Pag mag-a-apply ba fro. 489 t0 887 kailangan pa sing mag-english test ulit?

May bago kasi akong nabasang memorandum that circulates over social media mn kailangang mag-english test ulit ung gustong mag-apply ng aus citizenship. I thouhgt it follows in all application visa subclass. Buti naman hindi.

hello, i have just completed the condition for 489 last week and ready to lodge my application for 887. ang inaantay ko nalang po is yung proof of residency na ni request ko sa property agent which she said she will send to me this coming thurs. can i proceed to lodge or better wait for few days para complete na docs at ma upload na din as soon as i lodge? may binibigay po bang time limit to upload the supporting docs? thanks in advance sa magrereply.

hi @ljdelu you can lodge now then enrol yourself in medicare. you can have the tenancy agreement and rent payment receipt as proof of residency. all the best!

Hi Guys! ask lang po on our situation. In progress po yung application namin for subclass 489, kung halimbawa po ba na magaapply kame ng subclass 887 later, kelangan po ba namin makuha yung username and password ng immi account? Nag agent po kase kame and we are not sure at the end of the day, kung ibbgay nila samen yung username and password dahil sila po nagcreate ng account namin. TIA po sa mga sasagot. Cheers!

@rjb_08 you don't need to get the u/n and pw for your agent's immi account. You can create your own and use that when you apply for 887.

Hello. May question lang po ako sa mga galing ng 489 visa. Nabasa ko po kasi na in order to qualify for a Subclass 489 visa, you would need to:
Lodge an EOI and be invited to apply
Be sponsored by a relative living in a Designated Area or nominated by a State or Territory Government.
Meet the pass mark in the skilled migration points test - currently 60
Be aged between 18 and 44 inclusive
Pass Skills Assessment in an occupation on the relevant Skilled Occupations List
Have Competent English or higher
Meet health and character requirements

My points currently is 55, nalilito lang po ako dun sa requirement na "Pass Skills Assessment in an occupation on the relevant SOL" kasi po sa CPA po ang nirerequire ay 65 sa PTE or 7 sa IELTS. Yung PTE ko po ay 6 each, so kahit po pala ay naka 60pts kana at kung di mo din makuha ang 65 sa PTE or 7 sa IELTS ay di ka pa rin pala qualified sa 489. Sa ngayon po ay fulltime working na po ako sa linya ng Accounting and kung maka1year po ako ay doon ko sana kukunin ang 5pts kasi di ko na po afford ang mag professional year kasi medyo mahal po. Meron po ba dito na Accountant na nanggaling ng 489? Please help naman po. Thanks.

Hello, medyo not clear kung anu ang question/questions mo.

Pero try ko lang..

Pass Skills Assessment in an occupation on the relevant Skilled Occupations List
-this means na meron ka nang positive skills assessment from an assessing body related
sa occupation mo. In you case since accountant ka - CPA Australia

So kung CPA australia requires Proficient English which means IELTS: 7+ in each component; or PTE Academic: 65+ in each component;

Hindi ka mag qualify or merit a positive skills assessment from them with your score of 6 sa PTE. Which is a major thing.

So kailangan mo first mag qualify sa CPA australia's assessment criteria before progressing to the next stage.

guys sorry for the silly question di ko pa ksi nareview yung 489 to 887 pathway visa, as of po ksi ang target at plan ko is yung 190 or 189 kaya yun pa lng na review ko and since tumatgal po ang pagkuha ng ITA sa mga visas po na yun I'm considering the 489 pathway. ang question ko lng po is:

assuming na nka kuha na po ako ng 489 visa and na satisfy ko na yung 1year work XP

* Need po ba ulit mag pareassess (in my case ACS) kpag applying na sa 887?
* Kelangan po ba ulit mag PTE or english assessment when your applying na sa 887 visa?

@mitchiekoy malapit n yan, based sa ibang forum, June applicants may CO na or granted na. June din ako nag apply, humingi additional docs yung CO saken last 28/8. Hopefully soon na yung grant.

Just want to ask. assuming that i'll be granted a 489 visa while having 3 year work bond ME, pwede ba ako mag initial entry lang tapos balik ako sa work just to finish my contract?

@dat Of course not. Ang condition ng 489 is for you to stay in the nominating state for 2 years. 4 years lang ang 489. Kung 3 years ang work mo outside AU, eh di 1 year mo lang magagamit ang 489 visa mo. Sayang. Why would you want to apply for AU if you don't plan to migrate immediately?
