489.

@jaceejoef panong walang option ng 489? kasi ang pagkatanda ko checkbox sya na nagiindicate na open ka for visa 489 and 190.. pero since ICT yung nominated occupation mo nakalagay sa state nomination list ng tasmania na visa 489 lang ang pwede

I have read and understood the guidelines for the Tasmania (TAS) Nomination of a Skilled-Nominated (Subclass 190) Visa or Regional Provisional (Subclass 489) Visa.

So you're eligible for either. Have you read and understood the guidelines and could say which one applies to you?

Guys question po about sa pag declare ng assets. Pano po pag ung house and lot hindi nakapangalan sa owner kasi ung title ng lupa meron pang kashare sa iba. I mean ung title ng lupa ay para sa lot na may 4 owners. Wala pa syang sariling title for each lot. Pano pag humingi ng proof, pede po kaya na statutory declaration muna ito? Thanks po sa sasagot

@filsgoz yes, I read both guidelines. 489 is the one fit for me. but still I can't understand why the result says state nomination (190). hope it won't affect my application

@jaceejoef state nomination is not only for 190. it's also 489. 489 is state or family sponsored. i came in under 489 sponsored by tassie before becoming PR. you may have read 190 but not 489 or you misunderstood it. kaw ha, sabi mo naintindihn mo pero di pala. sabihin ko yan sa manager ng business and skilled migration ng tasmania. hahaha.

Hey @jaceejoef you're lucky you're being nominated for 190. If I were you, I'd go for it. Direct PR sponsored by the state. The advantage of being nominated by the state is that your EOI (from the DIBP) will be picked quickly, as soon as your state nomination is approved. I remember when I applied in the morning, I got the invitation to apply in the afternoon. Tassie is pretty responsive. Go for 190!

@jaceejoef nakita ko yung aking yng nag fill-up ako ng application nung Hindi ko pa na submit na 190 din nakalagay perl doesn't mean na yun yung approved nila. I think general yung application nila.. but as of their site.. yang ICT is 489 visa perl possible na bigyan ka ng 190 pag nakita nila indemand yung occupation mo.

@jaceejoef tama si Hunter_08. If you do not qualify for 190, they will actually tell you and will advise you to apply for 489 instead.

@Hunter_08 @filsgoz nag email ako kagabi sa Tassie regarding my issue, nag reply sila na same lang daw ang assessment for 489 and 190 so I should just ignore the "190" reference. sa EOI sila mag based kung anong visa ang i-process.

EOI ka na bilis and let them know that you've already lodged an EOI. They'll quickly nominate you! Awww exciting times!
